The problem of rising economical demands of modern methods in materials research of art objects can be overcome by national and European grant systems. Zdá se, že republikové i evropské grantové projekty umožňují překonat problém značné finanční náročnosti moderních metod. Především neinvazivní techniky dnes mají reálnou šanci vstoupit do praxe, což se děje v posledních několika letech s mobilními RTG fluorescenčními spektrometry.

New concept of reference materials according to ISO guides

Development on categorization and nomenclature of reference materials is discussed in relation to new ISO Guides and EU directive IVD MD. Využití referenčních materiálů v laboratorní medicíně má svá specifika. Vyšší stupeň regulace v této oblasti daný existencí směrnice EU IVD MD 98/79/EC přímo ukládá, aby návaznost hodnot kalibrátorů či kontrolních materiálů byla zajištěna stanoveným referenčním měřicím postupem nebo dostupným referenčním materiálem vyššího stupně.

Naples yellow containing Sn in 18th - 19th century: Technological peculiarity or a forgotten pigment ?

Several Pb-containing yellow pigments were used in traditional European painting. Recipes for their production were probably adapted by those for yellow glass and enamel, having been known from antiquity. The popularity of one of them, Naples yellow, PB2Sb2O7, is strictly limited to the period from 17th to 19th century and its actual composition chanced within this period. V tradičním evropském malířství se používalo několik žlutých pigmentů s obsahem olova. Postupy jejich přípravy byly pravděpodobně převzaty z postupů barvení skla a glazur, známých už od starověku. Popularita jednoho z nich, Neapolské žluti, je omezena obdobím od.17 do 19. století, a v průběhu této doby se její složení měnilo. Především její cín obsahující varieta, Pb2Sb2-xSnxO7-x/2, s jasně žlutým až citronovým odstínem, by se měla odlišovat od Neapolské žluti Pb2Sb2O7, která má tmavší, žloutkový odstín. Jejich odlyšný výskyt by mohl přispět k odhadu provenience malířského díla. Ověřujeme metody identifikace těchto dvou různých pigmentů a poprvé popisujeme použití Pb-Sb-Sn žluti ve středoevropské malbě, jednou v obraze z františkánského kostela v Kadani, a pak v polovině 19. století v obrazech dvou autorů z vídeňské Akademie.

Přednáška pojednává o výběru a použití referenčních materiálů v chemické analýze a při zajišťování návaznosti výsledků. Jsou uvedeny i nové definice referenčních materiálů a jejich důsledky.

Pro zavádění nových způsobů tavení existují v současnosti dvě základní cesty např. homogenizace skloviny nebo změna typu či uspořádání ohřevu. Dále je nutné analyzovat proces a nalézt optimální podmínky jednotlivých dílčích dějů.

Bubble removing during glass melting may be a slow process if only the gravitatiuonal force determines its rate. This wwork brings derivation of relations governing the one and multicomponent bubble behavior in a rotating cylindr. Pro odstraňování bublin je jejich separace od skelné taveniny důležitější než jejich případné ozpouštění. Tato práce přináší základní vztahy řídící chování bublin v rotujícím válci se skelnou taveninou .
