The bachelor's thesis deals with the influence of the Exit festival on tourism in the city of Novi Sad. It monitors the positive and negative effects of the festival and compares the contribution of the festival to tourism and the economy, at the same time the output should be a way to make the festival more visible in the Czech Republic. Bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem festivalu Exit na cestovní ruch v městě Novi Sad. Sleduje pozitivní a negativní vlivy festivalu a porovnává přínos festivalu pro cestovní ruch a ekonomiku, zároveň výstupem má být způsob, jak zviditelnit festival v České republice.

Kvalita ovzduší vybraných městských oblastí Afriky

This diploma thesis deals with the air quality of selected urban areas in Africa. The main aim was to analyse the current situation of the air quality in the cities of Abidjan, Johannesburg, Cairo, Kinshasa, and Nairobi. Additional goals included characterizing the impacts on human health and quality of life, as well as the implementation of environmental policies and measures to protect the air quality of the chosen cities. The interpretation of results was based on the secondary analysis of data, using the concentration of PM2.5 in the air and the recommended WHO limits to determine the current situation of air pollution in the selected urban areas. The results indicate that the selected African cities have ineffective environmental strategies and face high concentrations of PM2.5 in the air, leading to severe health complications. The main finding of the study is the lack of high quality data and studies on air pollution in the selected cities, resulting in insufficiently formulated environmental policies. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá kvalitou ovzduší vybraných městských oblastí Afriky. Hlavním cílem bylo zkoumání současné kvality ovzduší ve městech Abidjan, Johannesburg, Káhira, Kinshasa a Nairobi. Dalšími cíli byla charakteristika dopadů vlivu na lidské zdraví a kvalitu života a uplatňování environmentálních politik a opatření na ochranu kvality ovzduší vybraných měst. Interpretace výsledků probíhala na základě sekundární analýzy dat, kdy prostřednictvím využití koncentrace PM2,5 v ovzduší a doporučených limitů WHO byl zjištěn současný stav znečištění ovzduší ve vybraných městských oblastech. Výsledky ukazují, že vybraná africká města mají neefektivní environmentální strategie a čelí vysokým koncentracím PM2,5 v ovzduší, které přináší velmi vážné zdravotní komplikace. Hlavním zjištěním práce je nedostatek kvalitních dat a studií o znečištěném ovzduší ve vybraných městech, díky kterým nejsou dostatečně nastaveny environmentální politiky.

Vsetínská Bečva a místní identita

The thesis explores the topic of Vsetín Bečva and the local identity. A literature research on the topic of identity, its types and formation is done. It also deals with the topic of river morphology with a focus on gravel flows and the general function of rivers in the contemporary landscape and urban space. The analytical and design part presents the Vsetínská Bečva river, the extent of the area of interest and specific characteristic sections of its watercourse. The values and problems of the area are defined. Furthermore, a questionnaire-based survey on the relationship of the local population to the watercourse is carried out and evaluated. Based on all the analyses carried out, a basis for design is established and recommendations are made for strengthening the local identity. The proposal elaborates specific solutions for selected segments of the river with an emphasis on the development of natural values and the strengthening of the relationship between people and the river. It also recommends further development of the stream from a land-use planning perspective. At the end, the discussion describes the contributions of the work and answers the issues raised. Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem Vsetínské Bečvy a místní identity. Je zpracována literární rešerše na téma identita, její typy a utváření. Dále zpracovává téma morfologie řek se zaměřením na štěrkonosné toky a obecnou funkci řek v současné krajině i městském prostoru. Ve spojené analytické a návrhové části je představena řeka Vsetínská Bečva, rozsah zájmového území a konkrétní charakteristické řešené úseky jejího toku. Jsou definovány hodnoty a problémy území. Dále je provedeno a vyhodnoceno dotazníkové šetření zabývající se současným vztahem místních obyvatel k vodnímu toku. Na základě všech provedených analýz jsou stanovena východiska pro navrhování a vyslovena doporučení pro posílení místní identity. Návrh zpracovává konkrétní řešení pro vybrané segmenty toku s důrazem na rozvoj přírodních hodnot a posílení vztahu mezi člověkem a řekou. Dále doporučuje další vývoj toku z hlediska územního plánování. V diskuzi jsou popsány přínosy práce a odpovězeny vyslovené otázky.

