This thesis deals with the design and creation of a knowledge base for the NPS diagnostic expert system. The knowledge base is designed to diagnose diabetes and its specific type. Part of the thesis is a brief introduction to the issue of artificial intelligence, acquaintance of the reader with the theory of expert systems and knowledge engineering. Further, the thesis deals with the complex issue of the disease diabetes mellitus, its types, properties, symptoms and diagnosis. Táto práca sa zaoberá návrhom a tvorbou báze znalostí pre diagnostický expertný systém NPS. Báza znalostí slúži na diagnostiku diabetu a jeho konkrétneho typu. Súčasťou práce je stručný úvod do problematiky umelej inteligencie, zoznámenie čitateľa s teóriou expertných systémov a znalostného inžinierstva. Ďalej sa práca zaoberá komplexnou problematikou ochorenia diabetes mellitus, jeho rozdelením, vlastnosťami, príznakmi a diagnostikou.

Accurate sales forecasting is pivotal for operational efficiency in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. This thesis explores the application of Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) models, a specialized form of recurrent neural networks, to enhance the precision of sales predictions. Unlike traditional statistical methods, LSTMs are adept at capturing temporal dependencies within sales data, potentially offering more accurate forecasts. By applying LSTM models to historical sales data from a food industry company, this research demonstrates improvements over conventional forecasting techniques. The findings suggest that LSTMs can significantly help FMCG companies in optimizing inventory management and demand planning, thereby contributing valuable insights into artificial intelligence applications in supply chain management. These results emphasize the practical implications for FMCG stakeholders to embrace advanced artificial intelligence technologies to remain competitive in a dynamic market environment. Presné predpovede predaja sú kľúčové pre prevádzkovú efektivitu v sektore rýchloobrátkového spotrebného tovaru (FMCG). Táto práca skúma uplatnenie modelov Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), špecializovaného typu rekurentných neurónových sietí, s cieľom zvýšiť presnosť predpovedí predaja. Na rozdiel od tradičných štatistických metód sú LSTM schopné zachytávať časové závislosti v údajoch o predaji, čím potenciálne ponúkajú presnejšie prognózy. Aplikáciou modelov LSTM na historické údaje o predaji z potravinárskej spoločnosti tento výskum preukazuje zlepšenie v porovnaní s konvenčnými predikčnými technikami. Zistenia naznačujú, že LSTM môžu významne pomôcť spoločnostiam v oblasti FMCG pri optimalizácii riadenia zásob a plánovaní dopytu, čím prispievajú cennými pohľadmi do aplikácií umelej inteligencie v riadení dodávateľského reťazca. Tieto výsledky zdôrazňujú praktické dôsledky pre zainteresované strany v sektore FMCG, aby prijali pokročilé technológie umelej inteligencie s cieľom udržať si konkurencieschopnosť v dynamickom trhovom prostredí.

The thesis deals with the websites analysis of the archives in the Czech Republic and used technologies. The aim of the thesis is to design an intuitive user interface and to create a datacentric web application for displaying archival materials from eight main archives in the Czech Republic. The server part of the application is implemented by using the Java programming language with Spring Boot. The client part of the application is built by using Angular, and the part of the application that is designed for a detailed browsing of the digitized attachments is created by using the OpenSeadragon JavaScript library. Táto práca sa zaoberá analýzou webových stránok archívov v Českej republike a technológiami, ktoré používajú. Cieľom práce je navrhnúť intuitívne užívateľské rozhranie a vytvoriť datacentrickú webovú aplikáciu pre zobrazenie archívnych materiálov z ôsmich hlavných archívov v Českej republike. Serverová časť aplikácie je implementovaná pomocou programovacieho jazyka Java s použitím Spring Boot. Klientská časť aplikácie je zostavená pomocou Angularu a časť aplikácie, ktorá je určená pre detailné prehliadanie digitalizovaných príloh je vytvorená pomocou JavaScriptovej knižnice OpenSeadragon.

