Radio broadcasting and it´s changes

This bachelor thesis describes the connection of the radio with society from the early 20th century to the year 1992. The beginning of the thesis deals with the separate description of the radio as media. Another part comments the events which have a share in the flourishing of the radio or its fall. The radio was founded in the 20th century when this media affected millions of people. Since the beginning people did not know how to accept this medium. The radio had the function of a means of entertainment and education in its beginnings. The radio spread the information about what had happened in the society. There were many changes in staff and programme. The radio could only broadcast what was accepted by the society. The bachelor thesis describes the situation after the Velvet Revolution when the radio had to face the new possibilities of broadcasting. The banned writers came back and the radio became much more free after the revolution. The bachelor thesis is based on functionalist approach which is filled by others sociology theories in each parts. Ve své práci bych chtěla nastínit první experimenty s rozhlasovým vysíláním. Soustředila jsem se na úlohu, kterou sehrál rozhlas za obou světových válek a za komunistického režimu. Řada autorů se zabývá samotnou historií rozhlasu, ale věnují se pouze určitým časovým úsekům, který rozhlas poznamenaly či mu přispěly k rozkvětu. Jako první byly vybrány roky 1942 a 1948, kdy byl rozhlas pod nadvládou nacistů a komunistů, kteří si moc dobře uvědomovali, v čem je jeho síla, a proto se snažili do všech vyšších funkcí dosadit svoje lidi. Dále rok 1968, ve kterém se stal rozhlas pouze nástrojem politické moci. Některé pořady byly zakázány, jiné upraveny. Tato situace se obrátila v roce 1989, kdy se rozhlas vymanil z cenzury. Došlo k návratu zakázaných autorů do vysílání a do rozhlasu se vrátila svoboda projevu. Historii rozhlasu používám jako materiál, který bude sociologicky interpretován. Rámec mojí práce bude spočívat na funkcionalistické teorii médií, s tím, že pro jednotlivé časové období budou využity další sociologické teorie. Průběžně představím historii rozhlasu a sociologické teorie, kterými je vhodné tato historická fakta interpretovat.

Emphasis is placed on the experiences of blind people in everyday life for orientation in space, color perception, communication with other people and their dreams. Work reveals what is the perspective of the world from the position of a blind man. Bakalářská práce se zabývá tím, jakým způsobem nevidomí vnímají okolní svět. Důraz je kladen na prožitky slepců v každodenním životě při orientaci v prostoru, vnímání barev, komunikace s ostatními lidmi a na jejich sny. Práce odhaluje jaká je perspektiva světa z pozice slepého člověka.

In 2003, Donna Haraway wrote a groundbreaking text , in which , inter alia, indicated that for sociology there is a new research area focusing on prosecuting relationships between different species. The aim of this work is to describe the emergence of such a relationship between a guide dog and a blind man. This relationship is very specific . Within this framework it establishes Latour´s hybrid where using different network providers blur the distinction between nature and society . As part of my work will be undertaken in - depth interviews with people from training centers and blind clients. These interviews I will try to support the argument that the dog has its own personality and is capable of autonomous decision-making and that, thanks to the work of mediation leads to aggregate formation between the blind man and the guide dog . V roce 2003 Donna Haraway napsala průlomový text, ve kterém mimo jiné naznačila, že pro sociologii existuje nová výzkumná oblast zaměřující se na postihování vztahů mezi odlišnými druhy. Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat vznik takového vztahu mezi vodícím psem a nevidomým člověkem. Tento vztah je velmi specifický. V jeho rámci se ustanovuje Latourovský hybrid, kde se za využití různých sítí zprostředkovatelů stírají rozdíly mezi přírodou a společností. V rámci mé práce proběhnou polo - strukturované rozhovory s lidmi z výcvikového střediska a s nevidomými klienty. Těmito rozhovory se budu snažit podpořit argument, že pes má vlastní subjektivitu a je schopen autonomního rozhodování a že díky práci zprostředkování dochází ke vzniku agregátu mezi nevidomým člověkem a vodícím psem.

