Das Zusammenleben von Tschechen und Deutschen auf dem Gebiet Südböhmens in der Zwischenkriegszeit

2022 - German This thesis deals with a topic that predates the controversial events of the expulsion of the Sudeten Germans. It is one of the chapters of Czech-German coexistence, which influenced and co-shaped the development in the Czech and Moravian lands for a long time. The topic chosen for this work is the coexistence of Czechs and Germans during the period of the Czechoslovak First Republic, which was strongly influenced by the Munich Agreement in the autumn of 1938. In my thesis I focused on the initial and final stages of the newly established state. The attitude of Germans living in the Czech lands towards the new Czechoslovak state and its very creation was examined, as well as the attitude of Czech society towards the German minority, which in the early days tended to refuse to participate in the state under Czech rule. In my work I have tried to summarize at least some of the conditions of the coexistence under study and its historical development, as well as the events of the last pre-war years, especially the dramatic year 1938, which ended with the withdrawal of the German-occupied borderlands. Tato práce pojednává o tématu, které časově předchází dodnes kontroverzním událostem odsunu sudetských Němců. Jedná se o jednu z kapitol česko-německého soužití, které po dlouhou dobu ovlivňovalo a spoluutvářelo vývoj v českých a moravských zemích. Tématem, vybraným pro tuto práci je soužití Čechů a Němců v období československé první republiky, které bylo silně ovlivněno mnichovskou dohodou na podzim roku 1938. Ve své práci jsem se zaměřil na počáteční a závěrečnou etapu nově vzniklého státu. Zkoumán byl přístup Němců žijících v českých zemích k novému československému státu a k jeho samotnému vzniku, stejně tak jako přístup české společnosti vůči německé menšině, která se v počátcích spíše odmítala zapojit do dění ve státu pod vládou Čechů. Ve své práci jsem se snažil shrnout alespoň některé podmínky zkoumaného soužití a jeho historický vývoj, dále události posledních předválečných let, zejména pak dramatický rok 1938 zakončený odstoupením Němci obývaného pohraničí. 2022 - German The aim of this thesis is the translation and analysis of a scientific text in the field of sociology. The theoretical part of the thesis outlines the basic concepts of translation theory, the role of the translator, translation types and methods that are important for the production of a translation. Last but not least, the characteristic features of professional style in the source language (German) and, contrastively, in the target language (Czech) are examined. The practical part consists mainly of the actual translation of a longer text in the field of sociology, which has not yet been published in Czech, and an analysis of the translation, which points out various problems in translation work with specialized language, comments on problematic areas from the perspective of lexical and morphosyntactic level and suggests various ways of solving them. The work also includes a German-Czech glossary consisting of professional sociological terms and expressions that are central for the text. Cílem této diplomové práce je překlad a analýza vědeckého textu z oblasti sociologie. V teoretické části práce jsou nastíněny základní pojmy teorie překladu, role překladatele, překladatelské typy a metody, které jsou pro zhotovení překladu důležité. V neposlední řadě jsou zkoumány charakteristické rysy odborného stylu jak ve zdrojovém jazyce (němčina), tak kontrastivně i v jazyce cílovém (čeština). Část praktická sestává především ze samotného překladu delšího textu z oblasti sociologie, který dosud v češtině nevyšel, a analýzy překladu, která upozorňuje na různá úskalí při překladatelské práci s odborným jazykem, komentuje problematická místa z pohledu lexikální a morfosyntaktické roviny a navrhuje různé způsobu jejich řešení. Součástí práce je rovněž německo-český glosář složený z odborných sociologických termínů a výrazů, které jsou pro text stěžejní. 2022 - German This bachelor thesis deals with issue of modality and its expression in German and Czech. The theoretical part is describing modality in both languages. These chapters deal with describing and defining German and Czech particles. There are introduced mainly modal particles that are the most important for this topic. The end of the theoretical part dedicates to express modality, modal verbs, and modal words. The Empirical part of bachelor thesis is formed by contrastive analysis of three chosen modal particles - eben, etwa and bloß. The basis for analysis was the parallel corpus Intercorp, from which documentary proofs for the above particles in German and Czech were randomly generated. On examples are introduced Czech equivalents corresponding with analysed German particles. At the end the results of contrastive analysis are compared with the equivalents of German modal particles that offer selected Czech translation dictionaries. Tato práce se zabývá problematikou modality a jejího vyjádření v němčině a češtině. Úvodní teoretická část popisuje modalitu v obou jazycích. Tyto kapitoly se zaměřují na vymezení a definici německých i českých částic, jsou zde představeny především modální částice, které jsou pro toto téma stěžejní. Závěr teoretické části se věnuje vyjádření modality, modálním slovesům a modálním slovům. Empirická část bakalářské práce je tvořena kontrastivní analýzou třech vybraných modálních částic - eben, etwa a bloß. Základem pro tuto analýzu byl paralelní korpus Intercorp, z něhož byly náhodně vygenerovány doklady pro výše uvedené částice v němčině a v češtině. Na příkladech jsou představeny české ekvivalenty odpovídající zkoumaným německým částicím. Na závěr jsou výsledky kontrastivní analýzy porovnány s ekvivalenty německých modálních částic, jež nabízí vybrané české překladové slovníky. 