Motivation as a tool of performance management

Motivation as a tool for performance management is the topic of this thesis. At the beginning of the thesis is discussed theoretical part. This section covers the basic idea of motivation and its impact on human resources management and thus staff. On the basis of professional materials studied are set out the main motivational theories that affect the behavior and performance of employees. Following by a survey contained in the practical part. The questionnaire was developed based on motivation theories and their mentioned factors influencing the performance of employees. The questionnaire addressed communication, relationships, motivation and work process. Included are basic elements of the motives and demotivation, covering aspects of employee satisfaction on various factors at work. Survey results should thus serve as a way to improve the incentive system of the organization and provision of the draft resolution. Thus, the proposed solutions should ideally lead to more efficient performance of the work in the organization. Motivace jako nástroj řízení výkonnosti je téma této diplomové práce. Na začátku diplomové práce je řešena teoretická část. Tato část se zabývá základní myšlenkou motivace a jejího vlivu na řízení lidských zdrojů a tedy pracovníků. Na základě nastudovaných odborných materiálů jsou zde řešeny hlavní motivační teorie, které mají vliv na chování a výkon zaměstnanců. Následuje dotazníkové šetření obsažené v praktické části práce. Dotazník byl vytvořen na základě motivačních teorií a jejich zmíněných faktorů vlivu na výkon zaměstnanců. V dotazníku jsou řešeny oblasti komunikace, vztahů, motivace a pracovního procesu. Obsaženy jsou základní prvky motivů a oblasti demotivace, zahrnující aspekty spokojenosti pracovníků s různými faktory při výkonu práce. Výsledky dotazníku by tak měly sloužit jako směr pro zlepšení motivačního systému dané organizace a poskytnutí návrhu řešení. Takto navrhnuté řešení by mělo ideálně vést k efektivnější výkonnosti práce v dané organizaci.

The master thesis introduces the educational systems in the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, with focus on England. When assigning the master thesis topic, the author did not realize how extensive and complex the topic was. Therefore, while studying documents, reserching information, and finding respondents, the topic of the thesis narrowed to focus only on the educational systems of both countries and their comparison from the teachers´point of view. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is built on information gained from studying documents. The author will present both systems, their history, basic features, and the individual stages of education. Concerning this topic, a relatively sufficient amount of literary and online resources exists. The practical part of the thesis introduces the results of a qualitative research. As a part of this thesis, ten interviews with teachers who have experience with both the Czech and English educational systems took place. Due to the broadness of the topic, the author has chosen the above mentioned qualitative research, specifically a semi-structured interview, which allows the topic to be researched thoroughly. The teachers had an opportunity to share their knowledge and experience, which they gained throughout their careers. The interviews enabled the author to gain new information which were not found in literature. The personal experiences brought a certain amount of authenticity to the thesis. The conclusion of the thesis consists of a summary of the information the author has managed to gather. Diplomová práce představuje vzdělávací systémy České republiky a Anglie. Při zadávání tématu diplomové práce si autorka neuvědomovala obsáhlost a složitost problematiky. Proto v průběhu studia dokumentů, vyhledávání informací a hledání respondentů došlo k užšímu zaměření práce pouze na srovnávání vzdělávacích systémů obou zemí a jejich porovnání z pohledu pedagoga. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část staví na informacích získaných studiem dokumentů. Autorka představí oba systémy, jejich historii, základní znaky a jednotlivé úrovně školství. K řešené problematice existuje poměrně dostatečné množství literárních i internetových zdrojů. Praktická část práce představuje výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu. V rámci práce proběhlo deset rozhovorů s pedagogy, kteří mají zkušenost s českým i anglickým vzdělávacím systémem. Kvůli obsáhlosti tématu si autorka vybrala právě kvalitativní výzkum, konkrétně polostrukturovaný rozhovor, který umožňuje dané téma prozkoumat do hloubky. Učitelé měli možnost sdělit své poznatky a zkušenosti, které získali v rámci svého profesního života. Díky uskutečněným rozhovorům měla autorka práce možnost objevit nové informace, které se z literatury nedozvěděla. Osobní prožitek respondentů přinesl práci určitou autentičnost. V závěru práce je uvedeno shrnutí informací, které se autorce podařilo sesbírat.

