This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of soil preparation for potato cultivation. It compares the different methods of soil preparation, taking into account their influence on the quality and yield of potatoes, technological and economic requirements. The first part of the thesis provides an introduction to potato cultivation, the use of potatoes and a theoretical introduction to the different soil preparation technologies. In the second part of the thesis we can find the evaluation and comparison of the results of the actual work where we can see the differences in yield, tuber size and economics of potato cultivation for different variants. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou přípravy půdy pro pěstování brambor. Porovnává jednotlivé způsoby přípravy půdy, zohledňuje jejich vliv na kvalitu a výnos brambor, technologickou a ekonomickou náročnost. V první části práce nalezneme úvod do pěstování brambor, využití brambor a teoretické seznámení s jednotlivými technologiemi pro přípravu půdy. V druhé části práce se nachází samotné vyhodnocení a porovnání výsledků vlastní práce, kde jsou vidět rozdíly ve výnosu, velikosti hlíz a ekonomiky pěstování brambor u různých variant.

Professional classroom for radiographers

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the education and practical training of radiographers. The primary goal is to theoretically map out the necessary information and subsequently apply it in creating a specialized classroom for the training of radiographers. In the theoretical part, information and knowledge required to fulfill the objectives of the practical part will be described through the study of specialized literature and both printed and online sources. The profession of a radiographers will be specified in detail, along with the methods of their education and qualification acquisition. Additionally, the Radiological Assistance study program taught at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of the University of South Bohemia will be presented. The following chapters will briefly address the various imaging methods used in radiology. The imaging method of computed tomography will be presented in more detail, as it will be utilized in the practical part of the thesis. The subsequent chapters will cover the principles of radiation protection and methods of radiation protection for workers in radiodiagnostics, including radiation protection limits against exposure. Radiation emergencies that pose risks when working with ionizing radiation will also be briefly introduced. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is to create a design proposal for a specialized classroom for radiographers, including a list of safety measures, necessary equipment, and room parameters. Another goal is to identify alternative or supplementary educational programs or aids to enhance theoretical education, with a proposal for a second classroom focused on the use of modern technologies. The creation of these proposals will be based on the foundations described in the theoretical and practical parts of the thesis. Tato bakalářská práce se bude věnovat vzdělávání a praktické výuce radiologických asistentů, konkrétně bude jejím cílem teoreticky zmapovat potřebné informace a následně je aplikovat při tvorbě odborné učebny pro výuku radiologických asistentů. V teoretické části práce budou pomocí prostudované odborné literatury a tištěných i internetových zdrojů popsány informace a znalosti potřebné pro naplnění cíle praktické části práce. Bude blíže specifikována profese radiologický asistent, bude představen způsobu jeho vzdělávání a zisku potřebné kvalifikace. Dále bude popsán studijní program Radiologická asistence vyučovaný na Zdravotně sociální fakultě Jihočeské univerzity. V dalších kapitolách se práce bude stručně zaobírat jednotlivými zobrazovacími metodami využívanými v radiologii. Blíže bude představena zobrazovací metoda výpočetní tomografie, jelikož bude následně využita v praktické části práce. Následující kapitoly práce se budou věnovat principům radiační ochrany a způsobům radiační ochrany pracovníků v radiodiagnostice včetně limitů radiační ochrany před ozářením. Stručně představeny budou také radiační mimořádné události představující rizika při práci s ionizujícím zářením. Cílem praktické části práce je zhotovení návrhu odborné učebny pro radiologické asistenty včetně výčtu bezpečnostních opatření, potřebného vybavení a parametrů místnosti. Dalším cílem je vyhledání alternativních nebo doprovodných edukativních programů či pomůcek pro obohacení teoretické výuky, kdy bude navržena druhá učebna se zaměřením na využití moderních technologií. Tvorba návrhů proběhne na základě východisek popsaných v teoretické a praktické části práce.

