2023 - English This thesis will analyze the economic and political prospects of Kyrgyzstan based on the geopolitics of the country. This thesis will provide data on Kyrgyzstan's political, economic, and diplomatic relations over the past thirty years with the following countries: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Russia, and the United States. Imports and exports between the countries will also be provided and analyzed in the second half of the paper. Using the method of comparing qualitative and quantitative data, conclusions will be drawn as to which direction Kyrgyzstan should take as a small developing country. It is not about minute-by-minute actions, but rather long-term actions that will have a tremendous weight on the economic development of the country in the future. The paper essentially comes to the conclusion that the best development for Kyrgyzstan will be if the country manages to reduce its dependence on Russia and explore other trade routes and other trade partners. Kategorizace slovenských a českých euroskeptických politických stran

2023 - English This thesis explored party-based Euroscepticism in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Euroscepticism is a growing phenomenon, and more importantly, it is moving from the periphery into mainstream political life. Twenty years anniversary of the Czech Republic and Slovakia entering the European Union is coming up next year, and it seems that two decades in the Union left a negative imprint on the population that was once excited about entering a new era. Seeing as the majority of research and categorization of Eurosceptic political movements in Slovakia and the Czech Republic was conducted around the accession period (2004), we decided to compare current Eurosceptic political parties in Slovakia and the Czech Republic in terms of the magnitude (soft/hard Euroscepticism) of and motivations for their scepticism (ideologically vs. strategically driven) and position them within the Eurosceptic space (as defined by Jan Rovny in 2004). We categorized eight Eurosceptic political parties which gained seats in at least one of the two last legislative elections, four Slovak parties (elections in 2016 and 2020) and four Czech Eurosceptic parties (elections in 2017 and 2021). Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá straníckym euroskepticizmom na Slovensku a v Českej republike. Euroskepticizmus je rastúci fenomén, a čo je dôležitejšie, presúva sa z periférie do hlavného politického prúdu. Budúci rok je 20 rokov od vstupu Česka a Slovenska do Európskej únie a zdá sa, že dve desaťročia v Únii zanechali negatívnu stopu na obyvateľoch, ktorí boli kedysi nadšení zo vstupu do novej éry. Vzhľadom na to, že väčšina výskumov a kategorizácie euroskeptických politických hnutí na Slovensku a v Českej republike sa uskutočnila okolo obdobia vstupu do EU (2004), rozhodli sme sa porovnať súčasné euroskeptické politické strany na Slovensku a v Českej republike z hľadiska vážnosti (mäkký/tvrdý euroskepticizmus) a motivácie ich skepticizmu (ideologicky vs. strategicky motivovaný) a umiestniť ich do euroskeptického priestoru (ako ho definoval Ján Rovný v roku 2004). Kategorizovali sme osem euroskeptických politických strán, ktoré získali mandáty aspoň v jedných z posledných dvoch parlamentných volieb, štyri slovenské strany (voľby v rokoch 2016 a 2020) a štyri české euroskeptické strany (voľby v rokoch 2017 a 2021). 2023 - English The aim of this thesis is to examine the ethical dilemma of artificial intelligence as represented in Kazuo Ishiguro's novel Klara and the Sun (2021). The theoretical part of the thesis delves into the topics of AI and its forms, the ethical questions arising from the existence of AI and the connection of AI and ethics with science fiction in general. The practical part of the thesis assesses Klara and the Sun with regard to the topics described. The argument of the thesis mainly focuses on the line which may be drawn between sentient AI and humanity and the ethical dilemmas raised by this notion. Cílem této práce je prozkoumat etické dilema umělé inteligence prezentované v románu Kazua Ishigura Klára a slunce (2021). Teoretická část práce se zabývá tématy umělé inteligence a jejími formami, etickými otázkami, které existence AI otevírá, a obecně tématy AI a etiky v kontextu sci-fi. V praktické části práce je interpretován román Klára a Slunce s ohledem na výše popsaná témata. Argumentace této práce se zaměřuje zejména na spojitosti mezi vyspělou umělou inteligencí a lidstvem a etickými dilematy, která jsou jejich důsledkem. 