The aim of this thesis capable with analyzing of unemployment in the Russian federation. Attention of readers drawn to the definition of the main determinants that influence on macroeconomic indicators. The thesis divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part of the work includes an introduction, focusing on the concepts of the topic and explains the context for understanding the issue, using the opinions of the most important world economists. In the practical part there are made analysis with specific data for the Russian Federation in the area of unemployment. Comparative and descriptive methods have been used in the thesis. Were identified factors affecting the overall unemployment rate processes associated with structural changes in the economy, the development of new economic forms, the privatization of the treatment with the introduction of the principle of voluntary work, as well as factors slowing labor costs for the working process.

Groundnut has been grown for many decades by small scale rural farmers in Zimbabwe as a means to boost their income. Production has been declining since the turn of the millennium due to many reasons which includes among others, having unsustained markets which has seen the country importing from neighbouring countries. The aim of
the study was to investigate the availability and accessibility of groundnut markets in addition to analysing the factors influencing rural farmers marketing decisions with particular emphasis on prices. Literature sources and previous research suggested that
women take a leading role in the marketing of groundnuts and market prices are highly seasonal. To fulfil the aims of the thesis, a cross-sectional survey was conducted in
Mazowe district. A questionnaire was administered to 100 respondents from 10 randomly selected wards in the district. Key informant interviews and focus group discussions were also conducted to triangulate the findings from the main survey. Data capturing was done
using SPSS version 20 and the analysis was done using MS Excel. Data was analysed using descriptive statistics, Friedman rank test and time series analysis. A Likert scaling technique was used to rate farmers perception on factors affecting price of groundnuts on the markets. Findings from the research indicated that groundnut markets are available in Mazowe district though the more lucrative ones are less readily accessible for rural
farmers. Time series analysis of prices revealed that they are seasonal with the highest prices in April and lowest in July. The study concluded that three marketing channels are available in the study area and women play a significant role in groundnut marketing even though various constraints to marketing were cited.

This thesis was focused on estimating the influence that farmers income, size of farm, education level and gender has on accessing adequate information in rural communities. The thesis also found out about the information needs of farmers, types of information resources and services available to farmers, their knowledge of information resources and services, level of satisfaction on information available to them as well as the incidence of gender inequality in information transfer. Research was conducted in East Akim district in the Eastern region of Ghana. A categorical binary logistic model in SPSS was used to determine the significance and impact of farmers income, size of farm, education level and gender on adequate information access. Farmers income was the only variable that had a real major positive impact on accessing adequate information, therefore contributing to the probability that the richer the farmer the easier to access adequate information. Size of farm and education level of farmers did not have a real impact on accessing adequate information. Male farmers had a 0.173 times chance more than female farmers in accessing adequate information but do not reflect much on their income. Gender inequality seemed not to be a problem which will prevent farmers especially women to access adequate information.

V současné době, odvětví cestovního ruchu je jedním z nejdynamičtěji se rozvíjejících forem mezinárodního obchodu se službami. Vývoj mezinárodního cestovního ruchu vede k rozvoji hospodářské infrastruktury. Proto mezinárodní turistika je považován za jeden z nejslibnějších průmyslových odvětvích.
Specifika turistika jako odvětví ekonomiky spočívá ve skutečnosti, že to com-zkombinováno v sobě celá řada odvětví, jako je doprava, komunikace, hotelů, bank, vstoupí-Tainment, etc. V některých zemích cestovní ruch je jedním z nejdůležitějších článků zahraničního obchodu a hospodářské činnosti uvnitř.
Současná studie zaměřená na zkoumání současnou situaci domácího cestovního ruchu na Ukrajině. Strategická analýza, která je uvedena v této práci se skládá z ex-aminaci na význam odvětví cestovního ruchu, stanovení strukturálními problémy a výzvy, jimž průmysl v současné době čelí. Kromě toho, Tato studie zkoumá budoucí Strat-tegie pro další rozvoj domácího cestovního ruchu. Currently, the tourism industry is one of the most dynamically developing forms of international trade in services. The development of international tourism leads to the development of economic infrastructure. Thus, international tourism is seen as one of the most promising industries.
The specifics of the tourism as a sector of the economy lies in the fact that it combines in itself a number of sectors, such as transport, communications, hotels, banks, entertainment, etc. In some countries, tourism is one of the most important articles of foreign trade and the intraeconomic activities.
The current study aimed at investigating the current situation of domestic tourism industry in Ukraine. Strategic analysis which is presented in this thesis consists of the examination of the importance of tourism sector, determination of structural problems and challenges which industry currently face. Moreover, present study explores the future strategies for further domestic tourism development

Bachelor thesis titled the analysis of unemployment in a selected region is focused on current problems in the labor market and an analysis of unemployment in the period 2005-2015 in the Usti region. Comparative and descriptive methods have been used in the thesis.
The first part describes the problems of unemployment and characterizes the labor market in terms of economic theory. The second part deals with the brief description of the Usti Region and subsequently the development of unemployment in this region. Evaluation of unemployment development is performed by using data from the official website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
At the end of the thesis are mentioned suggestions, how to reduce unemployment.

