The aim of the methodology is to present methods for quantifying the impacts of projected climate change on the water balance when applying adaptation measures in the Czech Republic for the next few decades. Adaptation measures should contribute to the sustainability of the water balance in all major user segments of water use and management in the basin. The main principle is the use of hydrological models to transform climate change scenarios into time series of hydrological conditions and to quantify the overall water balance of the basin using different types of adaptation measures and their implementation over time. Special emphasis is placed on the evaluation of combinations of adaptation measures that cannot be analysed by simplified methods. The methodology is designed to search for the optimal combination of adaptation measures in the assessed catchment. The proposed approach eliminates the shortcomings of effectiveness assessment from the perspective of the exclusive user of the water resource, as the evaluation of the effectiveness of adaptation measures is carried out in the form of a multi-criteria analysis of the evaluation of the outputs of the simulation model for predicting the water balance in the whole basin. This methodology can be used to assess different adaptation measures in all basic segments of water users: agriculture, forestry, energy, water management and others. Cílem metodiky je představit metody, jak kvantifikovat dopady předpokládané klimatické změny na vodní bilanci při užití adaptačních opatření v podmínkách ČR na několik příštích dekád. Adaptační opatření mají přispívat k udržitelnosti vodní bilance při ve všech hlavních uživatelských segmentech užití a nakládání s vodami v povodí. Hlavním principem je využití hydrologických modelů, prostřednictvím nichž lze scénáře změny klimatu transformovat do časových řad hydrologických poměrů a kvantifikovat celkovou vodní bilanci povodí s užitím adaptačních opatření různých typů a jejich realizace v čase. Speciální důraz je kladen na hodnocení kombinace adaptačních opatření, které nelze analyzovat zjednodušenými metodami. Metodika je navržena tak, aby bylo možné hledat optimální kombinaci adaptačních opatření v posuzovaném povodí. Navrhovaný postup eliminuje nedostatky hodnocení účinnosti z pohledu výlučného uživatele vodního zdroje, protože vyhodnocení účinnosti adaptačních opatření je realizováno formou multikriteriální analýzy vyhodnocení výstupů simulačního modelu predikce vodní bilance v celém povodí. Touto metodikou lze posuzovat různá adaptační opatření ve všech základních segmentech uživatelů vody: zemědělský, lesnický, energetický, vodohospodářský a další.

A procedure for neutralization of corrosion products and stabilization of a specimen containing pyrite, or its degradation products, by high-pressure application of dry ammonia. A streamlined method of ammonia application allowing bulk treatment of specimens, increased efficiency (speed and penetration depth), and avoidance of contact with water or elevated relative humidity during application. Postup neutralizace korozních produktů a stabilizace exempláře obsahujícího pyrit, respektive produkty jeho degradace, pomocí vysokotlaké aplikace suchého čpavku. Zefektivnění metody aplikace amoniaku umožňující hromadné ošetření vzorků, zvýšení účinnosti (rychlosti a hloubkového dosahu), zamezení kontaktu s vodou či zvýšenou relativní vzdušnou vlhkostí při aplikaci.

This preservation procedure is the result of the research project entitled „Building stone surface topography and its application in the field of stone features restoration“ No.DG20P02OVV021, supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. The aim of the preservation procedure was to verify the suitability and applicability of precise measuring methods in order to assess the degree of restoration intervention in the area of traces of stone surface working. The method of close-range photogrammetry was chosen as a tool to evaluate the changes in the topography of stone surfaces bearing traces of working. Tento památkový postup je výsledkem výzkumného projektu s názvem „Topografie povrchu kamene a její aplikace v oblasti restaurování kamenných prvků“ č. DG20P02OVV021, podpořeném Ministerstvem kultury ČR. Cílem památkového postupu bylo ověření vhodnosti a použitelnosti přesných měřičských metod za účelem zhodnocení míry restaurátorského zásahu v oblasti stop po opracování povrchu kamene. Nástrojem pro hodnocení změn topografie kamenných povrchů nesoucích stopy po opracování byla zvolena metoda blízké fotogrammetrie.

