Zaměstnanecká angažovanost v IT sektoru v České republice

The objective of this thesis is to analyse the employee engagement among IT sector employees and to identify the specifics of the target group in relation to the development of employee engagement through job-related drivers. Attention is given to the theoretical background of employee engagement, its consequences, and methods of measurement. Aspects of employee engagement development with a focus on job-related drivers are analysed. The HR process of job design, which can contribute to the development of employee engagement through the job-related factors, is described. The specificities of the target group of IT professionals are addressed. The thesis includes a quantitative research conducted in the form of an online questionnaire. The respondents of the research are IT professionals working in private companies based in Prague. The aim of the quantitative research is to analyse the relationship between employee engagement and two job-related drivers that contribute to its development among employees in the IT sector in the Czech Republic. Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat zaměstnaneckou angažovanost pracovníků v IT sektoru a identifikovat specifika cílové skupiny ve vztahu k budování zaměstnanecké angažovanosti prostřednictvím pracovních faktorů. Pozornost je věnována teoretickým východiskům zaměstnanecké angažovanosti, jejím dopadům a způsobům měření. Analyzovány jsou aspekty budování zaměstnanecké angažovanosti s důrazem na pracovní faktory. Popsán je personální proces vytváření pracovních míst, pomocí kterého lze přispívat k rozvoji zaměstnanecké angažovanosti prostřednictvím pracovních faktorů. Postihnuta jsou specifika cílové skupiny IT profesionálů. Práce obsahuje kvantitativní šetření, které bylo provedeno pomocí online dotazníku. Respondenty šetření jsou pracovníci v IT sektoru působící v soukromých společnostech se sídlem v Praze. Cílem empirického šetření je analyzovat vzájemný vztah zaměstnanecké angažovanosti a dvou pracovních faktorů, které přispívají k jejímu budování, u pracovníků v IT sektoru v České republice. Zkoumán je vztah mezi zaměstnaneckou angažovaností a autonomií v pracovní činnosti a vztah mezi zaměstnaneckou angažovaností a zpětnou vazbou na pracovní výkon. The topic of this thesis is a literary genre called the poem in prose which comes from France from the nineteenth century. At the beginning of the thesis the genre is introduced and typical features of this genre are explained and also the beginnings of this genre in France and in Spain are presented. The main part of the thesis is an analysis of three books which are supposed to be examples of this genre. First, Platero y yo written by Juan Ramón Jiménez, second, Impresiones y paisajes from Federico García Lorca and, third, Ocnos by Luis Cernuda. The aim of the thesis is try to decide whether the books belong to the genre or not and why and describe how lyrical effect is achieved on a reader, and at last place, what topics are presented in books. Na začátku práce bude tento žánr představen, bude vysvětleno, jaké jsou typické znaky tohoto žánru a budou popsány jeho počátky ve Francii a ve Španělsku. Hlavní částí práce bude rozbor vybraných děl, která jsou považována za ukázky tohoto žánru. Jako první bude rozebráno dílo Platero y yo od Juana Ramóna Jiméneze, dále pak Impresiones y paisajes od Federica Garcíi Lorcy a Ocnos od Luise Cernudy. Cílem práce bude pokusit se určit, zda jde skutečně o básně v próze, a popsat, jakým způsobem dosahují lyrického účinku na čtenáře a jakým se věnují tématům. The master thesis deals with the analysis theme of violence, nature and music or dance in the short stories Water (Agua, 1935), Schoolboys (Los Escoleros, 1935), Children's love (Warma kuyay, 1935) and the novel Diamond a Flint (Diamantes y Pedernales, 1954). The result of the analysis is to understand the meaning of the themes and compare their sense in all stories. Coincidently in all the stories we encounter a suffering Indian, we also perceive thorough description of nature and we notice a strong folkloric topic. The author of these books is José María Arguedas, an importanat Peruvian writer of the 20th century. He i one of the representatives of the cultural-social-political movement called indigenism. Among others representatives of the mentioned literary movement, he is remarkable for starting points of his work and also he is different because of his complicated childhood destiny, which is very closely linked to the Indian world and to the issue of person of mixed race, to which he sacrificed his whole life. Key words Indigenous