Absence of female Rites of passage in liminal situations

My work focuses on understanding rites of passage that are significant or typical for women in Euro-American culture, with an emphasis on Czechs. I ask what role rituals play for women and to what extent rituals are determined by the period of transition, the need for community, the demands of religion, or by women themselves. Subsequently, I want to look for possible circumstances under which some rituals are or have become extinct. I also seek to answer the question of whether they are gradually being replaced by new rites of passage, communal activities or individual ritual acts. As a corrective to the encounter between theory and reality, I use an anonymous online questionnaire that targets women ranging in age from ten to an upper unlimited age. I focus on the following areas: how can ritual be approached? Do contemporary women need rites of passage? Is the topic close to their hearts? What other solutions do they find for significant life situations described as transitional? How do they evaluate the different life stages that correspond to rites of passage? Ve své práci se chci zaměřit na poznání přechodových rituálů, které jsou významné nebo typické pro ženy v rámci euroamerické kultury s důrazem na Čechy. Kladu si otázku, jakou úlohu mají rituály pro ženu a do jaké míry jsou rituály určovány přechodovým obdobím, potřebou společenství, požadavky náboženství nebo ženami samotnými. Následně chci hledat možné okolnosti, za jakých se některé rituály vytrácí či vytratily. Rovněž hledám odpověď na otázku, zda jsou postupně nahrazovány novými přechodovými rituály, společenskými aktivitami či individuálními rituálními úkony. Jako korekci setkání s realitou využívám dotazník, který je určený ženám od deseti let do neomezeno věkem. Chci se zaměřit na tyto oblasti: Jak je možné k rituálu přistupovat? Potřebují současné ženy přechodové rituály? Je jim téma blízké? Jaká jiná řešení pro významné životní situace označované jako přechodové nalézají?

Případová studie je tvořena finanční analýzou konkrétního stavebního podniku a vypracovaným finančním plánem.

This master‘s thesis deals with the analysis of the behaviour of the joint and its subsequent use in the supporting steel structure of the pedestrian bridge. The detail in question may find application as a structural solution for the crossing of closed cross-sections. The analysis of the joint consists of experimental analysis, numerical analysis and parametric study. Furthermore, the structural design of the pedestrian bridge was carried out. The pedestrian bridge is located in the grounds of a primary school in Litomyšl. It enables the connection of two existing buildings. In the design of the pedestrian bridge, the detail in question is used at the crossing point of the bracings. All steel elements are designed in S355 structural steel. In addition, wooden elements for the walking surface are designed in C30 coniferous wood and glass panes acting as a curtain made of insulating glass. Dlubal RFEM was chosen for the numerical analysis, parametric study and the structural model of the pedestrian bridge. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou chování styčníku a jeho následným využitím v nosné ocelové konstrukci lávky pro pěší. Předmětný detail může najít uplatnění jako konstrukční řešení křížení uzavřených průřezů. Analýza styčníku se skládá z experimentální analýzy, numerické analýzy a parametrické studie. Dále byl proveden statický návrh lávky pro pěší. Lávka se nachází v areálu základní školy v Litomyšli. Umožňuje tak propojení dvou stávajících budov. V návrhu lávky je předmětný detail použit v místě křížení ztužidel. Všechny ocelové prvky jsou navrženy z konstrukční oceli S355. Dále jsou navrženy dřevěné prvky pro vynesení pochozí plochy z jehličnatého dřeva C30 a skleněné tabule plnící funkci opláštění z izolačního skla. Pro numerickou analýzu, parametrickou studii i statický model lávky byl zvolen program Dlubal RFEM.

Analysis of the structure for the effects of earthquakes

This master thesis deals with analysis of a selected construction subjected to a seismic load. In the Dlubal RFEM programme, a basic model was created and analyzed with the spectral analysis using response spectra and with the time analysis using accelerograms from the database of the programme. The outcomes from these analyses were compared. Subsequently, the same calculations were performed on modified models and the results of the internal forces and deformations of the structure were compared with the outputs obtained on the original basic model. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou vybrané konstrukce zatížené seismicitou. V programu Dlubal RFEM byl vytvořen základní model, na němž byla provedena spektrální analýza s využitím spekter odezvy a časová analýza s využitím akcelerogramů z databáze programu. Výstupy získané z těchto analýz byly vzájemně porovnány. Následně byly tytéž výpočty provedeny na upravených modelech a výsledky vnitřních sil a deformací konstrukce byly srovnány s výstupy získanými na původním základním modelu.

