Report from the survey on life and work conditions of employees in ICT Prague: Technical and administrative staff (2 nd Wave)

Research report summarizes the results of the 2 nd wave of on-line survey conducted in the summer of 2016 on ICT Prague in the frame of the FP7 project TRIGGER. The survey, which included technical and administrative staff, focused on working conditions and gender equality at ICT. Výzkumná zpráva shrnuje výsledky druhé vlny on-line dotazníkové šetření provedeného v létě 2016 na VŠCHT Praha v rámci mezinárodního projektu 7. rámcového projektu TRIGGER. Dotazníkové šetření, které zahrnovalo technické a administrativní pracovníky a pracovnice, se zaměřilo na otázky pracovních podmínek a genderové rovnosti na VŠCHT.

First volume of new, third series of the project on Documents on Czechoslovak Foreign Policy contains documents from May to December 1945. The documents concentrate mainly the restoration of postwar-Czechoslovakia, Czechoslovak-Soviet relations (mainly cession of Subcarpathian Ruthenia), Czechoslovak-Polish conflict on Teschen, relief of UNRRA and another question. Documents are published including historical and editorial introduction, list of documents, English summaries of documents and name index. První svazek nové, třetí řady projektu Dokumenty československé zahraniční politiky přináší dokumenty od poloviny května do prosince 1945, které dokumentují zejména obnovu poválečného Československa, československo-sovětské vztahy (zejména odstoupení Podkarpatské Rusi), československo-polský konflikt na Těšínsku, pomoc ze strany UNRRA a další otázky. Dokumenty jsou publikovány včetně historického a edičního úvodu, seznamu dokumentů, anglických resumé a jmenného rejstříku.

Zpráva shrnující technické parametry a výsledky průzkumu veřejného mínění, které realizovalo CVVM SOÚ AV ČR formou zařazení otázek do omnibusového dotazníku kontinuálního projektu Naše společnost. Cílem šetření bylo zmapovat obraz České statistického úřadu u české veřejnosti a jeho změny v čase.\n

Position of men and women at ICT Prague: Report from analysis of aggregated statistics (2nd wave)

Research report summarizes the results of the analysis of aggregated statistics on women and men in ICT Prague. The main topics of the analysis were: the representation of men and women on a different levels of the academic hierarchy and leadership, the gender pay gap and the functioning of the Internal Grant Agency (IGA) and shifts between 2014 and 2016.\n Výzkumná zpráva shrnuje výsledky druhé vlny analýzy agregovaných statistik týkajících se postavení žen a mužů na VŠCHT Praha. Mezi hlavními tématy analýzy bylo zastoupení žena mužů mezi studujícími, na různých stupních akademické hierarchie a ve vedení, genderové platové rozdíly a fungování interní grantové agentury (IGA) a posun těchto ukazatelů mezi lety 2014 a 2016.

The study tried to design strategies aimed at reducing alcohol consumption among young people. Studie Mladí lidé a alkohol se zaměřila zejména na postoje a zvyky mladých lidí ve vztahu k alkoholu. Jejím cílem bylo navržení strategií směřující k omezení konzumace alkoholu mezi mladými lidmi.

Quality of publication output of scientific fields in Slovakia: an international comparison

This study covers in detail the publication output in scientific journals in Slovakia, based on articles published in the years 2010 – 2014 and included in the Web of Science (WoS) database and compares it with the output of 11 different countries. For our comparison, we have used the narrowly defined scientific fields used by the WoS to categorize the journals included in the database. The study compares both total publication output and outstanding publication output, i.e. the number of articles published in top scientific journals in the given field, based on their reputation in the academia. Táto štúdia podrobne mapuje časopisecký publikačný výkon na Slovensku zachytený v databáze Web of Science (WoS) za roky 2010 – 2014 a porovnáva ho s priemerným publikačným výkonom 11 ďalších krajín. Porovnania sú vykonané na úzko definovaných vedných odboroch, do ktorých WoS kategorizuje časopisy evidované v databáze. Štúdia porovnáva nielen celkový publikačný výkon, ale tiež excelentný publikačný výkon, t. j. počet publikácií výhradne v špičkových časopisoch v danom odbore na základe ich ohlasu v akademickom svete.

První svazek čtvrtého dílu z projektu Dokumenty československé zahraniční politiky přináší 249 dokumentů od ledna do července 1943, které dokumentují zejména návštěvu prezidenta Edvarda Beneše v USA, mezispojenecká jednání, vztahy Československa k velmocím, proces obnovy Československa v jeho předmnichovských hranicích, problémy v československo-polských vztazích po katyňském incidentu a další otázky.