The monument procedure in a structured form records data obtained through research from the area of interest of the NAKI II project "Landscape memory of the Moravian and Silesian Sudetes in danger" (DG20P02OVV008). The monument procedure is categorized on the basis of the analysis of negative impacts in the care of movable and immovable archaeological heritage in the landscape of the Czech Republic, which are disturbed by logging. Památkový postup ve strukturované podobě eviduje výzkumem získaná data ze zájmového území projektu NAKI II „Paměť krajiny moravských a slezských Sudet v ohrožení“ (DG20P02OVV008). Památkový postup je kategorizován na základě analýzy negativních dopadů při péči o movité a nemovité archeologické dědictví v krajině České republiky, které jsou narušeny lesní těžbou.

The main goal of the methodology presented here is to propose a system of recommendations for applying fallow in nature conservation based on our experiments. Due to the independence of agricultural land outside specially protected areas with direct payments from the Ministry of Agriculture, it is currently important to apply the methodology, especially in large protected areas where the primary objective is to preserve natural and cultural heritage. Annual and perennial fallows, i.e. biotopes adapted toregular soil disturbance, offer suitable habitats for a number of now-threatened plant and animal species. This is a technically and economically easy solution, but it is challenging to select a suitable location to achieve maximum efficiency. Ploughing must not be used in species-rich grasslands which would lead to ruderalization and degradation of the native vegetation. Furthermore, it must not be carried out on land at risk of erosion. Linear grassland margins, which have been ploughed in the past, recently grassed fields, fallows, and field margins should be selected for fallow management. Nearby populations of invasive plant species can be a problem. Our recommendations for the use of fallow management relate primarily to land in lowland and upland areas with a lower soil nutrient supply. Hlavním cílem předkládané metodiky je na základě experimentů s úhorovým managementem navrhnout systém doporučení pro aplikaci maloplošné orby v ochraně přírody. Vzhledem k provázanosti zemědělské půdy mimo zvláště chráněná území s přímými platbami Ministerstva zemědělství (MZe) je v současné době důležité uplatnění metodiky zejména ve velkoplošných chráněných územích, kde je záchrana přírodního a kulturního dědictví primárním cílem. Jednoleté i víceleté úhory, tj. biotopy adaptované na pravidelné narušování povrchu půdy nabízejí vhodná stanoviště pro řadu dnes ohrožených druhů rostlin i živočichů. Jedná se o technicky i ekonomicky snadné řešení, pro maximální efektivitu je však obtížné zvolení vhodného stanoviště. Orba nesmí být použita v druhově bohatých travních porostech, kde by došlo k ruderalizaci a degradaci původní vegetace. Dále nesmí být prováděna u erozně ohrožených pozemků. Vybírány by měly být liniové okraje travních porostů, které byly v minulosti orané, tj. nedávno zatravněná pole, úhory, okraje polí. Problémem mohou být blízké populace invazních druhů rostlin. Naše doporučení k využití úhorového hospodaření se primárně vztahují na pozemky s nižší zásobou živin v půdě v nížinách a pahorkatinách.

The methodology summarizes the principles of the habitat conservation of several butterflies - Phengaris arion, Parnassius apollo and Colias myrmidone, species specialized to dry grasslands, rock screes and similar habitats, under different scenarios of climate change. Maps of future climatically suitable habitats are included, together with an analysis of the possibilities of assisted colonization. Metodika shrnuje zásady péče o stanoviště modráska černoskrvnného (Phengaris arion), jasoně červenookého (Parnassius apollo) a žluťáska barvoměnného (Colias myrmidone), specializovaných druhů suchých trávníků, skalních drolin a podobných stanovišť, s variantami pro různé scénáře klimatické změny. Součástí jsou mapy budoucích klimaticky vhodných stanovišť, spolu s rozborem možností asistovaných kolonizací.

The goal of the preservation procedure is to practically describe the technological process of both the production of casein sealant itself and the method of application to damaged parts of the wood material, as well as the related preparation related to the cleaning of the damaged area from the remains of non-cohesive wood material, including its consolidation. The procedure primarily respects the protection of cultural heritage, especially the need to minimize interference with the original wood material. The applicability of this technique is very broad. There are many possibilities as to why and how to apply it. Cílem památkového postupu je prakticky popsat technologický proces jak samotné výroby kaseinového tmelu a způsob aplikace do poškozených částí dřevní hmoty, tak související přípravu týkající se čištění poškozeného místa od zbytků nesoudržné dřevní hmoty, včetně její konsolidace. Postup primárně respektuje ochranu kulturního dědictví, zejména potřebu minimalizace zásahu do originální dřevní hmoty. Použitelnost této techniky je velmi široká. Existuje mnoho možností, proč a jakým způsobem ji aplikovat.