Efficiency of foreign exchange market

The aim of this thesis is to verify the efficiency of the foreign exchange market and to assess the possibility of using technical analysis in trading on this market. This thesis focuses on testing of the random walk hypothesis of selected foreign exchange rates EUR/CZK, USD/CZK, JPY/CZK and the possibility of achieving above average returns using technical analysis. An efficient foreign exchange market is defined as a market where movements in foreign exchange rates perform a random walk. They almost instantaneously reflect or react to unexpected, unpredictable, randomly occurring and mutually independent information. In such a market, it is not possible to achieve systematically above-average returns. To test the validity of the random walk hypothesis and the efficient market in its weak form, selected statistical tests were used: runs test, autocorrelation analysis, analysis of variance, unit root test (ADF) and KPSS stationarity test. Moving averages EMA and oscillator RSI were used to test the trading strategy based on technical analysis. The data were obtained from an online trading platform and tested using EViews 12 SV and MS Excel. The entire time period 01/2001 to 12/2023 was divided into five sub-periods. The foreign exchange markets proved to be inherently more efficient and unpredictable than one might assume. Market efficiency as well as inefficiency can disappear for a time and reappear after a period of time. All the selected tests confirmed the validity of the efficient market hypothesis for the USD/CZK exchange rate in the period of the financial crisis and in the post-financial crisis period and before the COVID-19 pandemic. Cílem této práce je ověřit efektivitu devizového trhu a posoudit možnost využití technické analýzy při obchodování na tomto trhu. Tato práce se zabývá testováním hypotézy náhodné procházky vybraných devizových kurzů EUR/CZK, USD/CZK, JPY/CZK a možnosti dosažení nadprůměrných výnosů pomocí technické analýzy. Efektivní devizový trh se rozumí trh, kde pohyby devizových kurzů konají náhodnou procházku, kdy téměř okamžitě odrážejí či reagují na neočekávané, nepředvídatelné, náhodně se vyskytující a vzájemně nezávislé informace. Na takovém trhu není možné systematicky dosahovat nadprůměrných výnosů. K testování platnosti hypotézy náhodné procházky a efektivního trhu v její slabé formě byly využity statistické testy: runs test, autokorelační analýza, test poměru rozptylů, test jednotkového kořene (ADF) a test stacionarity KPSS. K testování obchodní strategie založené na technické analýze byly použity klouzavé průměry EMA a oscilátor RSI. Data byla získána prostřednictvím online obchodní platformy a testována pomocí programu EViews 12 SV a MS Excel. Časová perioda 01/2001 až 12/2023 byla rozdělena do pěti kratších obdobích. Ukázalo se, že devizové trhy jsou ve své podstatě efektivnější a nepředvídatelnější, než by se mohlo předpokládat. Efektivnost stejně tak neefektivnost trhu může na čas vymizet a po určité době se opět objevit. Všemi vybranými testy byla platnost hypotézy efektivního trhu potvrzena u kurzu USD/CZK v období finanční krize, v období po finanční krizi a před pandemií COVID-19. Application of circular economics principles in chosen gastronomic establishments: school canteens

Through a questionnaire survey it examines whether the principles of sustainability are applied in practice. The main results show varying degrees of application of these principles, with often a lack of sufficient awareness and clear policies promoting circular economy in school catering. The paper identifies key areas for improvement and highlights financial constraints as a significant barrier to the implementation of sustainable practices. Based on these findings, the thesis proposes recommendations to increase the sustainability of school canteens. The survey was carried out within the framework of the University of South Bohemia grant project GAJU 103/2023/S. Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou aplikace principů cirkulární ekonomiky ve školních jídelnách a identifikací možností pro zlepšení udržitelnosti v těchto zařízeních. Prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření zkoumá, zda jsou principy udržitelnosti v praxi uplatňovány. Hlavní výsledky ukazují na různou míru aplikace těchto principů, přičemž často chybí dostatečná informovanost a jasné politiky podporující cirkulární ekonomiku ve školním stravování. Práce identifikuje klíčové oblasti, kde je třeba provést zlepšení, a zdůrazňuje finanční omezení jako významnou překážku implementace udržitelných postupů. Na základě těchto zjištění práce navrhuje doporučení pro zvýšení udržitelnosti školních jídelen. Průzkum byl realizovaný v rámci grantového projektu Jihočeské univerzity GAJU 103/2023/S.