2023 - English Sexual health (SH) encompasses more than the mere absence of disease; it includes an individual's overall well-being in matters of sexuality. During formative years, access to comprehensive information and knowledge about sexual health is crucial for developing SE literacy. Therefore, sexuality education (SE) is pivotal in moulding sexual well-being. Globally, two approaches to SE exist comprehensive sexuality education (CSE), which has demonstrated better sexual health outcomes, and abstinence-only until marriage (AOUM). In Singapore, the predominant strategy is AOUM, which emphasizes abstinence as the primary defence against pregnancies and STDs. Some argue that Singapore's heteronormative culture and economic objectives influence the adoption of AOUM. However, amid increased reported sexual misconduct cases among students and teachers, questions arise concerning the effectiveness of SE in place. This study explores the understanding, meaning, and experiences of SE among students in Singaporean schools. Employing a qualitative methodology, eight individuals were interviewed, and thematic analysis guided by Braun and Clarke was utilized to analyze the data. Sexuální zdraví (SH) zahrnuje více než pouhou nepřítomnost nemoci; zahrnuje celkovou pohodu jedince v otázkách sexuality. Během formativních let je pro rozvoj gramotnosti SE zásadní přístup ke komplexním informacím a znalostem o sexuálním zdraví. Proto je sexuální výchova (SE) klíčová při formování sexuální pohody. Globálně existují dva přístupy k SE, komplexní sexuální výchova (CSE), která prokázala lepší výsledky v oblasti sexuálního zdraví, a abstinence pouze do manželství (AOUM). V Singapuru je převládající strategií AOUM, která zdůrazňuje abstinenci jako primární obranu proti těhotenství a pohlavně přenosným chorobám. Někteří tvrdí, že singapurská heteronormativní kultura a ekonomické cíle ovlivňují přijetí AOUM. Uprostřed zvýšeného počtu hlášených případů sexuálního zneužívání mezi studenty a učiteli však vyvstávají otázky týkající se účinnosti zavedení SE. Tato studie zkoumá chápání, význam a zkušenosti SE mezi studenty v singapurských školách. Za použití kvalitativní metodologie bylo dotazováno osm jednotlivců a k analýze dat byla použita tematická analýza vedená Braunem a Clarkem. Studie identifikovala čtyři hlavní témata: nezapomenutelná setkání, důraz na abstinenci, požadavek na větší znalosti a přítomnost studu kolem tématu. 2023 - English The aim of this bachelor thesis is to discuss and analyse the analogies between the play Romeo and Juliet (1597) by William Shakespeare and its retelling These Violent Delights (2020) and Our Violent Ends (2021) by Chloe Gong. It further aims to examine the aforementioned literary works in the context of identity and the aspects that constitute it. The thesis also focuses on the author's intentions and the significance of her focus in the duology under discussion. The theoretical part provides the necessary terminology and introduction to the works of both authors. It also includes a necessary introduction to the historical context of Shanghai in the late 1920s, which serves to an analysis of its depiction in Chloe Gong's work. The practical part is divided into selected influences on identity and how they shape the characters in the books. The examination focuses on the influence of family and family background, romantic relationships and the environment and place in which one grew up. Dále si klade za cíl zmíněná literární díla rozebrat v kontextu identity a z pohledu aspektů, které ji tvoří. Práce se také soustředí na záměry autorky a význam jejího zaměření v rozebírané duologii. Teoretická část poskytuje nezbytnou terminologii a představení děl obou autorů. Obsahuje také nezbytné uvedení historického kontextu Šanghaje ke konci 20. letech 20. století, které poslouží k analýze jejího vyobrazení v díle Chloe Gong. Praktická část práce je rozdělena na vybrané vlivy na identitu a jakým způsobem formuje postavy v dílech. Prozkoumání se soustředí na ovlivnění rodiny a rodinného zázemí, romantických vztahů a prostředí a místo, ve kterém člověk vyrostl.
