Byl uskutečněn experimentální výzkum materiálových a mechanických vlastností dodaných dvou ocelových segmentů vyřezaných z rychlozávěrových vrat VD Slapy pro posouzení způsobilosti k provozu. An experimental research of the material and mechanical properties of two steel segments cut from quick-closing gate was carried out for suitability assessment to operation. The quick-closing gate is a technology part of the river dam Slapy.

GPR survey of the reinforcement above the long horizontal window case study: Ice ring stadium restaurant Fuchs on Štvanice Island

The aim of the survey was to assess the use of Ground Penetration Radar for the reinforcement position detection on the Ice ring restaurant – an early concrete building on Štvanice Island in Prague from 1932. For this case study a potentially critical section of a façade above the app. 16 m long horizontal window was selected. GPR from IDS company equipped with 2 GHz high frequency antenna was used.

Solving the moving mass problem on large finite element models with modal analysis – estimation of the discrete movement error

Solving transient dynamic problems on large finite element (FE) models using a direct integration requires a high sampling rate and therefore also considerable computing times because of the large system matrices. Movement of a mass on a FE model has to follow the discrete pattern of the FEs, and is therefore of a discrete character. This introduces an unknown\nerror into the analytical results. Applying modal analysis (MA) reduces the number of equations used in the subsequent numerical integration by orders of magnitude. Resampling of the mode shapes to the required sampling rate makes it possible to solve the moving mass problem much more quickly and quasi-continuously. The performed comparative analytical study using ANSYS and MATLAB showed that using a discrete movement on the FE mesh when solving a moving mass problem can cause a considerable error.

Description of the quasi-periodic response caused by combined harmonic and random excitation

The generalized van der Pol equation exposed to combined harmonic and random excitation can exhibit a quasi-periodic response. The existence of this particular type of response depends on the detuning between the driving and resonance frequencies. The response is stationary for a ”small” or ”large” value of detuning. The contribution specifies in detail the detuning interval in which the quasi-periodic response occurs.

Archeologické stavební památky v prostoru pod III. nádvořím Pražského hradu byly v roce 2021 monitorovány z hlediska rozsahu výkvětů solí a jejich chemického složení. Výkvěty solí na opukové zdi kostela zvaného sv. Bartoloměj obsahují uhličitan a hydrogenuhličitan sodný, síran sodný a síran vápenatý. Místy byl přítomen též dusičnan sodný a dusičnan draselný. Cílem výzkumu je návrh opatření pro zmírnění účinku solí na degradaci historické zdiva. Archaeological architectural monuments in the area under III. in the courtyard of Prague Castle were monitored in 2021 in terms of the extent of salt efflorescences and their chemical composition. Salt efflorescence on the marlstone walls of the church of St. Bartholomew contain sodium carbonate and bicarbonate, sodium sulfate and calcium sulfate. Sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate were also present in some samples. The aim of the research is to propose measures to mitigate the effect of salts on the degradation of historic masonry.

V rámci stavebně-technického průzkumu byl proveden mikroskopický rozbor vzorků historického betonu s využitím skenovacího elektronového mikroskopu a SEM‐EDS analýzy. Byla provedena charakterizace plniva a složek pojiva malt a identifikace produktů chemické koroze. Výsledky průzkumných prací byly použity jako podklad pro návrh rekonstrukce objektu.\n Within the construction-technical survey framework, a microscopic analysis of historical concrete samples was performed using a scanning electron microscope and SEM-EDS analysis. Characterization of mortar components and identification of chemical corrosion products. The results of the survey work were used as a basis for the reconstruction project.

Numerical study of the air flow around the U-profile

Our contribution deals with the numerical simulations of the air flow around u-profiles at various angles of attack with the aim to investigate their proneness to galloping. The Unsteady Reynolds Averaged Navier- Stokes (RANS) simulations were performed in the COMSOL Multiphysics software, k-ω SST turbulence model was used. The values of the aerodynamic coefficients and Strouhal number were evaluated and the results were compared with the results obtained experimentally in the wind tunnel.

Vzorky pochází z omítky stropní konstrukce kostela Mistra Jana Husa v České Lípě. Omítka se skládá z několika vrstev a nátěrů. Cílem průzkumu je charakterizovat vrstvy tvořící základ omítkového souvrství, které bylo použito ve spojení se stropním systém Stauss. The studied ceiling plasters were sampled the Mistr Jan Hus Church in Česká Lípa. The material consisted of several layers of paint. The aim of this research was to characterize the individual layers of plaster in the Stauss system.