Sexuality of transsexuals FtM

This bachelor thesis deals with sexuality of transsexuals FtM. The purpose of this thesis is to examine how transsexuals (FtM) experience their sexuality, how they relate to standards of female and male sexuality, how they perceive and construct their identity and if their expression of sexuality has changes in the process of their transition to opposite gender. Theoretical part is largely based on Foucault's The History of Sexuality. The research is based on qualitative methodology and consists of phenomenological examination. 14 people who have been diagnosed as transsexuals participated in this research. Bakalářská práce se zabývá sexualitou u transsexuálů FtM. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jakým způsobem transsexuálové (FtM) prožívají svoji sexualitu, jakým způsobem se vztahují k normám ženské a mužské sexuality, jak je vnímají a sami konstruují a zda se proměňuje jejich vyjádření sexuality během přeměny. Práce z velké části vychází z Foucaultových Dějin sexuality. Kvalitativní výzkum je uchopen jako fenomenologické zkoumání, vychází z rozhovorů se 14 lidmi, kterým byla diagnostikována transsexualita.

Attitudes of singles to partnership and family life in the Czech Republic

The aim of this qualitative study is to understand the attitudes of the partnerships, marriages and parenthoods of contemporary singles in the Czech Republic. The first part is devoted to theoretical context which summarizes singles theory and previous researches. The second part is devoted to methodological chapter.I use semi-structured interview and thematic analysis. The results of this study allow us to understand the problems with establishing the relationships and the ability to maintain long-term relationship. Cílem kvalitativní studie je snaha o pochopení postojů na partnerství, manželství a rodičovství současných singles v České republice. První část je věnována teoretickému kontextu, který shrnuje teorii singles a dosavadní výzkumy. Druhá část práce zahrnuje metodologickou kapitolu. Data jsou zjišťována skrze polo-strukturované rozhovory a následně zpracována pomocí tematické analýzy. Výsledky této práce nám umožňují blíže pochopit problémy singles s navazováním vztahů a schopností si dlouhodobý vztah udržet.

The phenomenon singles as a lifestyle

The thesis focuses on individuals that are called singles, it means people who are not married and not in relationship. Those who decided to live alone optionally are especially important in this work. It means that being single is part of their identity and personality as well as their way of life. The thesis makes an inquiry whether there is questioning or impeachment of being single, and if the answer is positive, what kind of defence singles choose. Chosen methodology of the thesis is qualitative. Half structured interviews were taken with eight chosen participants. The age of the participants was between 21 and 39 years and both sexes were equally represented. Gender perspective was also included in the research, because the requierement of the society on single men is different from requirement on single women. Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na jedince, kteří se ve společnosti označují pod anglickým slovem singles, tedy nesezdaný a nezadaný jedinci. V této práci jsou především důležití ti, kteří se rozhodli žít sami dobrovolně. To znamená, že singlovství se stálo součástí jejich identity a osobnosti a zároveň i jejich životním stylem. Tato práce zjišťuje, jestli dochází k problematizování či zpochybnění singlovství a pokud ano, tak jakou singles volí obhajobu či strategii před případnými tlaky okolí. Zvolená metodologie práce je kvalitativní. S osmi vybranými participanty a participantkami se prováděli polostrukturované rozhovory. Věk participantu/tek byl v rozmezí 21-39 a rozdělení obou kategorií participantů/tek bylo rovnoměrné. Do výzkumu se zapojila i genderová perspektiva, protože nároky společnosti na single muže se liší od nároků na single ženy.

Armed Resistance against the Communist Regime in Czechoslovakia and its Reflection in Contemporary Media

The presented thesis deals with the armed anti-communist resistance in the
fifties of the twentieth century in Czechoslovakia. The thesis evaluates
several cases under the current historiographical sources through the
perspective of contemporary media. It deals with the issue of Mašín
brothers, with the group "Black Lion 777", with the case of Babice and with
the resistance group of Vladivoj Tomek. These cases and their media
depiction are compared with one another. The diploma thesis explains the
contradictions in the-then interpretation of examined cases compared to the
current state of historical knowledge Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá ozbrojeným protikomunistickým odporem v padesátých letech dvacátého století v Československu. Práce hodnotí dobové případy podle současných historiografických zdrojů, v další části pak podle dobových médií. Zabývá se skupinou bratrů Mašínů, skupinou Černý lev 777, Babickým případem a skupinou Vladivoje Tomka. Tyto případy a jejich mediální reflexe jsou vzájemně komparovány. Práce objasňuje rozpory v dobovém pojetí případů oproti současnému stavu historické poznání.

