Reduction of planktonic cynobacterial blooms: summarization of methods

The aim of this work is to sumarize methods and procedures how to eliminate cyanobacterial blooms in reservoirs. The first part of the work is focused on nutrient polution and possibilities how to reduce it. The second part deal with the nutrient reduction on the inflow of water to the reservoir and the thirth part deal with methods and procedures in reservoir water body. Discussed is mainly: coagulation of cyanobacteria, reduction of nutrient concentration by bilogical agents, use of algicides, biomanipulation, physical methods etc. Tato práce shrnuje všechny nejdůležitější metody a postupy, jak bojovat proti vodním květům sinic ve vodních nádržích. První část pojednává o zdrojích znečištění živinami a možnostech, jak toto znečištění eliminovat. Druhá část je věnována redukci živin na přítocích do nádrže a třetí, nejobsáhlejší, se věnuje již konkrétním zásahům přímo ve vodním tělese nádrže. Diskutovány jsou především tyto metody omezení rozvoje sinic: koagulace sinic z vodního sloupce, redukce koncentrace fosforu pomocí biopreparátů, využití cyanocidních a cyanostatických látek, biomanipulace, fyzikální metody a atd.

This work focus on possibilities how to reduce cyanobacterial blooms by ecological compounds with emphases on biodegradable algicides, natural products, coagulants and biological preparations for reduction of nutrients in sediment. Their ecological implications and utilisation for water bodies is discussed too. Práce se zaměřuje na možnosti omezení masového rozvoje sinic pomocí ekologicky akceptovatelných přípravků. Důraz je kladen především na biologicky rozložitelné algicidní přípravky, přírodní látky, koagulanty a biologické preparáty pro redukci živin v sedimentech nádrže. Diskutovány jsou hlavně ekologické důsledky jejich aplikace a použitelnost pro různé typy nádrží.
