Research report. Experimental study of effects of various consolidants on mechanical characteristics of historic lime render
Slížková, Zuzana
2019 - Czech
The chemical-physical properties of the historical lime render to be restored were tested and then the tests of consolidation effects using liquid consolidants based on ethyl silicate and nano-calcium dispersion were performed. The highest strengthening effect was achieved by double treatment of the render with product Remmers KSE 300 (based on ethyl silicate). Due to the required hydrophilic properties of the render after consolidation, the final treatment of the render with a nanolime suspension, eg CaLosil IP 15 or CaLoSiL E 25, was recommended. Byly zjištěny chemicko-fyzikální vlastnosti historické vápenné omítky vyžadující zpevnění a provedeny zkoušky zpevnění ethylsilikátem a nanovápennou disperzí. Keywords: historic lime mortar; consolidation; historic render; strengthening, ethylsilicate; nanolime suspension Available in a digital repository NRGL

Monitoring the movement of the cemetery church Vsech svatych in Kutna Hora - Sedlec
Zíma, Pavel; Drdácký, Miloš
2019 - Czech
The cemetery church Vsech svatych above the ossuary in Kutna Hora Sedlec is a part of a cultural monument of world importance. In view of the planned and later realized archaeological and construction activities in its immediate vicinity, there was a requirement to monitor in long-term its movements, especially the tilt of the towers and the entire building. The deformations of the floors in the ossuary signalized the possibility of the instability of the church's foundation and the danger of the appearance and development of faults in its masonry structures. Hřbitovní kostel Všech svatých nad kostnicí v Kutné Hoře Sedlci je součástí kulturní památky světového významu. Vzhledem k plánovaným a posléze i realizovaným archeologickým i stavebním aktivitám v jeho blízkém okolí vznikl požadavek sledovat\ndlouhodobě jeho pohyby, zejména náklon věží i celé budovy. Deformace podlah v kostnici signalizovaly možnost nestability založení kostela a nebezpečí vzniku a rozvoje poruch jeho zděných konstrukcí. Keywords: Kutna Hora Sedlec; long-term monitoring; deformation Available at various institutes of the ASCR

Chemical and mineralogical analyses of plaster samples from State Castle Bečov
Slížková, Zuzana; Koudelková, Veronika; Kozlovcev, Petr; Šterner, Adam
2018 - Czech
Using chemical and microscopic analysis, it was determined that the analyzed sample of bedding mortar from the 13th century (Czech castle Bečov) is the air lime mortar with the quartz and silicate sand enriched by some content of slag grains. The internal plaster from the same building period of the castle was made using the lime-earthen mortar with predominantly silicate sand. The plaster contained an admixture of wood or plant particles, sawdust has been identified.\n\n Pomocí chemické a mikroskopické analýzy bylo určeno, že analyzovaný vzorek malty z 13. stol. je vápenná malta s převážně křemenným a silikátovým pískem a vnitřní omítka z 13. stol. byla provedena z malty vápenohliněné s převážně silikátovým plnivem. Omítka obsahuje příměs dřevěných či rostlinných částic, byly identifikovány piliny. Malta obsahuje kousky strusky.
