2007 - Czech
Inbred and hybrid corn genotype grown from seeds treated in different concentrations of 24-epibrassinolide were exposed to 7 days long of droughtness. Some growth parameters proved positive influence of 24-epibrasinolide application. Inbrední a hybridní genotypy kukuřice (Zea mays L.), které byly pěstovány z obilek máčených před vysetím v různých koncentracích vodného roztoku 24-epibrassinolidu, byly vystaveny na 7 dní nedostatku vody. U některých růstových parametrů byl vliv ošetření statisticky průkazný. Keywords: corn; 24-epibrassinolide; stress; drougthness Available at various institutes of the ASCR

Effect of water utilisation on the differences between laboratory determined germinative capacity and field emergence rate
Bláha, L.; Kadlec, P.; Macháčková, Ivana; Hnilička, F.; Kohout, Ladislav
2006 - Czech
Application of 24-epibrassinolide partly improves the effect of water utilisation during seed germination, i.e. the rapidity of water uptake, decreases rapidity of water loss at drought conditions and capability of the growth at minimum possible water content. Vliv stresorů na semena částečně snižuje aplikace 24-epibrassinolidu na rostliny během vegetace tj. během růstu a vývoje semen. V práci jsou dále hodnoceny další znaky semen, včetně obsahu fytohormonů v jednotlivých podmínkách. Keywords: 24-epibrassinolide; water economy; germination Available at various institutes of the ASCR