This work deals with regional policy and its role in development of the village Církvice.
The first part describes regional policy and its characteristics, development, principles, tools and targets in the Czech Republic and the European Union. The second part focuses
on the village Církvice, which is located in the Central Bohemian Region, between
the historic towns Čáslav and Kutná Hora. In this section, there is contained not only general characteristics of the village, but also its geographic and demographic specifications,
the state of the transport and technical infrastructure, the level of the civic amenities
and there is also a view on the unemployment rate, social structure and the possibility
of cultural and sports activities in the village. Also, there is proposed the project
for the drowdown of the subsidies from EU funds, which will ensure the further development of the village and new opportunities for the residents of the village. The results were obtained based on the semi-structured interviews with the Mayor and other employees
of the municipal office. The conclusion of the work is dedicated to the evaluation
of the impact of regional policy on the development of the village Církvice. Tato práce se zabývá regionální politikou a její úlohou v rozvoji obce Církvice. První část práce popisuje regionální politiku a její charakteristiku, vývoj, principy, nástroje a cíle
v České republice a Evropské unii. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na obec Církvice,
která se nachází ve Středočeském kraji, mezi historickými městy Čáslav a Kutná Hora.
V této části je obsažena nejen obecná charakteristika obce, ale také její geografická
a demografická specifikace, stav dopravní a technické infrastruktury, úroveň občanské vybavenosti a nechybí ani pohled na míru nezaměstnanosti, sociální strukturu či možnosti kulturního a sportovního vyžití obyvatel. Hlavním cílem práce je analýza fungování regionální politiky, zainteresovaných objektů, rozvojových dokumentů a poskytovaných
a přijímaných dotací, sestavovaného rozpočtu, vývoji příjmů a výdajů či zrealizovaných projektů. Práce obsahuje projekt, kterým bylo dosaženo zkvalitnění sportovních
a volnočasových aktivit v obci. Navržen je zde i projekt pro čerpání dotace z fondů Evropské unie, který zajistí další rozvoj obce a nové možnosti občanů. Výsledky byly získané
na základě polostandardizovaných rozhovorů se starostou obce a ostatními pracovníky obecního úřadu. Závěr práce se věnuje zhodnocení vlivu regionální politiky na rozvoj obce Církvice.

The master thesis focuses on effective ways of fundraising for non-profit organizations. Its aim is to design the aforementioned methods, because fundraising has become a critical discipline for non-profit organizations in the pursuit of sustainable funding. Mastering appropriate fundraising methods and establishing relationships with donors, organizations ensure not only peace but also the freedom to make decisions and can fulfill its mission. With an effective attracting funding also related communication outwards With an effective attracting funding also related communication outwards because with no promotion is difficult to obtain an individual or corporate donors. The research is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative part is based on a survey, which deals with non-profit organizations and their fundraising. Further investigation is focused on the money that is spent on fundraising and the success of fund-raising projects. The qualitative part consists of semi-structured interviews that help to understand the deeper areas detected. From the survey results and interviews is compiled vivid picture of contemporary fundraising in the Czech environment and proposing effective methods of funding. Fundraising is seen as a vital discipline for the sustainability of organizations, but a minimum of them makes it to the professional level. It was also found that the Czech non-profit environment due to their delayed development offers great scope for practicing new fundraising methods, which are commonly used abroad. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na efektivní způsoby získávání financí pro nestátní neziskové organizace. Jejím záměrem je návrh výše zmíněných způsobů, protože právě fundraising se stává kritickou disciplínou pro neziskové organizace ve snaze o udržitelné financování. Ovládnutím vhodných fundraisingových metod a navázáním vztahu s donory si organizace zajistí nejen klid, ale také svobodu pro své rozhodování a může tak plnit své poslání. S efektivním získáváním financí také souvisí komunikace směrem ven, neboť bez propagace organizace jen těžko získá individuální, nebo firemní dárce. Výzkum se opírá o kombinaci kvantitativních a kvalitativních přístupů. Kvantitativní část práce je založena na dotazníkovém šetření, které se zabývá neziskovými organizacemi a jejich fundraisingem . Dále je šetření zaměřeno na finance, které jsou na fundraising vynakládány a úspěšnost fundraisingových projektů. Kvalitativní část práce je tvořena polostrukturovanými rozhovory, které pomohou porozumět detekovaným oblastem hlouběji. Z výsledků dotazníkového šetření a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů je sestaven plastický obraz současného fundraisingu v českém prostředí a navrhuje efektivní způsoby financování. Fundraising je vnímán jako zásadní disciplínou pro udržitelnost organizací, ale minimum z nich ho dělá na profesionální úrovni. Také bylo zjištěno, že české neziskové prostředí díky svému opožděnému vývoji nabízí velký prostor pro praktikování nových fundraisingových metod, které jsou běžně užívány v zahraničí.