Barchelor thesis deals with problematics of garden buildings preservation made of wood or steel. In theoretical part of the thesis the negative factors influencing woody and steel constructions are described together with possibilities of preservation by construction solutions or coat aplication. 4 coating systems for wood preservation and 4 coating system for steel preservation were chosen in practical part. The samples were made and individual systems were evaluated in term of aesthetics, ekology and expenses. Finally, the knowledge gained were used for designing and making of coating systém of fence made of wood and steel. Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou ochrany zahradních staveb vyrobených ze dřeva nebo oceli. V teoretické části práce jsou popsány negativní faktory ovlivňující dřevěné a ocelové konstrukce spolu s možnostmi jejich ochrany konstrukčním řešením nebo aplikací nátěru. V praktické části byly vybrány 4 nátěrové systémy pro ochranu dřeva a 4 nátěrové systémy pro ochranu oceli. Byly zhotoveny vzorky a jednotlivé systémy zhodnoceny z hlediska estetiky, ekologie a nákladů. Nakonec byly získané poznatky využity pro návrh a zhotovení nátěrového systému na plotu vyrobeném ze dřeva a oceli.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of cultivation of stubble strips in the vineyard. In the first part a literature search is prepared containing a general introduction to the cultivation of grapevines in the territory of the Czech Republic as well as information about different systems of vineyard management methods of cultivation of stubble strips and machinery for inter-vine cultivation. The elaboration part consists of two parts. The first part is a questionnaire survey which was designed to address vine growers to find out how they view the cultivation of stubble strips and what machines they use for this purpose. The second part compares the costs of running swing knife sections from three different manufacturers. A table with the calculated costs per hectare cultivated at different machine loadings is used for comparison. This whole section is summarised and evaluated graphically. Tato bakalářská se zaobírá problematikou kultivace příkmenných pásu ve vinici. V první části je zpracována literární rešerše obsahující obecné seznámení s pěstováním révy vinné na území ČR. Dále informace seznamující s různými systémy hospodaření ve vinici, způsoby kultivace příkmenných pásů a stroji pro jejich údržbu. Část vypracování je složena ze dvou částí. První část je dotazníkové šetření, které mělo oslovit pěstitele révy vinné, zjistit jakým způsobem nahlížejí na kultivaci příkmenných pásů a jaké stroje k tomuto účelu využívají. V druhé části proběhlo srovnání nákladů na provoz nožových výkyvných sekcí od tří různých výrobců. Ke srovnání slouží tabulka s vypočítanými náklady na jeden obdělávaný hektar, při různém vytížení stroje. Tato celá část je shrnuta a graficky vyhodnocena.

Kvasinka Metschnikowia - nový přístup ke kvašení u červených vín

The wine industry currently uses mainly ASVK yeast of the genus Saccharomyces for alcoholic fermentation. The aim of this work was to compare the resulting sensory and analytical profile using one of the alternatives from the non-saccharomycet yeast family Metschnikowia fructicola, which is previously considered more as a part of spontaneous fermentation. However, its controlled use can offer interesting taste attributes while preserving the typical variety and at the same time can be a good tool in biocontrol during grape processing. Vinařský průmysl v současné době využívá pro alkoholovou fermentaci zejména ASVK kvasinky rodu Saccharomyces. Snahou této práce bylo porovnání výsledného senzorického i analytického profilu za použití jedné z alternativ non-saccharomycetní kvasinky Metschnikowia fructicola, která byla dříve považována spíše za součást spontánního kvašení. Její kontrolované využití však může nabídnout zajímavé chuťové atributy při zachování typické odrůdovosti a zároveň může být dobrým pomocníkem v biokontrole při zpracování hroznů.

Stanovení významných látek s antioxidačními vlastnostmi v hroznech révy vinné

This diploma thesis on the topic Determination of significant substances with antioxidant properties in grapevine grapes deals with the substances contained in grapevine grapes with a focus on significant substances with antioxidant properties. Organic acids, vitamins, nitrogenous substances and phenolic substances including hydroxycinnamic acids. Above all, however, glutathione, ascorbic acid, caftaric acid, cutaric acid, fertaric acid and gluconic acid. Antioxidant substances are measured in selected varieties at different stages of ripening. The material selected for the measurement are the berries of the Riesling and Pinot Noir grape varieties, which come from the school farm of ŠZP Žabčice (growing area Žabčice) and the school grounds of the Mendel University Brno (growing area Lednice). It also deals with methods of measuring the content and concentration of these substances and determining basic analytical parameters (sugar content, levels of organic acids, assimilable nitrogen). It describes them and evaluates the results from the secured samples. Tato diplomová práce na téma Stanovení významných látek s antioxidačními vlastnostmi v hroznech révy vinné se zabývá látkami obsaženými v hroznech révy vinné se zaměřením na významné látky s antioxidačními vlastnostmi. Organické kyseliny, vitamíny, dusíkaté látky a fenolické látky včetně hydroxyskořicových kyselin. Především však na glutation, kyselinu askorbovou, kaftarovou, kutarovou, fertarovou a glukonovou. Antioxidační látky jsou měřeny u vybraných odrůd v různých stádiích zrání. Materiál vybraný pro měření jsou bobule hroznů révy vinné odrůd Ryzlinku rýnského a Rulandského modrého, které pocházejí ze školního zemědělského podniku ŠZP Žabčice (oblast pěstování Žabčice) a školních pozemků Mendelovy univerzity Brno (oblast pěstování Lednice) Zabývá se také metodami měření obsahu a koncentrace těchto látek a stanovení základních analytických parametrů (cukernatost, hladiny organických kyselin, asimilovatelného dusíku). Popisuje je a vyhodnocuje výsledky ze zajištěných vzorků.