This thesis deals with the intergenerational learning in context of digital transformation in companies. The basis of this thesis is acquired knowledge in corporate education, digital competences, and intergenerational learning. This thesis focuses on the effective transfer of knowledge and skills between generations in the field of digital literacy. In practical part of the thesis, there is used a questionnaire to analyse digital competences of workers. Based on this data, the company get suggestions where it is appropriate to improve the digital competence of workers. The company also get suggestions how to improve digital competences of workers. The aim of this thesis is also to analyse system of learning in the company and determine opinion of workers on intergenerational learning. Tato práce se zabývá mezigeneračním učením v kontextu digitální transformace ve firmách. Základem této práce jsou získané znalosti v oblasti podnikového vzdělávání, digitálních kompetencí a mezigeneračního učení. Tato práce se zaměřuje na efektivní sdílení znalostí a dovedností mezi generacemi v oblasti digitální gramotnosti. V praktické části práce je využit dotazník k analýze digitálních kompetencí pracovníků. Na základě těchto dat získává společnost návrhy, kde je vhodné zlepšit digitální kompetenci pracovníků. Společnost také dostává návrhy, jakým způsobem zlepšit digitální kompetence pracovníků. Cílem této práce je také analyzovat systém vzdělávání ve firmě a zjistit názor pracovníků na mezigenerační učení.

Transformation of ERP System from Legacy to Cloud

This thesis deals in detail with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for medium and larger enterprises or corporations. The thesis is based on the current needs of businesses at the time of writing and considers current trends in ERP solutions and their operation. The thesis summarises the knowledge from available sources about the infrastructure of ERP systems, their operation options (on-premise vs. cloud), which are further as-sessed with the help of a SWOT analysis. It then discusses the key aspects of moving to cloud ERP and the factors that influence the success of the implementation. The methodology of multiple criteria decision making and the TOPSIS method for evaluating and selecting the optimal ERP deployment model are presented in detail. The result of the work is the application of the TOPSIS method in a real company and the evaluation of the models included in the tender. The thesis's main contribution is the provision of a clear guide and tool for selecting an appropriate ERP deployment and operation model. Tato práce se podrobně zabývá systémy plánování podnikových zdrojů (ERP) pro střední a větší podniky nebo korporace. Práce vychází z aktuálních potřeb podniků v době jejího vzniku a zohledňuje současné trendy v oblasti ERP řešení a jejich provozu. Práce shrnuje poznatky z dostupných zdrojů o infrastruktuře ERP systémů, možnostech jejich provozu (on-premise vs. cloud), které jsou dále hodnoceny pomocí SWOT analýzy. Dále se zabývá klíčovými aspekty přechodu na cloudové ERP a faktory, které ovlivňují úspěšnost implementace. Podrobně je představena metodika vícekriteriálního rozhodování a metoda TOPSIS pro vyhodnocení a výběr optimálního modelu nasazení ERP. Výsledkem práce je aplikace metody TOPSIS v reálné společnosti a vyhodnocení modelů zahrnutých do výběrového řízení. Hlavním přínosem práce je poskytnutí přehledného návodu a nástroje pro výběr vhodného modelu nasazení a provozu ERP.