This thesis tends to analyse development of mortgage loans in the Czech republic, where due to decreasing interest rate in few past years is wanted way of purchasing real property. Using statistical timelines analysis is set main structure of mortgage purchasing development by number of approved morgages loan, in the period from 2002 to 2015. Based on this analysis, it is forecasted the future development of the number of mortgage loans, volume of mortgage loans and number of hans according to the provided purpose. Prognosis depicts presumed development of indicators in 2016 and 2019 and brings common suggestions for banks overall. Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na analýzu vývoje hypotečních úvěrů v ČR, které díky snižující se úrokové sazbě v posledních letech jsou stále žádanějším způsobem financování vlastního bydlení. Pomocí statistických metod používaných pro analýzu časových řad je analyzován vývoj hypotečního bydlení v počtu poskytnutých úvěrů, ve výši poskytovaných objemů, v počtu hypoték na koupi nemovitosti, výstavbu a neúčelových hypotečních úvěrů od roku 2002 do roku 2015. Na základě této analýzy je prognózován budoucí vývoj počtu hypotečních úvěrů, objemu hypotečních úvěrů a počet úvěrů dle poskytnutého účelu. Prognóza ukazuje očekávaný vývoj ukazatelů v roce 2016 až 2019 a přináší obecná doporučení pro všechny banky

In the first part the diploma thesis is focused for introduction to fundamental analysis and in the second part is the fundamental analysis practiced on O2 Czech Republic a.s. The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the intrinsic value of stocks selected valuation models and compare them with the market price, and finally issue investment recommendations on selected shares.
Global Analysis examines the macroeconomic conditions that affect in the long-term the financial market. Sectoral analysis is focused on the telecommunications sector, where factors affecting the selected sectors are assessed. In corporate analysis, financial analysis is made and in the end intrinsic value of shares O2 Czech Republic a.s. is calculated. Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje v první části na teoretické seznámení s fundamentální analýzou a ve druhé části je fundamentální analýza praktikována na společnost O2 Czech Republic a.s. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit vnitřní hodnotu akcie podle zvolených oceňovacích modelů a porovnat je s cenou tržní a na závěr vydat investiční doporučení ohledně zvolené akcie.
Globální analýza zkoumá makroekonomické podmínky, které mají vliv na dlouhodobý vývoj finančních trhů. Odvětvová analýza je zaměřena na telekomunikační sektor, kde jsou posouzeny faktory mající vliv na zvolené odvětví. Ve firemní analýze je provedena finanční analýza společnosti a na závěr jsou vypočítány vnitřní hodnoty akcie společnosti O2 Czech Republic a.s.

The thesis is focused on spending free time of inhabitants from two small villages in Prague sururban area and if there is any other option how to improve efficiency of spending free time of local inhabitants. The theoretical part concerns free time: its definiton, history, functions, factors which influence spending of free time. Essay gives information about two surveyved willages and its local options of free time activities.
The practical part used questionnaires and interviews which are described at the end of this thesis. Práce se zaměřuje na trávení volného času obyvatel a způsob jakým lze ve dvou malých obcích pražského příměstí zvýšit efektivnost trávení volného času místních obyvatel. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na volný čas: jeho definici, historií, funkce, faktory ovlivňující jeho trávení. V práci jsou následně představovány zkoumané obce a jejich volnočasové nabídky.
Empirické šetření použilo dotazníky a rozhovory, které jsou v závěru práce popsány.

Presented thesis is about fathers on parental leave in the Czech republic. Althought the men can take a parental leave since 2001, they are still the phenomenon in the society. The women are the dominant in parental leave, so there prevails the tradition division
of roles. The aim of my thesis is to answer the question: How does the modern exchange of parenting roles influate the family functioning? In the theoretical part there
is introduced the parental and maternity leave from the point of view in the past, legislation and the possibility taking the maternity and parental leave. The thesis is focused
on parental, maternity and paternity leave from the point of view of eight european countries and states certain recommendation for Czech republic. Also describes the family functioning, parental role, gender role and stereotypes. The next part of thesis is focused
on history of paternity, relationship between the father and child, and paternity parenting styles. The practical part contains ten interviews which research the experience
and opinions of men on the parental leave. There are as well opinions from
the wives/partners, who exchanged the roles with their male partners. Using the questionnaire survey, which was filled in by 238 respondents, there was researched what attitude does the Czech society have to the topic and generally to the position of men
on parental leave. Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá muži na rodičovské dovolené v České republice. Přestože muži mohou rodičovskou dovolenou čerpat již od roku 2001, jsou
ve společnosti fenoménem. Rodičovská dovolená je stále doménou žen a převládá tak tradiční rozdělení rodičovských rolí. Cílem diplomové práce je odpovědět na otázku: Jak ovlivňuje fungování rodiny novodobá výměna rodičovských rolí? V teoretické části
je uvedena rodičovská a mateřská dovolená z hlediska historie, legislativy a možnosti čerpání. Dále se věnuje rodičovské, mateřské a otcovské dovolené z pohledu osmi evropských zemí a uvádí určitá doporučení pro Českou republiku. Popisuje funkce rodiny, rodičovské role, genderové role a stereotypy. Následuje okruh, který se zaměřuje
na historii otcovství, vztahy mezi otcem a dítětem a otcovskými styly při výchově.
Ve vlastní části práce jsou pomocí deseti rozhovorů zkoumány zkušenosti a názory mužů na rodičovské dovolené. Nechybí ani názory jejich žen, které si se svými muži vyměnily rodičovské role. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření, kterého se zúčastnilo 238 respondentů, bylo zjišťováno, jaký postoj zaujímá česká veřejnost k dané problematice a jak vnímá muže na rodičovské dovolené.