Konverze původních struktur areálu Slezan z pohledu zahradní a krajinářské architektury

The diploma thesis deals with the current topic of conversion of original structures. Its timeliness is connected with the expanding building construction in the surrounding area at the expense of green land. In reaction to this global problem, the conversion tool is starting to be applied to re-use large post-industrial sites. The work approaches the topic of conversion in general, in relation to brownfields after industrial production, due to the selection of a model area for the designed part. In the designed part, an architectural study is being created for the post-industrial area Slezan 08 after the textile industry in Frýdek–Místek. In the architectural proposal, the territory of the Slezan complex is transformed into a city within a city, where a number of functions intertwine and complement each other. The proposal integrates the abandoned site back into the city's organism and makes it available to the public. The abandoned industrial area is transformed into an attractive multifunctional public space that offers use to a wide range of users. The new proposal of the designed area brings modern elements and morphology into its public space, but with respect to the valuable historical architecture of the buildings and the tradition of textile production. The design study responds to the current needs of society, but at the same time preserves the spirit of the place and its identity. Diplomová práce se zabývá aktuální tematikou konverze původních struktur. Její aktuálnost je spojena s neustále se rozrůstající zástavbou do okolí na úkor nezastavěné půdy. V reakci na tento globální problém se začíná uplatňovat nástroj konverze k opětovnému využití rozsáhlých postindustriálních areálů. Práce, vzhledem k výběru modelového území pro návrhovou část, přibližuje tematiku konverze v obecné rovině, a to ve vztahu k brownfields po průmyslové výrobě. V návrhové části je vypracovávána architektonická studie pro postindustriální areál Slezan 08 po textilním průmyslu ve Frýdku–Místku. V návrhu je území areálu Slezan přetvořeno na takové město ve městě, kde se prolíná a zároveň doplňuje řada funkcí. Návrh zapojuje opuštěný areál opět do organismu města a zpřístupňuje jej veřejnosti. Opuštěné průmyslové území je přeměněno na atraktivní multifukční veřejný prostor, který nabízí využití širokému spektru uživatelů. Nově ušitý design řešeného území vnáší do jeho veřejného prostoru moderní prvky a tvarosloví, ale s ohledem na hodnotnou historickou architekturu budov a tradici textilní výroby. Návrhová studie reaguje na aktuální potřeby společnosti, současně však zachovává ducha daného místa a jeho identitu.

The bachelor´s thesis deals with the problematics of outdoor spaces of healthcare facilities. In the Theoretical part it depicts their historical development, the positive influence of vegetation on human psychology, and its use in hospital facilities, The Analytical part of the thesis analyses a selected area of the České Budějovice hospital, its history, current state, and its positives and negatives. Following the theoretical and analytical chapters, an architectural design is provided, meeting the requirements of medical facilities. Práce se zabývá problematikou nemocničních areálů. V teoretické části řeší jejich historický vývoj, pozitivní vliv vegetace na lidskou psychiku a jeho využití v nemocničních zařízeních a zkoumá krajinářské prvky, které lze použít v rámci areálu. Analytická část práce analyzuje vybrané území nemocničního areálu v Českých Budějovicích, věnuje se jeho historickému vývoji, současnému stavu a jeho pozitivům a negativům. V návaznosti na teoretickou a analytickou část je navrženo zahradě-architektonické řešení areálu, které splňuje požadavky kladené na prostory léčebných zařízení.

Zmapování současného stavu květinových vegetačních prvků v intravilánu sídla

Bachelor thesis is dedicated to current status of flower vegetation elements in urban area of Luhačovice. This thesis deals with divided vegetation elements for first and later with their flower composition. Flowers are divided to growing groups for better orientation and better image for their using. The resulting survey of selected area and selected vegetation elements take outside with subsequent recording of the results to chart and doing photo documentation. Results were critical evaluated according to information obtained. According to these results were evaluated current state of vegetation elements. Later was describe evaluation and recommendation for selected vegetation elements which were evaluated badly. Bakalářská práce pojednává o zhodnocení aktuálního stavu květinových vegetačních prvků v intravilánu města Luhačovice. Práce se prvně zabývá rozdělením vegetačních prvků a jejich následnou květinovou skladbou. Rostliny jsou rozděleny do pěstitelských skupin pro lepší přehled a představu jejich vhodného využití. Výsledný průzkum území a vybraných květinových prvků probíhal v terénu, s následným zapsáním výsledků do tabulek a pořízením fotodokumentace. Výsledky byly kriticky ohodnoceny podle zjištěných informací a byl zhodnocen celkový aktuální stav květinových prvků. Proběhlo hodnocení a doporučení do praxe pro určité květinové vegetační prvky, které v hodnocení nedopadly nejlépe.