movements, Peru, José María Arguedas, indian theme, cruelty, nature, music Diplomová práce se zabývá rozborem motivu násilí, přírody a hudby či tance v povídkách Voda (Agua, 1935), Školáci (Los Escoleros, 1935), Dětská láska (Warma kuyay, 1935) a v novele Diamanty a Pazourky (Diamantes y Pedernales, 1954). Cílem analýzy je pochopit význam motivů a porovnat jejich smysl v jednotlivých prózách. Shodně ve všech příbězích narážíme na trpícího indiána, také vnímáme podrobné popisy přírody a všímáme si i silné folklorní tématiky. Autorem děl je významný peruánský spisovatel 20. století José María Arguedas. Řadí se mezi zástupce kulturně-sociálně-politického hnutí, které se nazývá indigenismus. Mezi ostatními zástupci zmíněného literárního směru vyniká pro svá východiska tvorby a nadále ho odlišuje komplikovaný dětský osud, který je velmi úzce spjatý s indiánským světem a s otázkou míšenectví, které obětoval celý život. This thesis concerns the theory of semilattices, which are non-trivial discrete additive submonoids of Rn , which are contained in a cone. Special emphasis is on their indecomposable elements. The most important example of semilattices is derived from real quadratic number fields, which involves the most parts of the thesis and all indecomposable elements of such semilattices are characterised in two ways. That includes using various tools from number theory, mainly con- tinued fractions, their corresponding semiconvergents and their approximation properties, Farey pairs, but also some tools from algebraic number theory. The final part of the thesis concerns the upper bound of the norm of indecompos- able elements in a semilattice, derived from the Minkowski embedding of the corresponding number field. 1 Tato práce se zabývá teorií polomřížek, což jsou netriviální diskrétní podmo- noidy v Rn se sčítáním, které jsou obsaženy v nějakém kuželi. Speciální pozornost je věnována jejich nerozložitelným prvkům. Nejdůležitější případ polomřížek je odvozen z reálných kvadratických číselných těles, kterému je věnována značná část práce a charakterizace nerozložitelných prvků těchto polomřížek je v práci doká- zána dvěma způsoby, k čemuž je využito různých partií z teorie čísel, především se jedná o řetězové zlomky, k nim příslušné polokonvergenty a jejich aproximační vlastnosti, Fareyho dvojice, ale také je použita algebraická teorie čísel. Závěrečná část práce je dále věnována hornímu odhadu normy nerozložitelných prvků v po- lomřížce, odpovídající Minkowského vnoření příslušného číselného tělesa. 1

Viskoelastická deformace planetárních těles

Loading a planet's surface causes it to deform. The evolution of this deformation is influenced by the internal structure of the planet. In this thesis we use a one-dimensional numerical model of Maxwell viscoelastic deformation of a spherical shell to test the effect of a few selected parameters of lithosphere and mantle on the specific case of loading of the Martian surface by the North Polar cap. The ice sheet is less than 10 million years old and the measured surface deformation under it is about 100 m. We chose elastic lithosphere thickness and viscous profile of the lithosphere and mantle as the model parameters to be tested, the other parameters according to the results of InSight mission. We made the viscosity profile either piecewise constant or defined by an Arrhenius formula. The magnitude of deformation is mostly influenced by the elastic lithosphere thickness. To realize the deformation observed on Mars, our models with piecewise constant viscosity require the lithospheric thickness to be Te = 200 − 300 km, Arrhenius formula based models require Te ≥ 300 km. Zatížením povrchu planety dochází k jeho deformaci. Časový průběh této deformace je ovlivněný vnitřní strukturou planety. V této práci jsme pomocí jednorozměrného nu- merického modelu maxwellovské viskoelastické deformace kulové slupky otestovali vliv několika vybraných parametrů litosféry a pláště na konkrétním případu zatížení povrchu Marsu ledovou čepičkou na severním pólu. Ledová vrstva není starší než 10 milionů let a změřený průhyb povrchu pod ní je asi 100 m. Jako testované parametry modelu jsme vybrali tloušťku elastické litosféry a viskozní profil litosféry a pláště, ostatní parame- try podle výsledků mise InSight. Viskozní profil jsme volili buď po částech konstantní, nebo definovaný Arrheniovským vztahem. Veliký vliv na velikost průhybu povrchu má tloušťka elastické litosféry. K realizaci deformace pozorované na Marsu naše modely s po částech konstantní viskozitou vyžadují tloušťku litosféry Te = 200 − 300 km, modely s Arrheniovským profilem vyžadují Te ≥ 300 km.