This diploma thesis deals deals with the effectiveness of polyurethane and phenol-resorcinol-formaldehyde adhesives when applied in bonded joints of thermally treated sheet materials. The thermal resistance of commercially used adhesives was analysed as part of a research activity. Furthermore, the changes in the properties of wood materials after heat treatment were described. In the practical part, the effectiveness of the used adhesives on densified birch plywood was verified with respect to the shear strength of the resulting composite. Based on the results obtained, it was proceeded to verify the effectiveness of densification on spruce plywood. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá účinností polyuretanových a fenol-resorcín-formaldehydových lepidel při aplikaci v lepených spojích tepelně upravených plošných materiálů. V rámci rešeršní činnosti byla provedena analýza termické odolnosti komerčně používaných lepidel. Dále byly popsány změny vlastností dřevěných materiálů po tepelné úpravě. V praktické části bylo provedeno ověření účinnosti použitých lepidel na densifikovaných březových překližkách s ohledem na smykovou pevnost výsledného kompozitu. Na základě dosažených výsledků bylo přistoupeno k ověření účinnosti densifikace na smrkových překližkách.

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a new building of an environmental metal boarding house for the elderly with almost zero energy consumption. The guest house is a free-standing building with four floors and a middle tube, which is five floors. The first floor is more accessible to the public, there is a cafe, a social hall, offices, but also a nurse's office or technical facilities. The second to fourth floors are used for housing seniors in separate housing units. The total number of seniors who can stay here is 60. The first part of the documentation deals with the building permit for the construction in question. The entire object is made of a masonry ceramic system, which are horizontally interspersed with a monolithic ceiling slab. The facade on the first floor consists of wooden paneling, on the 2nd floor to the 4th floor there is already a facade plastered with silicone plaster. The roof structure consists of two different types, namely a walkable extensive green roof and an operational one with a roof rack. The second part of the work is focused on the engineering of the building environment, where concepts for the building's water supply were created. Furthermore, the concept of loading rainwater was solved, which is solved by a system of accumulation in a concrete sump with an overflow into a soaking device. The use of rainwater for irrigation or flushing is considered here. Heat pumps (ground / water) were chosen as a source of heating and cooling, which provide us with heat in the winter and cold in the summer. DHW is solved as an indirect heating tank, which is heated by the already mentioned heat pumps. In order for the object to meet all the requirements of today's building, we had to install forced ventilation or cooling of individual rooms for ideal thermal comfort in the summer. The concept of photovoltaic panels and the design of suitable lighting in individual rooms were also dealt with in the given part. The last part of the thesis dealt with the assessment of the source of heat and cold with regard to the consumed energy, acquisition and operating costs. The result of the given energy assessment should be the selection of a suitable source for the building in question. Sowtfare used in the work: Autocad 21, Archicad 25, Lumion, Altrea Duplex, AeroCAD, Deksoft, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem novostavby environmetálního penzionu pro seniory s téměr nulovou spotřebou energie. Penzion je samostatně stojící se čtyřmi podlažími a prostředním tubusem, který je pěti podlažní. První patro je více přístupné věřejnosti, nachází se zde kavárna, společenský sál, kanceláře, ale také sesterna nebo technické zázemí. V druhé až čtvrté podlaží slouží pro bydlení seniorů v samostatných bytových jednotkách. Celkový počet seniorů, který se zde může ubyvat je 60. První část dokumentace se zabývá stavebním povolením na řešenou stavbu. Celý objekt je ze zděného keramického systému, které jsou vodorovně proloženy monolitickou stropní deskou. Fasáda v prvním podlaží je tvořena dřevěným obložením, v úrovní 2.NP až 4.NP se již nachází fasáda omítnuta silikonovou omítkou. Střešní konstrukce je tvořena dvěma různými typy, a to je pochozí extenzivní zelená střecha a provozní s kačírkem. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na techniku prostředí staveb, kde byly zhotoveny koncepce na zásobování objektu vodou. Dále se řešila koncepce nákladání dešťových vod, která je vyřešena systémem akumulace do betonové jímky s přepadem do vsakovacího zařízení. Využití dešťové vody na zalívku či splachování je zde v úvahu. Jako zdroj vytápění a chladu byly zvoleny tepelné čerpadla (země / voda), které nám přes zimu vytváří teplo a v létě chlad. TUV je vyřešeno jako nepřímotopný zásobník, který je ohříván již zmiňovanými tepelnými čerpadly. Aby objekt splnil veškeré nároky dnešní doby na budovu museli jsme instalovat nucené větrání či chlazení jednotlivých místnosti pro ideální tepelnou pohodu v letním období. V dané části se řešila také koncepce fotovoltaických panelů či návrh vhodného osvětlení v jednotlivých místnostech. Poslední část v diplomové prace se zabývala posouzením zdroje tepla a chladu s ohledem na spotřebovanou energii, pořizovací a provozní náklady. Výsledkem daného energetického posouzení má být výběr vhodného zdroje pro řešenou budovu. Rehabilitation of sewer networks with the implementation of elements for rainwater management

