2020 - Czech The aim of the measurement was to verify the feasibility of 3D computed tomography for observing structural details in samples of B4C - Ti ceramics with 1 % of Ti. Sample designated Sps_025: Keramika B4C + 1Ti, 1800°C, 2 min, in the form a cylinder with the diameter of 12 mm and the height of 10 mm was investigated by this method. Cílem práce bylo ověřit možnost pozorování stukturních detailů ve vzorcích B4C - Ti keramiky s 1 % titanu na základě 3D modelů z výpočetní tomografie. V laboratoři byl touto metodou zkoumán vzorek Sps_025: Keramika B4C + 1Ti, 1800°C, 2 min, ve tvaru válce o průměru 12 mm a výšce 10 mm. SEM-EDS characterization of building materials sampled from Slapy waterwork

2020 - Czech Within the construction-technical survey framework, a microscopic analysis of historical concrete samples was performed using a scanning electron microscope and SEM-EDS analysis. Characterization of mortar components, determination of concrete degradation degree, and identification of chemical corrosion products. The results of the survey work were used as a basis for the reconstruction project. V rámci stavebně-technického průzkumu byl proveden mikroskopický rozbor vzorků historického betonu s využitím skenovacího elektronového mikroskopu a SEM‐EDS analýzy. Byla provedena charakterizace plniva a složek pojiva malt, určení stupně degradace betonu a identifikace produktů chemické koroze. Distribution of the external wind pressure coefficients on the surface of the façade of the high‐rise building "KINEUM" determined from the wind tunnel measurements

2019 - English The report describes the procedure and results of the measurements of aerodynamic model of the planned high-rise building in Gothenburg in Sweden. The determined wind pressure distribution on individual surfaces of the building for several wind directions are presented in the form of external pressure coefficients. The obtained pressure coefficients are subsequently used by the client for the design of façade elements loaded by the wind. Large-area scans of paintings with high resolution

2019 - Czech The aim of the measurement was to obtain the radiographs from historical paintings from the Faculty of Restoration of the University Pardubice. Due to the dimensions of the paintings (up to 90 x 110 cm) it was necessary to develop a suitable measurement procedure for successive scanning of the paintings in the TORATOM device. The resulting data are important for the planning of the restoration processes of the paintings and can help to discover otherwise invisible details, like underpaintings etc. Cílem měření bylo získat radiografická data z historických maleb, zapůjčených Fakultou restaurování Univerzity Pardubice. Vzhledem k rozměru obrazů (až 90 × 110 cm) bylo třeba vytvořit vhodnou měřicí proceduru pro postupné skenování pláten v zařízení TORATOM. Výsledná data mají význam pro plánování restaurátorských prací na obrazech a mohou pomoci odhalit jinak neviditelné detaily v malbách, např. podmalby apod. Tomographical investigation of the historical metal bracelets

2019 - Czech The work was focused on the method definition for the investigation of historical metal artifacts employing the X-ray tomography. Two metal bracelets made of brass and plated with silver were investigated in the laboratory. The goal was to determine the technology of manufacturing and damages, possible also to visualize the silver layer. Práce byla zaměřena na vytvoření metodiky využívající rentgenové (RTG) tomografické zobrazování pro průzkumy historických artefaktů na bázi kovů. V laboratoři byly touto metodou zkoumány dva kovové náramky z mosazi s postříbřeným povrchem. Průzkum byl proveden za účelem odhalení technologie výroby a případných poškození, případně řešení napojení stříbrné vrstvy.