The thesis on Regional Geography States Gulf of Guinea the project teaching using interactive whiteboards consists of several constituent parts.
The first part is a geographic research involving the collection, analysis, comparison and visualization of secondary data and information about the US Gulf of Guinea. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the physical geographic and socio-economic characteristics of the States Gulf of Guinea.
The main goal of this thesis is the content analysis of five geography student´s books for secondary schools, particularly parts concerning Africa. The purpose of the content analysis of these student´s books is a comprehensive idea of how and to what extent are the information of the Gulf of Guinea processed. The following part of the thesis is focused on project-based learning, which is theoretically presented. Moreover, there is also described the preparation and implementation of the proposed educational project "West Africa downstream of Niger, or how to live on the Gulf of Guinea", which has been verified in practice.
The evaluation of the project´s contribution to the pupils is summarized in the final part of the thesis. Diplomová práce na téma Regionální geografie států Guinejského zálivu - projektové vyučování s využitím interaktivní tabule se skládá z několika částí.
První částí je geografický výzkum spočívající ve sběru, analýze, komparaci a vizualizaci sekundárních dat a informací o státech Guinejského zálivu. V teoretické části je představena fyzicko-geografická a socioekonomická charakteristika států Guinejského zálivu.
Jedním z cílů této práce je obsahová analýza pěti učebnic zeměpisu pro střední školy, konkrétně těch částí, které se týkají Afriky. Účelem obsahové analýzy učebnic je ucelená představa o tom, jakým způsobem a do jaké míry jsou informace o Guinejském zálivu zpracovány.
Další část diplomové práce je zaměřena na projektové vyučování, které je zde krátce teoreticky představeno. Následně popisuje přípravu a realizaci navrženého výukového projektu Západní Afrika po proudu Nigeru, aneb jak se žije na pobřeží Guinejského zálivu, který byl ověřen v praxi.
V závěru této diplomové práce je zhodnocení projektu jeho přínos pro žáky.

Práce je založena na metodě orální historie, jako prostředku k zachycení kultury všedního dne. Práce se zaměřila na zmapování zkušeností dvou generací.

Crimea between Russia and Ukraine

The thesis deals with the problematic situation of the Crimean peninsula between the Russian Federation and Ukraine and with the evolution of triangular relationship between Crimea, Russia and Ukraine. Due to its strategic position, the Crimea was an object of interest of many superpowers, which have kept fighting for the Crimean territory. That is the reason why the peninsula was the part of many empires, from the Crimean Tatars, over the Ottoman Empire, Tsarist and Soviet Russia to independent Ukraine. Therefore its present ethnic structure is very unstable. Currently, Crimea is again under rule of Russian Federation, which has annexed it last year.
The evolution of this triangular relationship is analyzed in two ways. First way deals with relations of Russian Federation and Crimea. Analysis of this way is based on geopolitics. Second way deals with inner relation between Ukrainian government and Autonomous republic of Crimea. This is based is based on analysis of Ukrainian regionalism and Crimean separatism. The analysis of these ways is focused on the period of dissolution of the Soviet Union far to the annexation of Crimea by Russian Federation.
There are a several research questions to be answered. First question concerns why the Crimea is so important to the Russian Federation that the Russian Federation had to annex it. The author also addresses the question of why the annexation of the Crimea has happened at 2014 and not before. Finally, the author examines how Vladimir Putin advocated the annexation. Diplomová práce se zabývá problematickým postavením Krymského poloostrova mezi Ruskou federací a Ukrajinou a vývojem trojúhelníkového vztahu mezi Krymem, Ruskem a Ukrajinou. Krym byl kvůli své strategické poloze objektem zájmu mnoha velmocí, které o něj vedly krvavé boje. Poloostrov byl tak součástí mnoha říší, od krymských Tatarů, přes Osmanskou říši, carské a následně sovětské Rusko až po nezávislou Ukrajinu a proto je jeho dnešní etnická struktura velmi nestabilní. V současnosti se Krym opět dostal do područí Ruské federace, která jej anektovala na počátku minulého roku.
Vývoj tohoto trojúhelníkového vztahu je analyzován ve dvou liniích. První linie se zabývá vztahem Ruské federace vůči Krymu a Ukrajině. Analýza této linie je založena geopolitickém základu. Druhá linie se pak zabývá vnitrostátním vztahem mezi ukrajinskou vládou a Autonomní republikou Krym. Tato linie je založena na analýze ukrajinského regionalismu a krymského separatismu. Analýza linií je zaměřena na období od rozpadu Sovětského svazu až po anexi Krymu Ruskou federací.
Autor si v práci položil několik výzkumných otázek. První otázka se týká, proč je Krym pro Ruskou federaci tak důležitý, že jej musela anektovat. Dále se autor zabývá otázkou, proč došlo k anexi Krymu v roce 2014 a ne dříve. Nakonec se autor věnuje tomu, jak Vladimír Putin samotnou anexi obhajoval.
