Despite the fact that Hašek and Kafka lived in the same city, in the same era, and despite the
influence each exercised on the course of European literature in the 20th century, reception of their works has gone in absolutely opposite directions. The lecture has two goals: the first is to show the parallel characteristics of the two authors; the second is to elaborate on how these two writers are incorporated into Hungarian literature: Hašek is considered as a representative of Czech humor; Kafka is seen as a writer of a prophetical influence on history.

Znalost a možnost řízení technicko-provozních operací jakékoliv veřejné nebo jiné infrastruktury je předpokladem její spolehlivosti. K jedné z nejvýznamnějších technických infrastruktur států patří vodárenské systémy. Jsou předpokladem nejen funkce současných měst a obcí, ale současně i velmi často jejich požárního zabezpečení. Pro dosažení uvedeného cíle v přijatelném ekonomickém rozměru musí provozovatel, státní správa a samospráva mít dostatek teoretických znalostí a technických prostředků pro řízení systémů nejen ve standardních podmínkách, ale především při vzniku mimořádných nebo krizových situací. Následující článek v základním rozsahu v chronologickém sledu naznačuje, jakými metodami lze cíle dosáhnout v různých podmínkách a naopak vznikají rizika při neúplných technicko-provozních informacích pro veřejnou a soukromou infrastrukturu zastavěných území.

TGA-MS/IR analýza těkavých organických látek z lignocelulózových materiálů

V oblasti památkové péče jsou knihy a archiválie ukládány do ochranných obalů, zhotovených z lignocelulózových materiálů. Z obalových materiálů se mohou v průběhu času uvolňovat těkavé organické látky. Mezi nimi lze nejčastěji nalézt organické kyseliny, aldehydy, ketony, estery organických kyselin. Tyto tzv. organické těkavé sloučeniny (VOC = volatile organic compounds) Tyto uvolněné látky mohou interagovat s objekty, které jsou v obalech dlouhodobě uloženy.
V této práci jsme se zabývali možností analýzy těchto těkavých látek pomocí termogravimetrické analýzy s hmotnostní či infračervenou detekcí. Při termogravimetrické analýze dochází k postupnému zahřívání vzorku a je sledována změna jeho hmotnosti v závislosti na dosažené teplotě. Během zahřívání se ze vzorku uvolňují těkavé látky, které je možné následně analyzovat pomocí hmotnostní spektrometrie či infračervené spektrometrie. Zde byly měřeny vzorky s různým vlákninovým složením. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda je možné tuto metodu využít pro analýzu těkavých látek, případně porovnat kvalitativní a kvantitativní změnu uvolňovaných látek u různých vzorků papíru a lepenek. Termogravimetrická analýza by pak mohla být levnější alternativou vůči analýze těkavých látek pomocí mikroextrakce na tuhou fázi ve spojení s plynovou chromatografií.

The theme of the article is castle restoration in Slovakia. The article is focused on methodology of restoration used in castle restoration and on determinants that affects its selection.
The research is mapping development of castle restorations on the territory of present day Slovakia. Article introduces characteristical castle restoration waves. Castle restoration begins in late 18. century, trough monument restoration institutionalization in 19. century and characteristical restoration decades in 20. century, until present day trends.
Preliminary results of field research show specifics of current castle restoration in comparison with pervious castle restoration waves. Quantity of currently restored castles demanded strictly conservative approach, which has no equivalent in Slovakia monument restoration history.
Typical Slovakia castle restoration representatives for each restoration wave are introduced in this article. Each chosen castle represents the use of one method of restoration.
The aim of the study is to sum and evaluate implemented choosen castle restorations in Slovakia.

Analytická sonda – priestor pre tvorivosť?

The method of analytical presentation (MAP) has become recently the object of a great discussion.
Nowadays, its use is questionable, since one prefers the unity of a face heritage and one maximizes the effort to keeping an object’s substance. The MAP has a long tradition in our territory, where it is supported by the quality and methodologically completed realization. Any scholar has not devoted their work to the MAP globally neither from the methodological point of view nor the creative point of view. The goal of this thesis is to point out the fact that the high quality restoration together with presenting old developmental periods has a high documentary value. Naturally, it is necessary to také into account the fact that it is implemented on selected and stylistically heterogeneous objects while it is not used programmatically and area‐wide. The showpiece’s documentary value is a significant factor during the searching own roots, building the national identity in the current globalized world.
The contribution acquaints with the created methodological system, which should be helpful for a mutual communication between an architect and a methodical worker. One of the goals of the author´s dissertation thesis was the creation of mentioned system. Needless to say that the creation of a rendering of an analytical probe could be the object of a creative process and it does not have to be its limit.

Vliv relativní vlhkosti na vlastnosti křemičitého gelu

Konsolidanty na bázi esterů kyseliny křemičité jsou v hojné míře využívány pro zpevňování zdegradovaných stavebních památek. Tyto konsolidanty jsou připravovány metodou sol‐gel. Výsledný křemičitý gel zajišťuje v materiálu dodatečnou pevnost. Obecně známým problém těchto gelů je jejich smrštivost a popraskání způsobené tvorbou a zráním gelu. Cílem práce bylo zjistit vliv relativní vlhkosti vzduchu na tvorbu gelu a vzniku první praskliny v gelu.

Studium faktorů ovlivňujících schnutí připravených olejových barev

V našem výzkumu jsme se zabývali studiem faktorů ovlivňujících schnutí připravených modelových vzorků olejových barev zejména v závislosti na proměnném složení těchto směsí. Jako pojivo pro přípravu olejových barev byl použit za studena lisovaný lněný olej, jako pigmenty byly použity dvě syntetické organické sloučeniny ze skupiny anthrachinonů a isoindolinů. Pro sledování změn u vzorků jsme využili zejména metody chronogravimetrie a infračervené spektroskopie. Schnutí připravených směsí jsme konfrontovali s chováním modelových vzorků obsahujících anorganické pigmenty a s chováním komerčně dostupných olejových a restaurátorských barev užívaných ve výtvarné a restaurátorské praxi.