A Car in the Business of a Self-employed Person and Its Taxation

The bachelor thesis deals with the tax aspect of the use of a car in the business of a self-employed person, spe-cifically one who is not a value-added tax (VAT) payer. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the tax implications associated with the acquisition, ownership and operation of a car in the context of entrepreneurial activities. Firstly, it focuses mainly on personal income tax of individuals and is oriented towards the specifics of car ownership and its use. Subsequently, it involves the real calculation of cost, depreciation and tax advantages for the selected self-employed person. The thesis concludes with a summary of key findings, including the calculation of personal income tax for the chosen entreprenuer. Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na používání a vliv automobilu v podnikání osoby samostatně výdělečně činné, konkrétně neplátce DPH, na její daňovou povinnost. Cílem práce je dle zadání vyhodnotit náklady a postupy při používání automobilu v samostatné výdělečné činnosti, které jsou vhodné pro konkrétní podnikatelský subjekt z pohledu snížení daně z příjmů fyzických osob. Výpočet částky daně z příjmů je proveden u vybraného podnikatelského subjektu. Jsou zde uvedeny základní informace o konkrétní fyzické osobě, jejích příjmech a výdajích, vozidle v podnikání a další podstatné faktory. Na základě těchto informací jsou provedeny výpočty skutečných a paušálních výdajů na dopravu. Základ daně je vypočten z obou variant a je zkoumáno, která z metod je ta nejvhodnější z hlediska daňové optimalizace. U výpočtu daně je bráno v potaz i uplatnění paušálních výdajů. Z výsledků výpočtu paušálních výdajů je zřejmé, že základ daně při použití těchto výdajů vyšel výrazně nižší ve srovnání s ostatními metodami. Proto byla částka daně vypočtena z tohoto základu daně. Závěrem je zjištěno, že i přes využití nejvhodnější možné kombinace snížení základu daně pomocí používání automobilu v podnikání, paušální výdaje vycházejí nejlépe. Tento závěr je velmi individuální a může být rozdílný u každého podnikatelského subjektu. Práce poskytla přehled variant, lepší pochopení této problematiky a doporučení pro vybraný podnikatelský subjekt, jak se rozhodnout při optimalizaci daňové povinnosti.

Management of selected hotels

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the current state of selected hotels in four districts in the South Bohemia Region. For an overall overview, secondary data was first used to identify common features of the territory in which the hotels are located. Primary data collection took place between December 2023 and March 2024. The first step was mystery shopping, through which the condition of the hotels from the customer's point of view was determined and a predefined checklist was filled in. Next, a structured interview was created and conducted between the author of the thesis and the hotel's person in charge. The aim of the interview was to find out the state of management and organization of the hotel. The last part consisted of a financial analysis which was used to compare the financial situation of the hotels. The summative evaluation was done in a multi-criteria analysis where the results of each part were evaluated first and then the overall evaluation. The interim and overall assessment was tabulated and then evaluated. In the very end, the individual results were summarized, the evaluation of the stated hypothesis was evaluated, and the contribution to further study was described. Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou současného stavu vybraných hotelů na území čtyř okresů v Jihočeském kraji. Pro celkový přehled bylo využito nejprve sekundárních dat, díky nimž byly zjištěny společné znaky území, na kterém se hotely nacházejí. Sběr primárních dat probíhal mezi prosincem roku 2023 a březnem roku 2024. Prvním krokem byl mystery shopping, díky němuž byl zjištěn stav hotelů z pohledu zákazníka a na jeho základě byl vyplněn předem stanovený checklist. Dále byl vytvořen strukturovaný rozhovor, který probíhal mezi autorkou práce a hotelem pověřenou osobou. Cílem rozhovoru bylo zjistit stav řízení a organizace hotelu. Poslední část tvořila finanční analýza, která sloužila k porovnání finanční situace hotelů. Souhrnné zhodnocení probíhalo v rámci multikriteriální analýzy, kde se nejprve hodnotily výsledky jednotlivých částí, a poté celkové hodnocení. Průběžné i celkové hodnocení bylo zpracováno do tabulek a následně zhodnoceno. V samotném závěru byly shrnuty jednotlivé výsledky, hodnocení stanovené hypotézy a popsán přínos pro další studium.