This thesis addresses the issue of capturing melodic percussion instruments using dynamic sensors that can be attached to a musical instrument. It includes theoretical knowledge, analysis, and selection of appropriate sensing methods, and the actual implementation, which consists of testing, integration with MIDI, manufacturing of the device itself, and final calibration and adjustments for proper functionality. The device uses an ESP32-S3 Dev Kit N8R8 microcontroller, which was programmed in the Arduino IDE for proper operation. The device consists of twelve piezoelectric sensors that capture the dynamics of playing the musical instrument and send MIDI information to a DAW via a Bluetooth module. Táto práca sa zaoberá problematikou snímania melodických bicích nástrojov pomocou dynamických snímačov, ktoré je možné pripojiť na hudobný nástroj. Obsahuje teoretické poznatky, analýzu a výber vhodného snímania a samotnou implementáciou, ktorá je zložená z testovania, integrácie s MIDI, výroby samotného zariadenia a finálnej kalibrácie a úpravami pre správnu funkčnosť. V zariadení je použitý mikrokontrolér ESP32-S3 Dev Kit N8R8, ktorý bol pre správnu funkciu naprogramovaný v programe Arduino IDE. Zariadenie sa skladá z dvanástich piezoelektrických snímačov, ktoré snímajú dynamiku hry na hudobný nástroj a pomocou Bluetooth modulu posielajú MIDI informácie do DAW.

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to develop pilot software capable of processing holographic data and to engage in the development of a holographic incoherent quantitative phase imaging microscope. Holography as a holistic recording method is able to record 3D information about an object in a 2D format. This information serves as input data for optical tomography, which can reconstruct the tomographic image. There are several approaches to reconstructing internal structure, and this paper discusses projection and diffraction tomography in more detail. From both types of tomography, one reconstruction algorithm is selected to be used in the development of tomography software. Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce bolo vyvinúť pilotný softvér, ktorý je schopný spracovať holografické dáta a zapojiť sa do vývoja holografického nekoherentného kvantitatívneho fázového zobrazovacieho mikroskopu. Holografia ako metóda celostného záznamu je schopná zaznamenať 3D informácie o predmete do 2D formátu. Tieto informácie slúžia ako vstupné dáta pre optickú tomografiu, ktorá dokáže zrekonštruovať tomografický snímok. Existuje niekoľko prístupov k rekonštrukcii vnútornej štruktúry, pričom táto práca sa podrobnejšie venuje projekčnej a difrakčnej tomografii. Z oboch druhov tomografií je vybratý jeden rekonštrukčný algoritmus, ktorý bude použitý pri vývoji tomografického softvéru.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on addressing the issue of controlling three-position disconnectors in gas-insulated switchgear by ABB. The aim of the thesis was to create drawings for three-position control methods and analyze their properties. The introduction provides a detailed analysis of the structure and components of gas-insulated switchgear. It further examines the issue of three-position disconnectors and their various control methods. The practical part of the thesis deals with the design of standardized control circuits for disconnector motor drives, which efficiently utilize space and optimize costs. The individual circuits were compared to select the most suitable replacement for the original control system. A model was created to verify the functionality of the proposed solutions, serving to demonstrate their operation. Práca sa zameriava na riešenie problematiky riadenia trojpolohových odpojovačov v plynom izolovaných rozvádzačoch spoločnosti ABB. Cieľom práce bolo vytvoriť výkresy pre trojicu vybraných spôsobov ovládania a analyzovať ich vlastnosti. V úvode je podrobne analyzovaná štruktúra a komponenty plynom izolovaných rozvádzačov. Ďalej je skúmaná problematika trojpolohových odpojovačov a ich rôzne riadiace metódy. Praktická časť práce sa zaoberá návrhom štandardizovaných zapojení ovládania motorových pohonov odpojovačov, ktoré efektívne využívajú miesto a optimalizujú náklady. Jednotlivé zapojenia boli porovnané s cieľom vybrať najvhodnejšiu náhradu pôvodného ovládania. Na overenie funkčnosti navrhnutých riešení bol vytvorený model, ktorý slúži na demonštráciu ich fungovania.

The aim of this work is to describe the development of the NS3 simulator, specifically between versions 3.21 and 3.40. Another objective was to prepare three laboratory tasks that were developed in an older version and implement them into the latest version with new guides. The work also describes the environment setup and installation of this tool. The final part focuses on extending the original tasks and their implementation into the latest version. Cieľom tejto práce je popísať vývoj simulátora NS3, konkrétne medzi verziami 3.21 a 3.40. Ďalším cieľom bolo vypracovať tri laboratórne úlohy, ktoré boli vyvinuté v staršej verzii a implementovať ich do najnovšej verzie s novými návodmi. V práci sa tiež popisuje nastavenie prostredia a inštalácia tohto nástroja. Posledná časť je zameraná na rozšírenie pôvodných úloh a ich implementáciu do najnovšej verzie.