2022 - German There are many possibilities in the German language how to direct one's statement either on the originator of the happenings or on the happenings themselves. In this Bachelor thesis one of such possibilities will be examined, that puts the originator of the happenings in the background and puts the focus on the happenings, namely the infinitive construction gelten + zu-Infinitiv, which serves as a paraphrase for the passive voice. For that will be used the Deutsches Referenzkorpus, based on which a detailed analysis of selected 300 examples will be conducted. V němčině existuje mnoho způsobů, jak lze vyjádřit původce děje, anebo se soustředit na děj jako takový. V této bakalářské práci bude zkoumána jedna z těch možností, které nekladou důraz na agens, ale soustředí se na samotné dění. Jmenovitě jde o infinitivní konstrukci gelten + zu-Infinitiv, která slouží jako jedna z parafrází pro vyjádření pasiva. Pro tento výzkum bude využit Deutsches Referenzkorpus (DeReKo), na jehož základě bude provedena podrobná analýza 300 vybraných dokladů. 2021 - German This thesis aims to analyze how the media presented events during the 1989 revolutions in Germany and former Czechoslovakia, as well as the influence that these events maintain on present-day media. The first objective is to offer a historical contextualization for interpreting how the Czech media report on current events in Germany. This includes which topics surrounding the 1989 revolution are addressed by the Czech media, and to which degree they posit the role of the Cold War, concluded by the fall of the Berlin Wall, on shaping the current state of Germany. Furthermore, the second objective is to evaluate how the German media perceive these historical events and how that perception influences the interpretation of current situations in the Czech Republic. This research mainly considers political, social and economic aspects. To ensure a comprehensive monograph, an introduction into the historical context as well as a brief description of relevant media sources is included. The thesis is concluded with a short reflection essay. Předmětem práce je analýza mediální prezentace událostí revolučního roku 1989 v Německu a bývalém Československu. Cílem je zjistit, jak česká média pojednávají o současné situaci vNěmecku sohledem na historický kontext, kterými tématy se v souvislosti s revolucí v roce 1989 zabývají, a do jaké míry spojují podobu dnešního Německa s vlivem, který na něj měl výsledek studené války, tedy revoluce, která byla završena pádem zdi. Analogicky k této studii bude ve stejném smyslu zkoumána německá mediální scéna a její pohled na aktuální dějství v České republice. Hlavní aspekty výzkumu tvoří sektory politické, společenské a ekonomické. K celistvému výkladu patří úvod do historického kontextu, v závěrečné části je mimo krátkou úvahu autorky o zjištěných poznatcích k dispozici stručná deskripce použitých médií, která má zaručit kompaktní charakter diplomové práce. 2021 - German The diploma thesis deals with Czech contemporary female authors who focus on Czech-German relations in the 20th century and are engaged in the German-speaking area. These are Katerina Tuckova, Radka Denemarkova and Jakuba Katalpa. Each of the authors approaches the Czech-German topics with different motivations and brings a new perspective on the issue, as evidenced by a detailed analysis of the novels The Expulsion of Gerta Schnirch, Money from Hitler and The Germans. The aim of the work is to create three distinctive portraits and to name the same and different tendencies of the mentioned authors. Attention is focused on their biography, social activities and opinions, which are necessary for understanding the context. Diplomová práce pojednává o českých současných autorkách, které se literárně zabývají česko-německými vztahy 20. století a angažují se v německy mluvícím prostoru. Jedná se o Kateřinu Tučkovou, Radku Denemarkovou a Jakubu Katalpu. Každá z autorek zpracovává česko-německá témata s odlišnou motivací a přináší na problematiku nový pohled, což dokazuje detailní analýza románů Vyhnání Gerty Schnirch, Peníze od Hitlera a Němci. Cílem práce je vytvořit tři osobité portréty a pojmenovat shodné i rozdílné tendence zmíněných autorek. Pozornost se soustředí na jejich biografii, společenské aktivity a názory, které jsou pro pochopení kontextu nezbytné. 2021 - German The topic of this bachelor thesis is Winged words in German, Czech and English and their usage in the text. The theoretical part deals with some basic terms that are related to phraseology, characteristics of phraseological expressions and classification of phraseological expressions. The practical part introduces German winged words and their Czech and English counterparts. Subsequently, based on the types of equivalence established by Helgunde Henschel (1993), the winged words are put into different groups, depending on the extent of equivalence between their German phrasing and their Czech and/or English phrasing. The practical part also deals with selected German winged words. It will explain what exactly it is that makes their Czech and/or English phrasing different from the German one, it will explain their origin, their meaning and also how they and their English and Czech equivalents are used in the text. Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o tématu Okřídlená slova v němčině, češtině a angličtině a jejich užití v textu. Teoretická část pojednává o základních pojmech z oblasti frazeologie, vlastnostech frazeologismů a o klasifikaci frazeologismů. V praktické části jsou shromážděna německá okřídlená slova spolu s jejich českými a anglickými ekvivalenty. Následně jsou okřídlená slova rozdělena do různých skupin, a to dle míry ekvivalence mezi jejich německým zněním a jejich českým a/nebo anglickým zněním, čemuž coby základ posloužilo vymezení stupňů ekvivalence Helgundou Henschelovou (1993). Dále je v praktické části pozornost věnována vybraným německým okřídleným slovům, přesněji řečeno tomu, v čem přesně tkví rozdíl mezi německým zněním a zněním českým a/nebo anglickým, dále také jejich významu a tomu, jak jsou ona i jejich anglické a české ekvivalenty užívány v textu.