Evaluation of the effectiveness of selected investment and assessment of influence on company's financial stability

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of investment decision-making. In the theoretical part, the stages and procedures of investment decision-making are described, including the identification of the expected elements that the project will bring. This section explains the effectiveness assessment methods, including their calculation. In the conclusion, the function of financial analysis in assessing the financial stability of the company is explained. The practical part first deals with approaching the company and its financial situation using financial analysis. Based on this analysis, a suitable source of financing is selected. In the next part, the elements of the chosen project are investigated in detail, which are evaluated using selected methods of effectiveness assessment. The net present value method and the discounted payback period were chosen for the calculation. The results of the methods are evaluated and based on them a recommendation for the company is drawn up. In the last part, a financial plan is drawn up without the implementation of the investment project. In order to assess the impact of project implementation on financial stability, this financial plan is modified by one of the project variants. Selected financial indicators are calculated from both financial plans, thanks to which comparison the impact on financial stability will be evaluated. At the end, there is a summary of the results and recommendations. Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou investičního rozhodování. V teoretické části jsou popsány fáze a postupy investičního rozhodování včetně identifikace očekávaných prvků, které projekt přinese. V této části jsou vysvětleny metody hodnocení efektivnosti včetně jejich výpočtů. V závěru je vysvětlena funkce finanční analýzy při posuzování finanční stability podniku. Praktická část se nejdříve věnuje přiblížení podniku a jeho finanční situaci pomocí finanční analýzy. Na základě této analýzy je vybrán vhodný zdroj financování. V další části se podrobně vyšetřují prvky zvoleného projektu, které jsou vybranými metodami hodnocení efektivnosti zhodnoceny. Pro výpočet byla zvolena metoda čisté současné hodnoty a diskontovaná doba návratnosti. Výsledky metod jsou vyhodnoceny a na jejich základě je vyhotoveno doporučení pro podnik. V poslední části je sestaven finanční plán bez realizace investičního projektu. Pro posouzení vlivu realizace projektu na finanční stabilitu je tento finanční plán upraven o jednu z variant projektu. Z obou finančních plánu jsou vypočítány vybrané finanční ukazatele, díky jejichž komparaci dojde ke zhodnocení vlivu na finanční stabilitu. V závěru se nachází souhrn výsledků a doporučení.

Current Development of Buying Behaviour in Consumer Markets

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to identify and evaluate changes in consumer purchasing behavior in response to high inflation and the Covid-19 pandemic. The research focused on consumers across the Czech Republic, spanning all age groups and social statuses. The thesis includes a literature review that discusses important theoretical insights about the consumer, their behavior, and specifies customer behavior. Based on the examination of available literature, a quantitative research study in the form of a questionnaire survey was designed to obtain primary data in the studied area. The research results confirmed the established hypotheses and showed that increased product prices led to a reduction in purchases of more expensive foods and increased price sensitivity among consumers. Many consumers started to seek out discount events and use loyalty programs that offer additional benefits. The research also revealed a reduction in certain activities, such as dining out. In the discussion section of the thesis, the research results are analyzed, and recommendations for retailers of consumer goods are formulated based on these findings. These recommendations include the development of loyalty programs through personalized discounts and offers, the introduction of discounted food packages, the use of AI assistants for customer behavior analysis, and investments in energy-efficient technologies. These proposals aim to improve customer targeting, encourage regular purchases, and retain loyal customers. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo identifikovat a zhodnotit změny v nákupním chování spotřebitelů v reakci na vysokou inflaci a pandemii Covid-19. Výzkum se zaměřil na spotřebitele v celé České republice, napříč všemi věkovými kategoriemi a sociálními statusy. Práce obsahuje literární rešerši, která rozebírá důležité teoretické poznatky o spotřebiteli, jeho chování a specifikuje chování zákazníků. Na základě prozkoumání dostupné literatury byl navržen kvantitativní výzkum formou dotazníkového šetření, který měl za cíl získat primární data ve zkoumané oblasti. Výsledky výzkumu potvrdily stanovené hypotézy a ukázaly, že zvýšené ceny produktů vedly k omezení nákupů dražších potravin a zvýšené cenové citlivosti mezi spotřebiteli. Mnozí spotřebitelé začali více vyhledávat slevové akce a využívat věrnostní programy, které nabízejí další výhody. Výzkum rovněž odhalil, že došlo k omezení některých aktivit, jako je návštěva restaurací. V diskuzní části práce jsou analyzovány výsledky výzkumu a na jejich základě jsou formulovány návrhy a doporučení pro prodejce spotřebního zboží.
