Spectral and chromatographic methods were used for identification and characterization of partly degraded polymers contained in collectable objects from Beroun museum. DTMA was used for measurements of NBS 711 model glass. Results were compared with measurement of DSC, TMA and viscosity. Dynamická termomechanická analýza byla použita pro měření modelového skla NBS 711. Výsledky byly porovnány s měřením termické analýzy, termomechanické analýzy a měření viskozity. Glasses of As-S system were studied in the glass transition region. StepScan method was used for measuring of heat capacity. Difference of enthalpy H and difference of entropy S were calculated as well. Skla systému As-S byla studována v oblasti skelné transformace. Metodou StepScan byla změřena tepelná kapacita. Rovněž byla vypočtena změna entalpie Delta H, změna entropie Delta S.
