Analýza štípané industrie z mladoneolitického sídliště v Lochenicích

The presented diploma thesis presents the procedures and results of the analysis, carried out on an unpublished set of 3158 pieces of chipped industry, which has not yet been part of the rescue archaeological research, carried out on the area of the D11 highway near Lochenice (Hradec Králové district). The examined area had the designation D11-06-6B within the sectional division. Currently, it is the most extensive processed collection from the entire Czech basin, which belongs to the IV. phase of Stroked Pottery culture. Předkládaná diplomová práce prezentuje postupy a výsledky analýzy, provedené na dosud nepublikovaném souboru 3158 ks štípané industrie, který byl získán v rámci záchranného archeologického výzkumu, uskutečněného v ploše trasy tělesa dálnice D11 u Lochenic (okr. Hradec Králové). Zkoumaná plocha měla v rámci úsekového členění označení D11-06-6B. V současnosti jde o nejrozsáhlejší zpracovaný soubor z celé české kotliny, který náleží do IV. fáze kultury s vypíchanou keramikou.

The study of artificial active matter has significantly intensified in recent years due to its potential practical applications and promises to understand living organisms' in- teractions and collective behaviour. The research is done on all levels - experimental, theoretical, and numerical. This thesis presents a numerical simulation approach based on solving partial differential equations from the continuum mechanics framework. The results obtained can be used to predict the dynamics and thermodynamics of the system or serve as input data for stochastic simulations. Using this approach, it is also possible to simulate actual laboratory experiments numerically. 1 V posledních letech se významně zintenzivnil výzkum umělé aktivní hmoty pro její potenciální praktické využití a příslib pochopení interakcí a kolektivního chování živých organismů. Výzkum je prováděn na všech úrovních - experimentální, teoretické a num- erické. Tato práce představuje přístup pomocí numerických simulací založený na řešení parciálních diferenciálních rovnic pocházejících z rámce mechaniky kontinua. Získané výsledky mohou být použity k předpovědi dynamiky a termodynamiky systému nebo mohou sloužit jako vstupní data pro stochastické simulace. Pomocí tohoto přístupu je rovněž možné simulovat skutečné laboratorní experimenty numericky. 1

Terahertzová vodivost nositelů náboje v polovodičích

In this thesis, we investigate the conductivity spectra of samples of weakly doped gal- lium arsenide in the terahertz region as a function of temperature. These are silicon-doped gallium arsenide of type N and zinc-doped gallium arsenide of type P. The temperature dependence in the terahertz region for these materials has not yet been described in the literature. We observe conductivity maxima corresponding to the admixture energies in the forbidden band. We use the Drude-Lorentz model to process the data. We achieve a good fit of the measured data. The carrier concentration at room temperature corre- sponds to the nominal value. The relaxation time and high-frequency permittivity match the tabulated values. The oscillator frequency for the N type approximately matches the admixture energy. For the P type, this value is outside the measured range and only the rise to this maximum is seen. 1 V této práci zkoumáme spektra vodivosti vzorků slabě dotovaného galium arsenidu v terahertzové oblasti v závislosti na teplotě. Jedná se o křemíkem dotovaný Galium arsenid typu N a zinkem dotovaný galium arsenid typu P. Teplotní závislost v terahert- zové oblasti pro tyto materiály nebyla dosud v literatuře popsána. Pozorujeme maxima vodivosti, která odpovídají energiím příměsových hladin v zakázeném pásu. Ke zpraco- vání dat využíváme Drude-Lorentzův model. Dosáhli jsme dobrého fitu naměřených dat. Koncentrace nositelů při pokojové teplotě odpovídá nominální hodnotě. Relaxační čas a vysokofrekvenční permitivita odpovídají tabelovaným hodnotám. Frekvence oscilátoru pro N typ přibližně odpovídá energii příměsové hladiny. Pro P typ je tato hodnota mimo měřený rozsah a vidíme pouze stoupání k tomuto maximu. 1

