This report summarises outline of a report for evaluation of suitability of sites for emplacement o a deep geological repository on the basis of archive information and geological survey conducted from surface. Tato zpráva shrnuje dostupná data z lokality Čihadlo a hodnotit lokalitu podle kritérií odvozených pracovníky SÚRAO z požadavků SÚJB (nová vyhláška o umísťování jaderných zařízení) a MAAE (NS-R-3 rev.1 Site Evaluation for Nuclear Installations Safety Requirements, 2016, SSG-14 Geological Disposal Facilities for Radioactive Waste, 2011) na vlastnosti lokality, které mají vliv na dlouhodobou bezpečnost HÚ (Vokál et al., 2015). Lokality jsou hodnoceny podle následujících kategorií kritérií:\n1) Popsatelnost a predikovatelnost geologických vlastností lokalit\n2) Hydrogeologické vlastnosti lokalit\n3) Stabilita lokalit (seismická, klimatická, vertikální pohyby, postvulkanické jevy)\n4) Pravděpodobnost intruze (neúmyslného vzniku člověka do úložiště)\n5) Slučitelnost vlastnosti horninového masivu s inženýrskými bariérami\n6) Transportní vlastnosti lokalit

In the northern area of the mining quarters Doubrava and Karviná Doly I, the mining works are carried out at the boundary of the Dětmarovice and Doubrava Regional Authority. For this reason, the points in this area are stabilized on a regular basis twice a year in order to determine possible mine effects on surface and surface objects. Since 2014, the Institute of Geonics ASCR, v.v.i., Ostrava has been chosen as the contractor of these works. The results of the measurements are presented every year in the Final Report - Elevation Measurements in the Northern Area of Mining Doubrava and Karviná Mines I. V severní oblasti dobývacích prostorů Doubrava a Karviná Doly I na hranici KÚ Dětmarovice a Doubrava se realizují dobývací práce. Z toho důvodu jsou za účelem zjišťování možných důlních vlivů na povrch a povrchové objekty pravidelně dvakrát ročně výškově zaměřovány body v této oblasti stabilizované. Od roku 2014 byl za zhotovitele těchto prací vybrán Ústav geoniky AV ČR, v.v.i., Ostrava. Výsledky měření jsou každoročně prezentovány v závěrečné zprávě - Výšková měření v severní oblasti dobývacích prostorů Doubrava a Karviná Doly I.

The subject of the report is to continue the monitoring and measurement of stress changes in the rock mass following previous measurements from 1997-2016 in the vicinity of the reconnaissance galley using tenzometric bolts mounted in the ceiling and hips of the reconnaissance and access galleries. Measurements took place during 2017. Předmětem zprávy je pokračování sledování a měření změn napětí v horninovém masivu v návaznosti na předchozí měření z let 1997-2016 v okolí průzkumné štoly pomocí tenzometrických svorníků, zabudovaných do stropu a boků průzkumné a přístupové štoly. Měření probíhalo v průběhu roku 2017.

In the northern area of the mining quarters Doubrava and Karviná Doly I, the mining works are carried out at the boundary of the Dětmarovice and Doubrava Regional Authority. For this reason, the points in this area are stabilized on a regular basis twice a year in order to determine possible mine effects on surface and surface objects. Since 2014, the Institute of Geonics ASCR, v.v.i., Ostrava has been chosen as the contractor of these works. In June and November 2017, the campaign measures planned for this year were carried out, during which a total of 4 inter-related leveling routes were created. V severní oblasti dobývacích prostorů Doubrava a Karviná Doly I na hranici KÚ Dětmarovice a Doubrava se realizují dobývací práce. Z toho důvodu jsou za účelem zjišťování možných důlních vlivů na povrch a povrchové objekty pravidelně dvakrát ročně výškově zaměřovány body v této oblasti stabilizované. Od roku 2014 byl za zhotovitele těchto prací vybrán Ústav geoniky AV ČR, v.v.i., Ostrava. V červnu a listopadu 2017 se uskutečnily měřické kampaně plánované v tomto roce, během kterých bylo prováděno výškové zaměření celkem 4 vzájemně navazujících nivelačních tras, které jsou těmito body tvořeny.

Monitoring of the deformation stress state of the rock mass is a prerequisite for the verification of unapproved new mining methods hall-pillar and its further application in the Czech part of the Upper Silesian coal basin. This mining method is designed on the basis of experiences and practices that are verified in different natural conditions and depths below the surface and is therefore essential for the verification of conditions for the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Basin based on geotechnical monitoring. The present report is prepared on the basis of a contract no. 942/50/10, where the Institute of Geonics, v.v agrees to make periodic evaluation of monitoring data napěťodeformačního state of the rock mass. In accordance with the aforementioned agreement, the message is processed in the six-month period and continues in the interim report II / 2015 (Waclawik et al. 2015) passed buyers in April this year. Interim results of the geotechnical monitoring, such as the experience gained during the first conquest dobývky V show specifics of natural conditions in trial operation unapproved new mining methods hall-pillar. Monitoring napěťodeformačního stavu horninového masivu je nezbytným předpokladem pro ověření nové neschválené dobývací metody chodba-pilíř a jejího dalšího použití v podmínkách české části hornoslezské uhelné pánve. Tato dobývací metoda je projektována pouze na základě zkušeností a postupů, které jsou ověřeny v odlišných přírodních podmínkách a hloubkách pod povrchem a proto je nezbytná její verifikace pro podmínky české části hornoslezské pánve na základě geotechnického monitoringu. Předkládaná zpráva je zpracována na základě smlouvy o dílo č. 942/50/10, kde se Ústav Geoniky AV ČR, v.v zavazuje provádět pravidelné vyhodnocování dat monitoringu napěťodeformačního stavu horninového masivu. V souladu s výše uvedenou smlouvou, je zpráva zpracována v 6-ti měsíčním intervalu a navazuje tak na dílčí zprávu II/2015 (Waclawik et al. 2015) předanou odběrateli v dubnu tohoto roku. Průběžné výsledky geotechnického monitoringu, tak jak zkušenosti získané v době dobývání první dobývky V, ukazují na specifika přírodních podmínek v lokalitě zkušebního provozu nové neschválené dobývací metody chodba-pilíř.