The thesis follows up the interpretation of the administrative proceedings pursuant to Act no. 500/2004 Coll., Administrative Procedure. It begins with the history and development of the administrative proceedings in the Czech Republic. The aim is to further clarify the basic principles of administrative bodies. The main part explains the general provisions on administrative proceedings, for example what administrative bodies exist, what is a participant in the proceeding and which tasks it makes. Further follows its own course of the proceedings at first instance. This is the initiation of the procedure, its progress and the possibility of an appeal. The last part deals with administrative proceedings under special laws. This is the procedure for non-payment of social security contributions and state employment policy. The thesis describes the methods of execution order from the social security against debtors Práce se zabývá výkladem průběhu správního řízení dle zákona č. 500/2004 Sb., správní řád. Začíná historií a vývojem správního řízení v České republice. Snahou je blíže vysvětlit základní zásady činnosti správních orgánů. V hlavní části práce vysvětluje obecná ustanovení o správním řízení, například jaké jsou správní orgány, kdo je účastníkem řízení, jaké činí úkony. Následuje vlastní průběh řízení v prvním stupni. Jedná se o zahájení řízení, jeho průběh a možnost odvolání. V poslední části práce je zachyceno správní řízení dle zvláštních zákonů. Jedná o postup při nezaplacení pojistného na sociální zabezpečení a státní politiku zaměstnanosti. Práce popisuje způsoby nařízení exekuce správou sociálního zabezpečení vůči dlužníkům.

This thesis covers the topic of loan and lease financing. Its basis is the economic assessment of the selected financing options. The attention is first paid to the principle of leasing and credit, the historical development of both forms of financing and the current situation in the leasing market in the Czech Republic. In the Theoretical solutions part of the thesis the pros and cons of leasing and credit financing are being discussed. This section is concluded with a chapter about Czech Leasing and Financial Association.
The analytical part of the thesis evaluates the selected financing trends. It introduces Robert Bosch odbytova s.r.o. company, which is characterized as a lessee of the leased asset or as a company interested in a loan. Furthermore, this part refers to Skoda Auto a.s. and Hyundai Motor Czech s.r.o., companies which supplied configuration for Skoda Octavia and Hyundai i30. The aim is to compare leasing and credit as funding sources. The conclusion summarizes and evaluates the obtained results and gives recommendations for the effective financing for the company Robert Bosch odbytova s.r.o. Tato práce se zabývá problematikou úvěrového a leasingového financování. Její podstatou je ekonomické posouzení vybraných možností financování. Pozornost je nejprve věnována podstatě leasingu a úvěru, historickému vývoji obou forem financování
a současné situaci na leasingovém trhu v České republice. V části nazvané Teoretická východiska jsou dále diskutovány výhody a nevýhody leasingového či úvěrového financování. Tuto část uzavírá kapitola Česká leasingová a finanční asociace.
Analytická část zhodnocuje vybrané trendy financování. Představuje společnost Robert Bosch odbytová spol. s r.o., která je zde charakterizována jako nájemce předmětu leasingu či zájemce o úvěr. Dále jsou zde uvedeny společnosti Škoda Auto a.s. a Hyundai Motor Czech s.r.o., které dodaly konfigurace na vozidla Škoda Octavia a Hyundai i30. Cílem snažení je komparace leasingu a úvěru jako zdrojů financování. Závěr práce shrnuje a zhodnocuje získané výsledky, následně uvádí doporučení efektivního financování pro společnost Robert Bosch odbytová s.r.o.
