Effect of Compaction Pressure to the Electrochemical Properties of the Electrodes for Li-S Accumulators

Over the last decade, demand for batteries increased a lot thanks to the wearable devices and electric cars. The current trend in all industries is reducing the size and weight of batteries and increasing their capacity. The demand for even more powerful batteries is often faced with theoretical and practical limits of the technology. Battery industry compared to other industries is just slightly behind and batteries became a limiting factor for technologies.The purpose of this experiment is to describe the impact of compaction pressure on the electrochemical properties of the positive electrode for lithium-sulfur batteries.

Comparison Of Heart Activity Sensing Devices

The goal of this work is comparison of heart activity sensing devices. ECG record cannot be evaluated in the presence of large amounts of muscle noise. Removing this noise is one of the needs for devices success. The discrete wavelet transform is used to separate the useful and noise component. The result is an estimate of SNR for four devices: CorScience, Faros, BiosignalPlux, CardioSignal and a comparison between them. Quality measurement and evaluation indicates that Faros device is the most reliable.

Pseudo-Differential Frequency Filter Using Conveyors

The author of this article deals with the design and analysis of a pseudo-differential filter. This designed filter works in voltage mode and is a second-order low pass filter. The filter uses three current conveyors and four passive elements. The proposed circuit reaches the theoretical values in simulations. The simulation results are displayed by modular and phase characteristics.

The main purpose of this project is to analyse the most common protocols used in the modern vehicles compatible with OBD II specifications and focus on processing acquired diagnostic data. The result of this project is prototype device for vehicle data acquisition. This device is able to send processed data on the external web server via the Internet network. This project is focused on design of telemetric system for radio controlled aircraft. The output of the system will be relevant flight data such as velocity, altitude, direction of flight, rotation or geographical position on the map. Furthermore, the system will be able to check all internal board status parameters. All these parameters will be displayed in real time in the receiving station, which will include voice navigation for landing. Another part of the receiving station will be flight recorder or a database used for registration of particular information and post- flight analysis.