Mobile Telephony and Internet in Afghanistan: Issues of Network Coverage and Quality of Service

Based on available literature and author experience in field, there are some challenges existing in the area of network coverage and quality of service of mobile telephony and mobile internet of cellular networks in Afghanistan. These challenges were main driving forces which moved author forward, in order to specifically find that, which are critical, major and minor, and furthermore propose adequate solutions based on analysed data, tested hypotheses, available advanced technical schemes, and conducted interviews with end users, operators, the MCIT and the ATRA.
Among main findings belong, gender inequality, generational divide, and low level literacy in access to mobile service in Afghanistan. Obtained data further illustrates, the satisfaction degree of end users from the presence of network coverage, quality of service of mobile telephony and mobile internet. It furthermore indicates, the most annoying situations which end user experience during telephony conversation and mobile internet in the country. The Results show that, the majority of end users use mobile phone for telephony service, most of the complaints have raised from low signal intensity, low data rate, blocked call, dropped call, and low signal intensity in rural area (e.g. villages, countryside and borders). The dependency between specific categorical variables have been also tested, and based on the result of the chi square test, the level of dependency between them are determined. Advanced schemes of network coverage and quality of service proposed by various research scholars have been also reviewed in order to study and furthermore address the existing challenges technically.
Based on the results, author recommends deployment of small cells, increasing number of drive tests, appropriate location for BTSs installation, deployment of recent self configured/self optimized schemes of handover and neighbouring cell list, increasing the value of the base station parameters, deployment of high order Sectorization, and increasing of numbers of TRXs of base station as adequate solutions for removing existing challenges in the areas of network coverage and quality of service of mobile telephony and mobile internet in Afghanistan.

Physical Properties of Soil-Biochar Mixtures - a Laboratory Study

Recently, biochar´s potential use in soil management and amendment has gained a considerable interest globally. Growing evidence demonstrated that biochar results in sustainable property management when it is applied to the soil. However, biochar vary considerably in terms of physical and chemical properties and its benefits. Previous studies on biochar have been mainly focused on the chemical and nutritional effects. Little is known about the effect of biochar on the physical properties of soils. Therefore, the objective of this thesis was to determine the influence of biochar on the physical and hydrophysical properties of some soils from the Czech Republic.
Three model soil types were investigated used such as; a standard fine silica sand (SA), the Suchdol silty loam Chernozem (CH), and a light Cambisol (CM). The biochar concentration treatments were a control without admixture of biochar (B0); a treatment with addition of 0.001 g/g (B1) and a treatment with addition of 0.01 g/g (B2). Each treatment was carried out in triplication.
The data collected were soil porosity, bulk density and particle density measured by standard methods (drying, weighing, pycnometer). Then the saturated and unsaturated hydraulic conductivity, wettability and retention curve (up to the suction about 80 kPa) were measured with Decagon Minidisk tension infiltrometer and UMS Hyprop evaporation equipment. The experiments were carried out in the Department of Water Resources laboratory.
Altogether, we can say that the effect of biochar addition on the soil physical properties is clearly perceivable but not as strong as one might expect. The identified effects of biochar addition are the decrease in sorptivity, the increase in saturated hydraulic conductivity and the increase in the water retention capacity. However, these effects are not obvious and are not always observed. This would probably happen with the higher doses of biochar above the economic limits.

This diploma thesis deals with foreign trade with coal and primarily focuses on the Czech Republic.
The theoretical part describes the structure, entry modes, importance, functions, theories and trade organizations of foreign trade. It also examines the significance of coal, such as the basic information about coal, its connection to the environment, safety, energy sector and the foreign trade with coal worldwide. The theoretical part is intertwined with the practical part and continues to the analysis of foreign trade with both main types of coal in the Czech Republic. First of all, it defines the current structure of production, consumption, import and export of hard coal and lignite, then it describes a prognosis of production and consumption between the period 2015 and 2045. The crucial part of this thesis focuses on the prediction of the future import and export of hard coal and lignite thus the foreign trade balance in the Czech Republic by using the trend analysis.
This work concludes that the import of both types of coal will be increasing and oppositely the export will continuously decrease. The main reason is securing the stability of the energy supply but also the mines/quarries closures.

Lack of access to improved sanitation in Indonesia is reflected in persistence of practicing open defecation causing diarrhoea that is a major reason of under-five mortality. Composting toilets are considered as ecological sanitation representing dry type of sanitation system that is independent of water supply. Due to natural processes of composting that occur under specific conditions, human waste is transformed into compost that can be used as fertiliser. Although the approach of sustainable sanitation is being introduced in many developing countries, ecological sanitation have not yet been widely implemented in Indonesia except small pilot projects. However, due to sanitation programme of local non-government organisation Project Hope Sumba settled on Indonesian island of Sumba, composting toilets have been built to serve local people as improved sanitation to eradicate open defecation. The objective of the thesis was to assess user acceptance of composting toilets and perception of ecological sanitation in sub-district of Wewewa Tengah of West Sumba. Additionally, identification of criteria that influence acceptance of composting toilets have been summarized. Primary data have been collected in February and March 2015. The research was based on the interview accompanied by the structured questionnaire with 80 respondents who obtained the composting toilets within the sanitation programme. Waterless single-vault and double vault composting toilets without mixing urine and excreta device were installed as well as urine-diverting ones. Based on the survey, majority of the beneficiaries 57.5% has decided to quit using the composting toilets and rebuilt them to septic tank system. The main reasons for stop using the toilets were the fact that composting toilet does not work correctly because of lack of instructions. Based on the results of the survey, the most important factors affecting acceptance of composting toilets were frequency of using the bulking agent as it contributes to ensure correct process of composting, the experience of final compost application, understanding process of composting and having an off-farm activity. Despite certain failures, the project represents unique experience of composting toilets in Indonesia and can serve as source of valuable information for further projects.
