The presentation brings basic information about the history of audio documents, the current situation in terms of processing and care in the Czech Republic. It introduces the main current projects - the portal Virtual National Phonoteque and the New Phonograph and grant programs usabel for libraries. Prezentace přináší základní informace o oblasti historie zvukových dokumentů, o aktuální situaci z hlediska zpracovávání a péče o ně v ČR. Seznamuje s hlavními současnými projekty tj. s portálem Virtuální národní fonotéka a s Novým fonografem a s dotačními programy.

Between Morphology and Word-formation: the Grammatical Category of Number in Toponyms

The paper deals with the specific functions of the grammatical category of number in Czech toponyms. As proper nouns form a specific sphere of the language, also their grammatical categories may display differences from the core of the lexicon. In many toponyms the plural ending does not fulfil the usual role of the grammatical ending, for it does not express the plurality or the multiple character of the object (e.g. the fact that the object consists of several parts). The use of the plural ending is merely analogical in many toponyms, the analogy is based on mechanical imitation of the form of other toponyms. In these cases the plural ending functions rather as a derivative word-formation suffix than a mere grammatical ending. On the other hand, in some toponyms the grammatical function of the plural ending is still kept. The decisive criterion for the detection of the function of the plural ending is based on the details of the given naming act. Příspěvek se zabývá specifickými funkcemi gramatické kategorie čísla u českých toponym. Vzhledem k tomu, že propria vytvářejí specifickou vrstvu jazyka, i jejich gramatické kategorie mohou vykazovat jisté odlišnosti. U mnoha toponym plurálové zakončení neplní svou obvyklou úlohu pouhé gramatické koncovky, protože nevyjadřuje pluralitu nebo vícečetný charakter objektu (např. skutečnost, že objekt sestává z více částí). Užití plurálového zakončení je u mnoha toponym analogické, analogie je založena na mechanickém napodobení formy jiných toponym. V těchto případech plurálové zakončení plní spíše funkci derivačního slovotvorného sufixu než úlohu pouhé gramatické koncovky. U některých toponym je však gramatická funkce plurálové koncovky zachována. Rozhodující kritérium pro rozpoznání funkce plurálového zakončení je založeno na vyhodnocení podrobností daného propriálně pojmenovacího aktu.

On Known and Unknown Names of Minerals

This article is focused on names of minerals. We analyzed lexical material of The Academic Dictionary of Contemporary Czech (Akademický slovník současné češtiny (ASSČ), first part: letter A) and of publication Nerostopis čili Mineralogia (Presl, 1837). We discuss the word formation, semantic motivation and naming process in group of names of minerals. The aim of the article is to present the structure of mineral name in the entry in ASSČ. V příspěvku je věnována pozornost názvům minerálů. Při analýze lexikálního materiálu vycházíme z hesláře písmene A připravovaného Akademického slovníku současné češtiny (ASSČ) a z publikace Nerostopis čili Mineralogia (z roku 1837) Jana Svatopluka Presla. Zaměřujeme se na sémantickou motivaci vzniku názvů minerálů a na pojmenovací postupy, které jsou při pojmenovávání minerálů využívány. Představujeme strukturu heslového odstavce terminologických hesel, názvů minerálů, v ASSČ.

Bolts loading in the stronly stressed rock mass

The trial test of new mining method “Roadway-Pillar” was finished at the underground coal mine – ČSM Mine. The wide ranging monitoring was focused on the load bearing capacity of coal pillars and strata deformation changes induced by the roadway-pillar mining method. The results of monitoring allowed bolts loading and loading characteristics to be described. Further, an attempt is made to understand the rock bolt loading characteristics at different stages of rib dilation using numerical modelling with the available properties of rock mass and reinforcement for the studied site. Elastic and Mohr Coulomb strain-softening constitutive models are considered in FLAC3D to evaluate the performance of the rock bolts. Při zkušebním provozu modifikované metody komora-pilíř s ponechanými stabilními pilíři, nazvané chodba-pilíř byla na Dole ČSM použita svorníková výztuž stropu a boků chodeb (stěn ponechaných pilířů). Zatížení a deformace svorníků byly měřeny v rámci rozsáhlého geotechnického monitoringu [1,2]. Následně bylo použito matematického modelování v softwaru Itasca FLAC3D [3] pro lepší objasnění zatěžovacích charakteristik svorníkové výztuže.

