Methodology of predatory fish quantification in reservoirs and lakes.

The publication contains an evaluation of surveying 36 reservoirs and artificial lakes in the years 1985–2020 in different parts of the Czech Republic by four sampling methods, which are further divided according to the sampling environment, daily periods and targeted age groups of predatory fish. The methods are gillnets, seines, trawls and continuous boat electrofishing. The catchability, standardized and relative abundance of asp, pikeperch, pike and catfish are evaluated. Based on these data, the reader can decide which method to use to detect a particular predatory species and compare the results with the situation in other localities. Publikace obsahuje vyhodnoceni průzkumů 36 nádrží a umělých jezer v letech 1985–2020 v různých částech České republiky čtyřmi dolovnými metodami, které jsou dále členěny podle vzorovaného prostředí, denní periody a cílové věkové skupiny dravých ryb. Jedná se o tetanové, zátahové a vlečné sítě a kontinuální elektrolov z lodi. Vyhodnocena je ulovitelnost, standardizovaná a relativní početnost bolena dravého, candáta obecného, štiky obecné a sumce velkého. Na základě těchto údajů se čtenář může rozhodnout, kterou metodu použit k detekci konkrétního dravého druhu v danem prostředí a zjištěné výsledky porovnat se stavem na jiných lokalitách.

Complex survey of the fish stock of Lake Chabařovice in 2020.

Aim of the complex ichthyological survey of Lake Chabařovice was to map the current state and succession of lake’s fish stock with particular emphasis put on abundance and biomass estimates of all fish species, evaluation of possible risks to the further development of the fish stock and recommendations for the lake management. Summarization of achieved results and recommendations for further monitoring are included in the presented report. Cílem ichtyologického průzkumu jezera Chabařovice bylo zmapování stavu a vývoje rybí obsádky, přičemž důraz byl kladen zejména na odhad početnosti a biomasy jednotlivých druhů ryb, na odhad rizik dalšího vývoje rybí obsádky a doporučení dalšího obhospodařování jezera. Sumarizace dosažených výsledků a návrh doporučení pro další sledování jsou obsahem předkládané zprávy.

Cílem studie bylo provedení průzkum ichtyofauny jezera Laka a propojených toků. Zjištěné výsledky včetně jejich hodnocení jsou obsahem zprávy.

It contains information on the number of individual species, their population recruitment, age composition and distribution. It also contains conclusions and recommendations for management measures. Zpráva shrnuje výsledky komplexního průzkumu rubí obsádky nádrže Lipno v r. 2019. Obsahuje informace o množství jednotlivých druhu, jejich populačním doplňku, věkovém složení a distribuci. Obsahuje též závěry a doporučení pro hospodářská opatření.

Hydroacoustic assessment of the fish stock in Lake Balaton in 2019.

The presented report summurizes results of hydroacoustic surveys in Lake Balaton, including both littoral and open-water regions in all three basins of the lake. The report is describing the spatial distribution and size-composition of the fish stock in Lake Balaton in autumn 2019. The results are presented in terms of fish density, biomass and fish size distribution for particular hydroacoustic transects and lake basins. In the report are summarized all available data from previous hydroacoustic surveys and the development of fish stock is discussed. Předkládaná zpráva sumarizuje výsledky hydroakustického průzkumu jezera Balaton. Průzkum zahrnoval litorální i pelagické habitaty v rámci všech 3 částí jezera. Zpráva popisuje prostorovou distribuci a velikostni slozeni rybi obsádky jezera Balaton na podzim 2019. Výsledky jsou prezentovány jako hustota ryb, jejich biomasa a velikostní složení pro jednotlivé transekty hydroakustického průzkumu i souhrně pro jednotlivé části jezera. Zpráva také shrnuje veškerá dostupná data z předchozích průzkumů jezera a diskutuje vývoj obsádky jezera Balaton.

The methodology describes the optimization of the molecular diagnostic method of Pectobacterium atrosepticum and Dickeya solani based on real-time PCR and SybrGreen real-time PCR, including sample preparation, DNA isolation, specificity control and evaluation. Metodika popisuje optimalizaci molekulární metody diagnostiky Pectobacterium atrosepticum a Dickeya solani založené na real-time PCR a SybrGreen real-time PCR včetně přípravy vzorků, izolace DNA, kontroly specificity a vyhodnocení.

The fauna of cambioxylophagous insects on Scots pines at selected localities in the Czech republic

The report summarizes information on cambioxylophagous fauna of Scots pine at selected localities in central Bohemia, Vysočina region and south Moravia. Economic importance of detected species in relation to forest protection is broadly discussed. The report includes comparative tests of pheromone traps baited with dispensers of various producers against bark beetle pests of Scots pines. Zpráva shrnuje informace o složení podkorní fauny borovice lesní na lokalitách ve středních Čechách, na Vysočině a na jižní Moravě. Diskutován je zejména hospodářský význam jednotlivých druhů. Zpráva obsahuje i test odchytových zařízení na bázi feromonových odparníků různých výrobců.