The aim of the thesis is to identify and systematize the process of recruiting and selecting employees for the position of machine mechanic in production. Attention is focused on general starting points in the field of filling jobs process, recruitment and selection of employees. Subsequently, the job position of a machine mechanic in production and its general competencies are defined. Then, the specifics of recruiting and selecting production machine mechanics are characterized, which are based on the starting points of recruiting and selecting employees, but at the same time reflect the specifics of the position of machine mechanics in production. The empirical investigation was conducted in the organization LEGO Production, s. r. o., and was implemented by analyzing the organization's documentation on the process of recruiting and selecting employees and subsequent semi-structured interviews with informants. The informants of the empirical investigation were superior workers who fill the job of machine mechanic to their teams. The areas of the process of obtaining employees for the job of machine mechanic, methods of obtaining employees for the job of machine mechanic, the process of selection for the job of machine mechanic and methods of selection for the job of machine mechanic are... Cílem diplomové práce je identifikace a systematizace procesu získávání a výběru zaměstnanců na pracovní místo mechanik strojů ve výrobě. Pozornost je v diplomové práci zaměřena na obecná východiska v oblasti obsazování pracovních míst, získávání zaměstnanců a výběru zaměstnanců. Následně je charakterizováno pracovní místo mechanik strojů ve výrobě a jeho obecné kompetence a charakterizována specifika získávání a výběru mechaniků výrobních strojů, která navazují na teoretická východiska získávání a výběru zaměstnanců, ale zároveň odrážejí specifika pracovního místa mechanika strojů ve výrobě. Empirické šetření bylo realizováno v organizaci LEGO Production, s. r. o., a to analýzou dokumentace organizace k procesu získávání a výběru zaměstnanců a následnými polostrukturovanými rozhovory s informanty, jimiž byli nadřízení pracovníci, kteří obsazují pracovní místo mechanik strojů do svých týmů. Sledovány byly oblasti procesu získávání zaměstnanců, metody získávání zaměstnanců, proces výběru zaměstnanců a metody výběru zaměstnanců na pracovní místo mechanik strojů. Výsledky empirického šetření jsou porovnány s teoretickými východisky, dostupnými studiemi a vytvořeným modelem procesu získávání a výběru mechaniků strojů. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of personal data protection in the age of surveillance capitalism, relying on the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR. It presents, first of all, what can be imagined by the term Big Data, since the protection of personal data consists in the constant collection of all data, among which there are personal data. In the context of this issue, the various risks of data collection and processing will be discussed. Then, attention is given to surveillance capitalism, i.e. not only the definition, but also what it consists of and what pitfalls come with it. Above all, this paper seeks to answer the question of what role the GDPR currently plays in relation to data protection, i.e. whether it is successful or not, which of course cannot be done without a more detailed analysis of this legal document. To this end, the thesis will focus on selected examples from practice that should help to answer the question posed. Key words Surveillance Studies, surveillance, Big Data, surveillance capitalism, GDPR, protection of personal data, social media Diplomová práce se věnuje tématu ochrany osobních údajů v době kapitalismu dohledu, přičemž se opírá o Obecné nařízení o ochraně osobních údajů neboli GDPR. Představuje v prvé řadě, co si lze představit pod pojmem Big Data, neboť ochrana osobních údajů spočívá v ustavičném shromažďování veškerých dat, mezi nimiž se nacházejí i ony osobní údaje. V souvislosti s danou problematikou budou rozebrána jednotlivá rizika sběru a zpracování dat. Poté je zde pozornost věnována kapitalismu dohledu, tj. nejen definici, ale rovněž tomu, v čem spočívá a jaká úskalí spolu s ním přichází. A především se tato práce snaží zodpovědět na otázku, jakou roli v současné době ve vztahu k ochraně osobních údajů sehrává GDPR, tedy, zdali je úspěšné či nikoli, což se ovšem neobejde bez podrobnější analýzy tohoto právního dokumentu. Za tímto účelem se práce zaměří na vybrané ukázky z praxe, které by měly napomoci k zodpovězení položené otázky. The M.A. thesis deals with the analysis of MS Jerusalem, Wallach 14 from 1772, which contains the Divrei ha-yamim shel Yosef Yitshak Poppers mi-Prag. The work consists of an edition containing an annotated transcription of the manuscript and a study that places the text in a literary and historical context. In the study, I also focus on the characters in the narrative, especially the main protagonist, the Prague merchant Yosef Yitshak Poppers. I also deal with details that are only implied in the narrative, namely, the level of medical knowledge in European countries at the time under investigation and the concept of dying in Judaism in the time before the Enlightenment. Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou rukopisu MS Jeruzalém, Wallach 14 z roku 1772, který obsahuje vyprávění Divrej ha-jamim šel Josef Jicchak Poppers mi-Prag. Práce se skládá z edice obsahující transkripci rukopisu s poznámkovým aparátem a studie, která vkládá vyprávění do literárního a dějinného kontextu. Ve studií rovněž věnuji pozornost postavám ve vyprávění, zejména hlavní postavě, pražskému obchodníku s uniformami Josefu Jicchaku Poppersovi. Také přibližuji vybraná témata, která jsou ve vyprávění zaznamenána pouze okrajově. Jedná se o úroveň lékařských znalostí v evropských zemí ve zkoumané době a pojetí umírání v judaismu před nástupem osvícenství.