Determination of fast changes in concentrations of volatile organic compounds was performed using wet effluent diffusion denuder, which allows collection of samples in 2-min intervals. Stanovení rychlých změn koncentrací těkavých organických sloučenin bylo provedeno využitím difúzního denuderu se stékajícím filmem kapaliny, který umožňuje odběr vzorků v časových intervalech již od 2 minut.

Organic compounds and markers from coal combustion in different types of boilers used for household heating

Organic compounds (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) and organic markers (hopanes) used for the identification of aerosol emission sources were measured in emissions from the combustion of hard and brown coal. Coal was combusted in different\nboilers used for residential heating in the Czech Republic, i.e., overfire boiler, boiler with down-draft combustion and automatic boiler. Organické sloučeniny (polycyklické aromatické uhlovodíky) a organické markery (hopany) používané pro identifikaci zdrojů aerosolů byly měřeny v emisích ze spalování černého a hnědého uhlí. Uhlí bylo spalováno v různých kotlích používaných pro vytápění domácností v České republice, tj. prohořívací, odhořívací a automatický kotel.

Open Science (neboli Otevřená věda) je termín, který se v posledních letech dostává v akademickém prostředí výrazně do popředí a zaujímá důležité místo. Touto problematikou se zabývá čím dál více entit. Hlavním propagátorem je Evropská komise a je zřejmé, že dříve či později se dotkne mnoha vědeckých pracovníků, zejména těch, kteří pro svou práci čerpají evropskou finanční podporu. Open Science lze definovat jako vědecký proces, v němž mohou všichni spolupracovat a přispívat do něj. Výzkumná data, laboratorní poznámky, vědecké výstupy a další vědecké procesy budou volně dostupné, za podmínek, které umožňují opakované použití, redistribuci a reprodukci výzkumu včetně jejich podkladových dat a metod.\n

Influence of uncertainty in the determination of rheological properties of thickened wastewater sludge on the calculation of the pipeline flow friction loss

The paper deals with the rheological properties of wastewater sludge and their influence on the determination of energy requirements of pipeline sludge transport. The paper uses a database of rheological parameters consisting of the results of 67 measurements of various wastewater sludge. At the measured values, the uncertainty in the determination of the rheological parameter values for the sludge of a certain concentration is converted to the uncertainty in the calculation of friction losses in the laminar as well as turbulent flow regime. Different approaches and models are used and compared the in the calculation of friction losses. The uncertainty analysis also includes the uncertainty arising from the use of different predictive approaches and/or computational models.\n Příspěvek se zabývá reologickými vlastnostmi čistírenských kalů a jejich vlivem na určování energetické náročnosti potrubní dopravy kalů. V příspěvku je využita databáze reologických parametrů složená z výsledků 67 měření různých čistírenských kalů. Na naměřených hodnotách je zjištěná nejistota v určení hodnot reologických parametrů pro kal určité koncentrace převedena na vyjádření nejistoty při výpočtu ztrát třením v laminárním, resp. turbulentním režimu proudění. Při výpočtu ztrát třením jsou použity a porovnány různé přístupy a modely, přičemž součástí analýzy nejistot je i nejistota plynoucí z použití různých předpovědních přístupů, resp. výpočtových modelů.

Národní technická knihovna je od r. 2018 správcem a provozovatelem Virtuální národní fonotéky (VNF). Z pověření Ministerstva kultury pro VNF vyplývá také povinnost plnit funkci sektorového agregátora pro oblast zvukových dokumentů ve vztahu k chystanému národnímu informačnímu kulturnímu portálu. Původním a základním posláním VNF je být agregovanou databází metadat zvukových dokumentů, s odkazy do lokálních portálů a katalogů institucí různého typu a s informacemi o podmínkách dostupnosti požadovaných nahrávek. Usilujeme o to, aby se VNF ubírala i dalšími směry, které by rozvíjely tyto primární funkce tak, aby se Fonotéka stala vstupním bodem pro zájemce o problematiku zvukových dokumentů a přispěla k záchraně a prezentaci národního zvukového kulturního dědictví. Zde se neobejdeme bez spolupráce s dalšími partnery v oblasti zvukových dokumentů.
