The paper is devoted to exploration of hydrological conditions in the confluence area of streams Sloupský creek and Bílá voda creek, which is located in the Amateur Cave in the Moravian Karst. Somewhere in this complex part of the Amateur Cave arises river Punkva. The research attempting to connect hydrological data from water level gauges placed at selected locations and 3D model of the cave created by using laser scanning. The result should be hydrological model of studied part of the cave, but acquired data have potential for further research. Příspěvek je věnován zkoumání hydrologických poměrů v soutokové oblasti Sloupského potoka a Bílé vody, která se nalézá v Amatérské jeskyni v Moravském Krasu. Právě někde v této poměrně složité části Amatérské jeskyně vzniká řeka Punkdva. Výzkum se snaží o propojení hydrologických dat z hladinoměrů rozmístěných na vybraných lokalitách a 3D modelu jeskyně vytvářeného pomocí laserscanningu. Výsledkem by měl být hydrologický model zkoumané části jeskyně, pořízená data ale mají potenciál i pro další oblasti výzkumu.

Brownfields are in creasingly discussed topic among researchers and public administration representatives as well. Especially in peripheral areas and in regions affected by structural changes is an issue of brownfields due to their limited attractiveness for investments very specific. This paper aims to comment the issue of brownfields in the above type of area on the example of city of Karviná. The theoretical part of the paper discusses the economic, social and environmental aspects of brownfield regeneration. Then spatial analysis of these areas brownfields on the area studied city is Sborník p ř ísp ě vk ů X VII . mezinárodní kolokvium o regionálních v ě dách Hustope č e 18. – 20 . 6. 20 14 622 carried on from the point of view of their size, previous use, type of ownership, contamination and location within the city. The specifics of regeneration of mining brownfields are then formu lated. In the last part of the paper thematic survey conducted among the population of the city of Karviná (n = 150) is evaluated. The survey aimed to determine preferences for future use of brownfields and general perception of these areas by local popula tion. Brownfieldy jsou stále více diskutovaným tématem mezi výzkumníky i ve ř ejnou správou. Zvlá š t ě v periferních oblastech a v regionech posti ž ených strukturálními zm ě nami je problém brownfield ů s ohledem na jejich omezenou atraktivitu pro investory velmi specifický. P ř ísp ě vek se sna ž í komentovat problematiku brownfield ů ve vý š e uvedeném typu území na p ř íklad ě m ě sta Karviná. Ve své teoretické č ásti p ř ísp ě vek diskutuj e nad ekonomickými, sociálními a environmentálními aspekty regenerace brownfield ů , na co ž navazuje prostorová analýza t ě chto ploch na území Karviné, v jejím ž rámci zkoumána jejich velikost, p ř edchozí vyu ž ití, typ vlastnictví, kontaminace a umíst ě ní v rámci m ě sta. Jsou formulována specifika regenerace t ěž ebních brownfield ů . V poslední č ásti p ř ísp ě vku je vyhodnoceno tematické dotazníkové š et ř ení provedené mezi obyvatelstvem m ě sta (n=150), v n ě m ž byly zji šť ovány preference budoucího vyu ž ití brownfield ů a obecn ě percepce t ě chto ploch místními obyvateli. V záv ě ru jsou formulována doporu č ení jak ve ř ejné správ ě , tak investor ů m, jak p ř istupovat k problematice brownfield ů

The Analysis of Material Inner Structure and Industry X-ray Computed Microtomography

In recent decades, non-destructive methods of materials analysis have been used increasingly for the study of different kinds of materials. Especially, it concerns the method of the X-ray industry computed microtomography (CT). This paper is elaborated on the basis of the experiences of X-ray CT use within the frame of research activities of the Institute of Geonics ASCR. Particularly, the possibilities and examples of the different kind material research by X-ray CT are presented. The X-ray CT systems fy. Nikom Metrology X TH 225 ST and XT H 450 at Institute of Geonics cover a wide range of the X-ray CT and radiography applications in the fields of analysis of materials and geomaterials (e.g. analysis of the pore space, inner structure and their defects), the inspection of small castings and plastic parts, as well as in the fields of palaeontology (e.g. inspection of bones, sculls, fossils etc.), size measurement of internal dimensions of the components, defectoscopy of machines and equipment parts and also in the field of biological structures analysis. V současné době jsou stále častěji využívány nedestruktivní metody analýzy různých typů materiálů. Jednu z takovýchto metod představuje především průmyslová rentgenová počítačová mikrotomografie (CT). Tento příspěvek je zpracován na základě zkušeností používání rentgenové průmyslové počítačové mikrotomografie v rámci výzkumných aktivit Ústavu geoniky AV ČR a pojednává o možnostech výzkumu různých typů materiálů pomocí této metody, včetně příkladů jejího použití. Rentgenové CT systémy firmy Nikom Metrology X TH 225 ST a XT H 450 na Ústavu geoniky pokrývají širokou oblast tomografických a radiografických aplikací, například v oblasti analýzy materiálů a geomateriálů (např. analýza pórového prostoru, vnitřní stavby a jejich defektů), stejně tak jako v oblasti kontroly malých odlitků a plastových dílů, v oblasti paleontologie (např. kontrola kosti, lebek, fosílií apod.), měření velikosti vnitřních rozměrů součástek, defektoskopie strojů a částí zařízení a rovněž v oblasti analýzy biologických struktur.