Visualization of the internal structure of concrete based on brick recyclate using X-ray computed tomography

Pro účely vizualizace struktury vnitřní stavby betonu na bázi cihlového betonu byla použita nedestruktivní metoda 3D rentgenové počítačové tomografie. Analyzované vzorky byly systémovány na RTG počítačovém tomografu XT H 450 2D/3T firmy Nikon Metrology. Zpracování radiografických projekcí do CT objemu bylo provedeno pomocí softwaru CT pro 3D. Vlastní vizualizace, příprava tomografických řezů a analýza pórového prostoru byla zpracována v softwaru VGStudio MAX 2.2.

Summary of foreign knowledge about the origin and development of EDZ in crystalline rocks - research

Presented search summarizes findings of foreign research oriented on the origin and evolution of the excavation damaged zone in crystalline rocks with a particular focus on the essential results of experimental projects which were performed in Canada, Sweden, Finland, and Switzerland. The study is divided, excluding the introduction, into seven main chapters of the text, which gradually deal with: (1) definition of key terms, (2) overview of the main underground research laboratories in the world where EDZ assessment was conducted, (3) methods suitable for EDZ description and characterization, (4) main factors influencing the origin of failure around the excavations and time-dependent evolution of EDZ. An overview of important outcomes of EDZ experiments, focusing on the European hard rock laboratories (Stripa, Äspö, Onkalo/Olkiluoto and Grimsel), and their summary are presented in the final two chapters.\nThe review summarizing the published key findings and results of in situ experiments shows, that for rock in lower stress state, i.e. in no spalling environment, the extent and character of rock mass damage is typically dependent on the excavation method. Using mechanical excavation, rock damage zone with thickness less than 3 centimeters can be originated. The microcracks within this zone contribute to the increase of hydraulic conductivity of the rock mass. At some test sites (Äspö, Grimsel), where the tunnel boring machine technology was used, the damage zone was already detected in depth of less than 5 mm.\nOn the contrary, openings excavated by drilling and blasting are characterized by much more extensive damage zones up to several tens of centimeters in width. The damage progressively diminishes with the distance from the opening. Předložená rešerše shrnuje zahraniční poznatky o vzniku a vývoji EDZ v krystalinických horninách se zaměřením zejména na zásadní výsledky kanadského, švédského, finského a švýcarského výzkumného programu. Studie je rozdělena, kromě úvodu, do celkem sedmi hlavních textových kapitol, které se postupně věnují: (1) definici základních pojmů, (2) přehledu hlavních světových lokalit podzemních výzkumných laboratoří, na kterých byl prováděn výzkum EDZ, (3) metodám popisu a charakterizace EDZ, (4) hlavním faktorům ovlivňujícím vznik porušení okolo ražených děl a časovému vývoji EDZ. Přehled výsledků výzkumů EDZ se zaměřením na evropské podzemní laboratoře v krystalinických horninách (Stripa, Äspö, Onkalo/Olkiluoto a Grimsel) a jejich shrnutí je pak obsahem závěrečných dvou kapitol.\nZ provedené rešerše stěžejních publikovaných studií a výsledků in situ experimentů vyplývá, že pro horninový masiv s nízkou úrovní napětí, tj. v prostředí bez odlupování a odpadávání horniny je zvolená razící metoda základním řídícím faktorem, který určuje rozsah a charakter porušení. Použitím mechanického způsobu rozpojování se může vytvořit pásmo porušení horniny o mocnosti menší než 3 cm od stěny díla, ve kterém narůstá mikroporušení přispívající ke zvýšení hydraulické vodivosti. Na některých podzemních laboratořích (Äspö, Grimsel) byl, v případě ražby metodou TBM, zjištěn rozsah EDZ dokonce do 5 mm.\nNaopak ražba podzemního úložiště, resp. podzemních děl obecně za použití vrtání a trhacích prací může vytvářet mnohem rozsáhlejší poškození v okolí díla (řádově několik decimetrů) než je tomu u technologie TBM (první centimetry). Rozsah poškození se postupně snižuje se vzdáleností od stěny díla.

Geomorphological analysis of selected phenomena in the south-eastern area of the Dukovany nuclear power station (both the existing and new planned production units) – topographic arrangement, surface inclination, topolineaments, setting of fluvial sedeiments. The study was elaborated requested by ČEZ corporation (main Czech energetic producer) in connection with the assessment of seismic hazard of the numerous transverse WNW–ESE structures to the plant. Geomorfologická analýza vybraných jevů v oblasti jihovýchodně od stávajícího i nově plánovaného jaderného zařízení Elektrárny Dukovany – topografické uspořádání, sklonitost povrchu, lineamenty v reliéfu, pozice fluviálních sedimentů. Studie byla zpracována na požadavek české energetické společnosti ČEZ, a.s. v souvislosti s hodnocením seismického rizika četných příčných struktur směru ZSZ–VJV.
