This report describes the development of an active laser head. This report is separated into two sections. First section describes a development of laser head with the rectangular spot. The second section describes a development of welding laser head with the adaptive zoom. Zpráva popisuje vývoj aktivní laserové hlavice. Zpráva je rozdělena do dvou etap. První etapa popisuje vývoj navařovací laserové hlavice s obdélníkovým spotem. Druhá část popisuje vývoj svařovací hlavice s proměnným zvětšením.

Attaining surface homogeneity in the deposition of complex layer systems

We report on a procedure of optimization of a thin-film deposition process with respect to the best attainable layer homogeneity on a large deposited surface. By using a deposition mask and rotation of the deposition calotte, we reach the homogeneity of ± 0.5% for samples with the diameter up to 5 cm. Furthermore, we investigate the effect of substrate tilt and of a deposition on a curved lens surface with respect to homogeneity of the deposited layer. V této zprávě popisujeme postup optimalizace depozice interferenčního filtru s cílem dosáhnout homogenní tloušťky vrstvy na co největším rozsahu deponované plochy. Za použití depoziční masky a rotace depoziční kaloty dosahujeme homogenity ± 0.5% pro vzorky do průměru 5 cm. Zkoumáme poté vliv naklonění substrátu a depozici na zakřivený povrch čočky na homogenitu deponované vrstvy.

This report describes a development of optical solution for the Prototype I. There is a development of laser collimator in the firt part of this report. You can find a development of freeform optics in the second part of this report. V této práci byly zkoumány jednak možnosti klasického leštění nikl-fosforové (NiP) vrstvy pomocí diamantových leštících suspenzí, dále pomocí Ceroxu jakožto standartního optického leštiva a v neposlední řadě možnosti využití CNC subaperturního leštění pro dosažení optickými aplikacemi vyžadované mikrodrsnosti resp. pro potlačení periodických povrchových struktur vznikajících při procesech opracování pomocí technologie Single Point Diamond Turning.

NATAP – polishing of CNT composites

Examined samples are of carbon composite material composed of a cyanoester resin (matrix), carbon fibers (in the form of a fabric) and a carbon nanotube layer (in the form of a piece of paper). The report contains a description of the development of polishing such material on a PU polishing pad in combination with a CeO2 slurry. Zkoumané vzorky jsou uhlíkový kompozitní materiál složený z kyanoesterové pryskyřice (matrice), uhlíkových vláken (ve formě tkaniny) a vrstvy uhlíkových nanotrubic (ve formě bucky paperu). Zpráva obsahuje popis vývoje leštění tohoto materiálu na podložce z PU v kombinaci s leštivem CeO2.