Geometrická zobrazení ve středoškolské matematice

The current availability of computers and mobile devices in school facilities and the affordability of mobile devices for everyone provide for an increasing use of interactive geometry in the curriculum. The aim of this thesis is to summarize the printed and electronic resources used for teaching geometry, to study them in detail and to use them to build an electronic textbook and a collection of exercises in interactive geometry environment. GeoGebra is used among the interactive geometry environments, mainly because it offers the greatest variability for the purposes of this publication. The electronic publication can be used by both students and their teachers. Electronic publications were an essential part of the Czech education system during the period of compulsory distance education in years 2020 and 2021. The thesis includes a short questionnaire survey that aims to find out what textbooks or exercise collections are being used by teachers, what transformations are taught in secondary schools and to what extent. The results show that among teachers specific printed textbooks and collections are still more popular than interactive resources. Keywords: geometric transformations, rotation, translation, homothety, GeoGebra Současná vybavenost školských zařízení a cenová dostupnost mobilních zařízení umožňuje stále vyšší míru využití dynamických prostředí při výuce geometrie. Cílem práce je shrnutí používaných zdrojů pro výuku, jejich podrobné nastudování a s jejich pomocí sestavení elektronické učebnice a sbírky příkladů v dynamickém prostředí. Z dynamických prostředí je využita GeoGebra, která pro potřeby této publikace nabízí největší variabilitu. Elektronická publikace je určená pro studenty i jejich učitele. Elektronické učební podklady byly nezbytnou součástí českého školství při období povinné distanční výuky v letech 2020 a 2021. Součástí práce je krátké dotazníkové šetření, které si klade za cíl zjistit, jaké učebnice či sbírky jsou využívány, jaká zobrazení a kdy jsou na středních školách vyučovány a v jakém rozsahu. Výsledky ukazují, že mezi učiteli jsou stále oblíbenější konkrétní tištěné učebnice a sbírky a využití elektronických zdrojů není rozšířeno mezi všechny učitele. This thesis discusses loci of points. The thesis is constructed as a website which should assist mathematic education in primary schools and especially high schools. The thesis revises loci of points, which is taught in schools. Apart from that, it covers the extensive topic of loci of points and conic sections defined with the help of centers of circles with specified characteristics. The website is enhanced by interactive elements, such as applets and step-by-step exercises, which help understand the topic of discussion. 1 Tato diplomová práce se zabývá množinami bodů dané vlastnosti. Práce má formu webových stránek, které by měly pomoci při výuce matematiky na zá- kladní a zejména střední škole. Součástí diplomové práce je připomenutí množin bodů dané vlastnosti probíraných ve školské matematice. Kromě toho pokrývá rozšiřující téma množiny bodů a kuželosečky definované pomocí středů kružnic dané vlastnosti. Webové stránky jsou doplněny interaktivními prvky, jako jsou například applety a krokované konstrukční úlohy, které napomáhají pochopení probírané látky. 1