The bachelor thesis deals in detail with the issue of reconciling personal and professional life. This thesis is structured in three main parts. The first part focuses on the theoretical foundations, where knowledge about the reconciliation of personal and professional life is presented, as well as the processes involved in this reconciliation. The second part deals with a detailed introduction of the analyzed enterprise, provides an overview of its economic situation and includes the results of a questionnaire survey involving employees of the enterprise in the finance department and employees of other enterprises. The third part presents 3 concrete proposals based on the analysis of the questionnaire survey. These suggestions are aimed at improving the work-life balance of employees, which could help to achieve a better balance. Bakalárska práca sa podrobne venuje problematike zlaďovania osobného a pracovného života. Táto práca je štruktúrovaná do troch hlavných častí. Prvá časť sa orientuje na teoretické základy, kde sú prezentované poznatky o zosúlaďovaní osobného a pracovného života, ako aj o procesoch, ktoré sú pri tomto zosúlaďovaní zapojené. Druhá časť sa zaoberá detailným predstavením analyzovaného podniku, poskytuje prehľad jeho ekonomickej situácie a zahŕňa výsledky dotazníkového prieskumu, do ktorého boli zapojení zamestnanci daného podniku na finančnom oddelení a aj zamestnanci iných podnikov. Tretia časť predkladá 3 konkrétne návrhy, ktoré vychádzajú z analýzy dotazníkového prieskumu. Tieto návrhy sú zamerané na zlepšenie rovnováhy medzi pracovným a súkromným životom zamestnancov, čo by mohlo prispieť k lepšiemu dosiahnutiu tejto rovnováhy.

Novostavba na Kraví hoře v Brně

The thesis focuses on addressing the current state of the garages situated at the base of Kraví Hora in Brno. The design concept for the parking house, integrated with a sports hall, draws inspiration from the surrounding streets. These streets, strategically positioned at the entrance to Kraví Hora, exhibit dynamic fluctuations fullness and emptiness, presenting a strong opportunity to repurpose the space currently dedicated solely to parking. The cark park is envisioned as a publicly accessible facility characterized by adaptable atmospheres of openness and enclosure, reflecting the flexible utilization of its spaces which extends into the structural concept and possibilities of its redesign. The proposal aims to become a part of Kraví hora, but also of the city and its needs. Práca sa venuje návrhu, ktorý reaguje na momentálny stav okolia garáží na úpätí Kraví hory v meste Brno. Základom návrhu parkovacieho domu so športovou halou sú ulice v okolí, pre ich strategickú polohu pri nástupe na Kraví horu a ich vypozorovanú variabilitu v plnosti a prázdnote, z ktorej vyplýva silný potenciál pre zmenu priestoru zbytočne využívaného na parkovanie. Parkovací dom je navhrhnutý ako verejne otvorená budova, ktorá má premenlivé atmosféry otvorenosti a uzavretosti odvodené od možnosti využívania jej priestorov, čo sa premieta aj do práce s konštrukciou a možnosťami jej prepisu. Návrh sa stáva súčasťou Kravej hory, no aj mesta a jeho potrieb.

This thesis addresses the problem of managing people, groups of people, resources, and resource permissions in the Unix system managed by the Knowledge Technology Research Group Information System (KNOTIS). The main objective is to effectively combine the use of access lists and groups to manage user access to resources. Based on the properties of the resource and the number of persons with access, the module automatically evaluates which type of permissions is more advantageous for managing permissions to individual resources. The communication between KNOTIS and a server is implemented using the JSON-RPC communication protocol. The content of the communication messages was defined based on specific demands. The result of this thesis is a new group of modules for KNOTIS and the servers managed by it. The modules focus on a new way of communication between the information system and the servers and on how to process the requested changes on the server side, including a more efficient way of managing resource permissions. Táto práca sa zaoberá problematikou správy osôb, skupín osôb, prostriedkov a oprávnení k prostriedkom v systéme Unix spravovaných z informačného systému Výskumnej skupiny znalostných technológií (KNOTIS). Hlavným cieľom je efektívne využitie kombinácie zoznamu prístupov a skupín osôb pre riadenie prístupu používateľov k prostriedkom. Tento proces je automatizovaný pomocou modulu, ktorý na základe vlastností prostriedku a počtu osôb s prístupom automaticky vyhodnocuje, ktorý druh oprávnení je výhodnejší pre správu oprávnení k jednotlivým prostriedkom. Komunikácia medzi KNOTIS a serverom je realizovaná pomocou komunikačného protokolu JSON-RPC. Obsah správ komunikácie bol definovaný podľa špecifických potrieb. Výsledkom práce je nová skupina modulov pre KNOTIS a ním spravované servery. Moduly sa zameriavajú na nový spôsob komunikácie informačného systému so servermi a na spôsob spracovania požadovaných zmien na strane serverov vrátane zefektívnenia spôsobu správy oprávnení k prostriedkom.