This thesis focused on the possibilities of rehabilitation of the sewer network with the implementation of rainwater management elements (HDV), respectively blue-green infrastructure (MZI). In the first part of the thesis, the most used rehabilitation methods are reviewed and the rainwater management respectively blue-green infrastructure elements are divided and described. In the second practical part of the thesis, the acquired knowledge is applied to the study of the rehabilitation of the sewer network with the implementation of elements for rainwater management in the street Pod Soudním vrchem in Znojmo. A suitable rehabilitation technology (CIPP lining) was designed and economically evaluated for the site of interest and elements for rainwater management (two underground retention tanks and one underground infiltration retention tank) were designed and implemented, for which investment costs associated with the construction were determined. Tato diplomová práce se zaměřila na možnosti sanace stokové sítě s implementací prvků pro hospodaření s dešťovou vodou (HDV), respektive modro-zelené infrastruktury (MZI). V první části diplomové práce je provedena rešerše nejpoužívanějších sanačních metod a dále jsou zde rozděleny a popsány prvky pro hospodaření s dešťovou vodou, respektive prvky modro-zelené infrastruktury. Ve druhé praktické části diplomové práce jsou získané poznatky aplikovány na zpracování studie sanace stokové sítě s implementací prvků pro hospodaření s dešťovou vodou na ulici Pod Soudním vrchem ve městě Znojmo. Pro zájmovou lokalitu byla navržena a ekonomicky zhodnocena vhodná sanační technologie (CIPP vystýlka) a dále zde byly navrženy a implementovány prvky pro hospodaření s dešťovou vodou (dvě podzemní retenční nádrže a jedna podzemní vsakovací retenční nádrž), pro které se stanovily investiční náklady spojené s výstavbou.

This diploma thesis deals with the description of convention heaters and the method of determining heat consumption for an apartment building. It summarizes the types of meters and indicators of heating costs, describes their function and the possibilities of reading the mesured data. The issue of heat billing in apartment buildings is also addressed. This informations are further used on the solved apartment building, which has five above-groud floors and one underground floor. Two variant solutions of the heating system were made, and then the calculation of heat costs and the determination of location coefficients for the apartment building in question were processed. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá popisem konvekčních otopných těles a způsobem stanovení spotřeby tepla na vytápění v bytových domech. Shrnuje druhy měřidel a indikátorů topných nákladů, přibližuje jejich funkci a možnosti odečtu naměřených dat. Dále je řešena problematika rozúčtovaní tepla v bytových domech. Tyto informace jsou dále použity na řešeném bytovém domě, který má pět nadzemních a jedno podzemní podlaží. Byly zhotoveny dvě variantní řešení systému vytápění a následně bylo zpracováno vyúčtování nákladů za teplo a stanovení polohových koeficientů na řešeném bytovém domě.