Možnosti a překážky pracovního uplatnění klientů azylových domů

This master's thesis explores the opportunities and difficulties faced by clients of shelter houses in securing employment. The objective of the study is to identify factors influencing the job placement of this target group. The thesis introduces the institution of shelter houses, their legislative framework, and types of shelter houses from the perspective of target groups. It also delves into the phenomenon of unemployment, focusing on clients of shelter houses, its common causes, and its impacts on this group. The work highlights the employment opportunities available to shelter house clients, including options offered by active employment policies such as retraining, publicly beneficial work, and socially useful positions. It further discusses unemployment support, individual plans used in shelter houses, job activation, protected and open labor markets, training job positions, and also inappropriate employment opportunities. Finally, the thesis identifies the most common barriers to employment in the labor market, including low levels of education and qualifications, indebtedness, psychological and health disadvantages, employer prejudices, and limiting socio-cultural environments. Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi a překážkami pracovního uplatnění klientů azylových domů. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké faktory ovlivňují pracovní uplatnění této cílové skupiny. V práci je představena instituce azylových domů, jejich legislativní ukotvení a druhy azylových domů z perspektivy cílových skupin. Dále je představen fenomén nezaměstnanosti se zaměřením na klienty azylových domů, jeho obvyklé příčiny a dopady na tuto cílovou skupinu. Práce poukazuje na to, jaké jsou možnosti pracovního uplatnění pro klienty azylových domů. Představuje možnosti nabízené aktivní politikou zaměstnanosti, jako rekvalifikace, veřejně prospěšné práce a společensky účelná místa. Dále je přiblížena podpora v nezaměstnanosti, individuální plán používaný v azylových domech, pracovní aktivizace, chráněný a otevřený trh práce, tréninková pracovní místa a také nevhodné možnosti pracovního uplatnění. Nakonec jsou identifikovány nejčastější překážky uplatnění na trhu práce, a to nízká úroveň vzdělávání a kvalifikace, předluženost, psychické a zdravotní znevýhodnění, předsudky zaměstnavatelů a limitující sociokulturní prostředí. The diploma thesis deals with cultural memory and urban space in the Vršovice district of Prague. The work is devoted to Vršovice as a whole, it presents Old and New Vršovice, including individual selected places. Vršovice developed mainly in the 50s and 60s of the 20th century, when new housing estates were created in Prague and urban space planning was in full swing after the war years. The work deals with the topic of memory and how this phenomenon manifests itself in culture and history. It follows several important places and buildings that have played a significant role in cultural memory and in building the identity of the inhabitants, and how these places have been affected by time and changes in society. It also tracks how big the changes were and how these places changed physically. It is mainly concentrated in the area of New Vršovice. The main reason is the greater dynamics of changes in this area. Another reason is the fact that the area of Old Vršovice has already been the subject of many studies and book titles. In this direction, New Vršovice is still a bit behind, and I would like to contribute to the study of New Vršovice. Urban space is, together with cultural memory, the main topic of this work. Cultural memory is a relatively new scientific method to help us understand these... Diplomová práce se zabývá kulturní pamětí a městským prostorem pražské čtvrti Vršovice. Práce se věnuje Vršovicím jako celku, představí se v ní Staré a Nové Vršovice včetně jednotlivých vybraných míst. Vršovice se rozvíjely hlavně v 50. a 60. letech 20. století, kdy v Praze vznikala nová sídliště a plánování městského prostoru bylo po válečných letech ve velkém rozmachu. Práce se zabývá tématem paměti a tím, jak se tento fenomén projevuje v kultuře a historii. Sleduje několik důležitých míst a staveb, které hrály významnou roli v kulturní paměti a v budování identity obyvatel, a jak tato místa ovlivnil čas a změny ve společnosti. Sleduje rovněž o jak velké změny šlo a jak se tato místa změnila fyzicky. Soustředí se především na oblast Nových Vršovic. Hlavním důvodem je větší dynamika změn v této oblasti. Dalším důvodem je skutečnost, že oblast Starých Vršovic již byla předmětem mnoha studií a knižních titulů. V tomto směru Nové Vršovice zatím o něco zaostávají, a já bych rád přispěl právě do studia Nových Vršovic. Městský prostor je spolu s kulturní pamětí hlavním tématem této práce.