Discourse analysis of Tariq Ramadan

The thesis explores Ṭariq Ramaḍan, a significant Muslim intellectual primarily active in Europe, where he has long been engaged in the issues of Islam in European context. His erudition, charisma, and earned reputation as a mediator between Islam and secularism have brought him great social and academic influence but have also allowed him to actively participate within the sphere of European politics. However, on a global scale, Ramaḍan is a controversial figure, with his critics pointing out that he presents rather inconsistent opinions and adjusts his discourse based on his current audience whereby trying to appeal to both Muslims and non-Muslims, which raises doubts about his true beliefs and intentions. Through content analysis of his official website, the student has examined and compared Ramaḍan's statements in Arabic and English, representing his discourse towards both Muslim and non- Muslim audiences. The focus was laid on the most controversial topics, namely stoning and the role of women in society. The analysis has revealed that Ramaḍan's statements in Arabic and English are indeed inconsistent. In the conclusion, the student proposes possible reasons and intentions for Ramaḍan's choice of inconsistent discourse, drawing from knowledge about Ramaḍan's background but also the... Práca pojednáva o Ṭāriqovi Ramaḍānovi, významnom muslimskom intelektuálovi, ktorý pôsobí hlavne v Európe, kde sa dlhodobo zaoberá problematikou islamu v Európe. Jeho erudícia, charizma a povesť prostredníka medzi islamom a sekularizmom mu umožnili pôsobiť, okrem sféry spoločenskej a akademickej, aj na úrovni európskej politiky. Ramaḍān je však v globálnom merítku kontroverznou osobnosťou a jeho kritici upozorňujú na to, že jeho názory nie sú jednotné a svoj diskurz prispôsobuje svojmu publiku v snahe osloviť európskych muslimov aj nemuslimov čo vyvoláva otázky o jeho skutočných názoroch a zámeroch. Obsahovou analýzou jeho oficiálnej internetovej stránky študentka priblížila a porovnala Ramaḍānove vyjadrenia v arabčine a angličtine, ktoré reprezentujú jeho diskurz voči muslimskému a nemuslimskému publiku. Zamerala sa na najviac kontroverzné témy, a to kameňovanie a postavenie žien v spoločnosti. Analýzou bolo zistené, že Ramaḍānove vyjadrenia v arabčine a angličtine skutočne nie sú jednotné. V závere práce študentka navrhuje možné dôvody a zámery, pre ktoré volí Ramaḍān nejednotný diskurz, pričom vychádza zo znalostí pozadia Ramaḍānovho života ale aj zo znalostí islamu, ktorý, podľa nej, hrá v tejto problematike kľúčovú rolu. - - The Grimm's fairy tales are considered to be of the same importance as ancient myth or biblical form. A revision allows for the "original" text to tales' problematic associations with the patriarchal and heteronormative traditions and insist tale adaptations: Anne Sexton's (1971), Olga Broumas's (1977) and Emma Donoghue's examines the authors' distinctive revisionist practices - - Klíčová slova: Pohádky, Revizionismus, Transformace, Feminismus, Poezie, Anne Sexton, Olga Broumas, Emma Donoghue Diplomová práce pojednává rozmanité způsoby, jimiž tři anglofonní autorky a představitelky tří literárních generací, Anne Sexton (1928-1974), Olga Broumas (nar. 1949) a Emma Donoghue (nar. 1969), přistupují k přetváření klasických pohádek. Zkoumané básnické i prozaické revize, jejichž kořeny lze vysledovat až k ústně tradovaným verzím tradičních pohádek, sebraných a kanonizovaných bratry Grimmy, posunují hranice literárních forem, žánrů a narativních struktur. Pojednávané autorky podtrhují multiplicitu a proměnlivý charakter těchto známých příběhů, postav a rozuzlení, čímž zpochybňují různé společenské a kulturní normy. Všechny také staví do popředí tvůrčí sílu jazyka jako takového a oživují tak literární diskurz a rozšiřují možnosti lyrické poezie, respektive narativní prózy. Pohádky bratří Grimmů mají v západní kulturní tradici podobný význam jako antický mýtus nebo biblická ikonografie. Společně tvoří kánon, který nejenže obstál ve zkoušce času, ale je i nadále konfrontován a revidován autory (a zejména autorkami) z různých míst a časových období. The objective of this thesis is to analyse the employee engagement among IT sector employees and to identify the specifics of the target group in relation to the development of employee engagement through job-related drivers. Attention is given to the theoretical background of employee engagement, its consequences, and methods of measurement. Aspects of employee engagement development with a focus on job-related drivers are analysed. The HR process of job design, which can contribute to the development of employee engagement through the job-related factors, is described. The specificities of the target group of IT professionals are addressed. The thesis includes a quantitative research conducted in the form of an online questionnaire. The respondents of the research are IT professionals working in private companies based in Prague. The aim of the quantitative research is to analyse the relationship between employee engagement and two job-related drivers that contribute to its development among employees in the IT sector in the Czech Republic. The relationship between employee engagement and autonomy in work activities and the relationship between employee engagement and feedback on work performance are examined. Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat zaměstnaneckou angažovanost pracovníků v IT sektoru a identifikovat specifika cílové skupiny ve vztahu k budování zaměstnanecké angažovanosti prostřednictvím pracovních faktorů. Pozornost je věnována teoretickým východiskům zaměstnanecké angažovanosti, jejím dopadům a způsobům měření. Analyzovány jsou aspekty budování zaměstnanecké angažovanosti s důrazem na pracovní faktory. Popsán je personální proces vytváření pracovních míst, pomocí kterého lze přispívat k rozvoji zaměstnanecké angažovanosti prostřednictvím pracovních faktorů. Postihnuta jsou specifika cílové skupiny IT profesionálů. Práce obsahuje kvantitativní šetření, které bylo provedeno pomocí online dotazníku. Respondenty šetření jsou pracovníci v IT sektoru působící v soukromých společnostech se sídlem v Praze. Cílem empirického šetření je analyzovat vzájemný vztah zaměstnanecké angažovanosti a dvou pracovních faktorů, které přispívají k jejímu budování, u pracovníků v IT sektoru v České republice. Zkoumán je vztah mezi zaměstnaneckou angažovaností a autonomií v pracovní činnosti a vztah mezi zaměstnaneckou angažovaností a zpětnou vazbou na pracovní výkon. The topic of this thesis is a literary genre called the poem in prose which comes from France from the nineteenth century. At the beginning of the thesis the genre is introduced and typical features of this genre are explained and also the beginnings of this genre in France and in Spain are presented. The main part of the thesis is an analysis of three books which are supposed to be examples of this genre. First, Platero y yo written by Juan Ramón Jiménez, second, Impresiones y paisajes from Federico García Lorca and, third, Ocnos by Luis Cernuda. The aim of the thesis is try to decide whether the books belong to the genre or not and why and describe how lyrical effect is achieved on a reader, and at last place, what topics are presented in books. Na začátku práce bude tento žánr představen, bude vysvětleno, jaké jsou typické znaky tohoto žánru a budou popsány jeho počátky ve Francii a ve Španělsku. Hlavní částí práce bude rozbor vybraných děl, která jsou považována za ukázky tohoto žánru. Jako první bude rozebráno dílo Platero y yo od Juana Ramóna Jiméneze, dále pak Impresiones y paisajes od Federica Garcíi Lorcy a Ocnos od Luise Cernudy. Cílem práce bude pokusit se určit, zda jde skutečně o básně v próze, a popsat, jakým způsobem dosahují lyrického účinku na čtenáře a jakým se věnují tématům. This diploma thesis deals with the theme of motherhood in the poetry of Sylvia Plath. The main objective of the thesis is to explore how pregnancy, childlessness, and motherhood are understood by Plath in her poetry. I show how she transposed her thoughts and experiences of maternity into it and identify the main influencing outside factors. The poetry will be studied and read from a biographical, sociocultural, and feminist standpoint. Studies of motherhood and domesticity in the United States, predominantly by Betty Friedan and Glenna Matthews, will be analyzed in order to offer a general context within which Plath created her poetry and to demonstrate how she contested the idealized perception of motherhood at the time. To understand women's writing in a male-dominated literary canon and the ways in which Plath fought back against the language and archetypes imposed on her, demystifying motherhood in the process, feminist literary studies, predominantly The Madwoman in the Attic by Sandra Gilbert and Susan Gubar will be consulted. The thesis will consist of four chapters: the first chapter will deal with biographical occurrences in Plath's life, covering known life events recorded in The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath and Letters Home relevant to the topic at hand. The second chapter will... Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem mateřství v poezii Sylvie Plathové. Hlavním cílem této práce je prozkoumat, jak Plathová ve své poezii chápe těhotenství, bezdětnost a mateřství, ukázat, jak do ní promítá své vlastní myšlenky a zkušenosti s mateřstvím, a identifikovat hlavní ovlivňující vnější faktory. Poezie bude analyzována a čtena z biografického, sociokulturního a feministického hlediska. Mimo jiné budou použity zejména studie Betty Friedanové a Glenny Matthewsové o mateřství a domesticitě ve Spojených státech a o měnící se politické a sociokulturní situaci v padesátých letech minulého století pro přiblížení obecného kontextu, v němž Plathová svou poezii tvořila, a porozumění tomu, jak vnímala a zpochybňovala tehdejší idealizované vnímání mateřství.
