Draft of practical computer controlled learning tool

2015 - Czech Bachelor thesis is dealing with the problem of creating learning tool and its inclusion in teaching at basic school based on Framework educational program (RVP). Particular learning tool is greenhouse. In thesis are discussed suitable and inappropriate materials for construction. Part of thesis is focused on production of construction and also electronic components. There is also part with basic programming. Práce pojednává o vytvoření učební pomůcky a jejím zařazení v rámci výuky na základní škole za pomoci RVP. Konkrétní pomůckou je skleník. V práci jsou probrány vhodné a méně vhodné materiály pro stavbu. Také se věnuje samotné výrobě a to jak konstrukce, tak i elektronických částí. V neposlední řadě řeší základní naprogramování. Qualitative evaluations of multimedia textbooks

2015 - Czech The article is focused on a research of structure and structure components in electronic, multimedia and interactive textbooks for primary schools. Part of the article is also focused on preferences of users in the selection of electronic textbooks. This qualitative part was realized through the semi-structured interview with several respondents. The article presents some results of the research and highlights the other results. Článek se věnuje úvodu k výzkumu struktury a strukturních komponent elektronické, multimediální a interaktivní učebnice pro základní školy. Část článku se zabývá i preferencí uživatelů při výběru elektronických učebnic. Tato kvalitativní část byla realizována metodou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Článek uvádí některé výsledky realizovaného výzkumu a upozorňuje na výsledky další. Influence washers temperature of 3D printers on print quality

2015 - Czech When using the 3D printer with PLA plastic, there was a problem with internal strain in the material that finally caused its buckling. When searching for a solution in literature and other reference materials and upon consultations with other users, a hypothesis was proposed that became later the main topic of this thesis. This hypothesis assumes that the temperature of the 3D printer base plate affects the internal strain in the printed product. As the temperature increases, the internal strain should decrease up to zero, or at least to a minimum acceptable limit. To verify the hypothesis by a couple of experiments, it was necessary to find a technical solution for the heating of the printer. The resulting temperature control device used a PID controller with a relay output that switched the heating plate on and off. After a series of experiments based upon the hypothesis, the appropriate temperature was found; however, a couple of initial 3D-printed layers were melting down, i. e. another complication arose. The result is a certain compromise regarding resulting temperature and a couple of topics and suggestions to be explored. Při vlastním použití 3D tiskárny a tisku pomocí plastu PLA nastal problém s vnitřním pnutím v materiálu, který vyústil v jeho finální prohnutí. Při hledání řešení v literatuře a osobní konzultaci s dalšími uživateli vznikla hypotéza, která se stala námětem této práce. Vzniklá hypotéza předpokládá vliv teploty podložky 3D tiskárny na vnitřní pnutí v tisknutém výrobku. Takové pnutí by se s rostoucí teplotou mělo snižovat až na nulovou mez, popřípadě minimálně přijatelnou mez. Pro samotné ověření hypotézy na několika experimentech však bylo nejprve zapotřebí vyřešit technicky vyhřívání samotné tiskárny. Vlastní regulační zařízení bylo vyřešeno pomocí PDI regulátoru s reléovým výstupem, jež spíná a vypíná vyhřívací podložku. Po sérii experimentů na základě hypotézy došlo k nalezení vhodné teploty, ale během experimentů se objevila další komplikace v podobě natavení několika prvních vrstev 3D tisku. Výsledkem je tak jistý kompromis ve výsledné teplotě a zároveň několik dalších námětů na případné další zkoumání. Interactive geography textbook for the 6th class of secondary schools

2015 - Czech This article summarizes the currently available interactive Geography textbook for the sixth grade of secondary school. We demonstrate the available functions and preview environment for individual books. We are introducing interactive textbook publishers Fraus (older versions), Nová škola and Schroedel. We also test and a German textbook. In conclusion, we summarize the technical design and possible improvements. Článek shrnuje aktuálně dostupné interaktivní učebnice zeměpisu pro 6. ročník ZŠ. Demonstrujeme dostupné funkce a náhled na prostředí jednotlivých učebnic. Je zde představena interaktivní učebnice nakladatelství Fraus (starší verze), Nová škola a Schroedel. Na ukázka testujeme i jednu německou učebnici. Na závěr shrnujeme technické provedení a možná zlepšení.