Flash floods in the Czech lands on examples from the 16th – 21st centuries

An often discussed and still topical question is whether the frequency of the occurrence of flash floods has been increasing in the last decennia or the impression results only from the increased interest (and improved technical possibilities) of media and wide public in these extreme hydro-meteorological phenomena. There are many floods of this type that can be documented from the past, which occurred before the hydro-meteorological measurements. Although they did not affect vast areas, they usually represented (similarly as today) crushing disasters for the hit territories. The contribution brings examples of such extremes from the end of the 16th century to the beginning of the 21st century, which went down in the flood history of the affected areas. Často diskutovanou a stále aktuální otázkou je, zda se v posledních desetiletích zvyšuje četnost výskytu přívalových povodní nebo je to dáno jen větším zájmem (i technickými možnostmi) médií a širší veřejnosti o tyto extrémní hydrometeorologické jevy. Z minulosti lze však doložit řadu případů povodní tohoto typu, ke kterým docházelo samozřejmě i před počátkem hydrometeorologických měření. Nepostihovaly sice rozsáhlé oblasti, ale pro zasažené území většinou znamenaly (stejně jako dnes) zničující katastrofu. V příspěvku jsou uvedeny příklady takovýchto extrémů od konce 16. do počátku 21. století, které se zapsaly do povodňové historie postižených území.

Analysis of Brownfields Regeneration Occasions: Liberecký Region Example

Brownfield is any land degenerated by it ́s previous use. Such areas (and structures in this area) may currently be vacant and it represents a barrier in future balanced development of the area and surroundings. This contribu tion targets on describing the ability of brownfields remediation by using the Principal Component Analysis of socio - economic, spatial and demographic indicators. As a study area was set up the Liberece region. From results it is clear that selected indica tors can satisfactorily describe the ability for remediation only by agricultural brownfields. Regarding to the type of analysed data we can presuppose a significant influence of soft factors on brownfield remediation. Such factors may describe the role of active participation of stakeholders, private motivating factors, inspiration in case of best practices, etc. Za brownfields pova ž ujeme území, je ž jsou deprimována po svém p ř edchozím vyu ž ití. V sou č asnosti pozbyla tato území a objekty, které se na nich nachází, vyu ž ití a vytvá ř í tak p ř eká ž ku v dal š ím rovnová ž ném rozvoji území. Cílem p ř edkládaného p ř ísp ě vku je, na základ ě faktorové analýzy hlavních komponent ovliv ň ujících regeneraci brownfields, identifikace socio - ekonomických, prostorových a demografických faktor ů , je ž mají vliv na regeneraci brownfields na p ř íkladu Libereckého kraje. Z výsledk ů je patrné, ž e zvolené ukazatele mají prokazatelný vliv pouze na regeneraci brownfields zem ě d ě lského p ů vodu. Vzhledem k charakteru analyzovaných dat se lze domnívat, ž e u p oz ů statk ů jiných č inností hrají významn ější roli tzv. měkké faktory, především aktivní participace dotčených stran, jejich osobní motivace, inspirace dobrými příklady regenerace, apod.

Georelief versus Western Brno Radial

Anthropogenic geomorphological forms conditioned by construction and operation of communication are discussed in detail, historical context is given. Předkládaný příspěvek se zabývá historickou pozemní komunikací, která spojovala město Brno se svým západním okolím (brněnská radiála) a její vazbou na georeliéf. The paper deals with reuse of brownfields in the Czech Republic. Based on the analysis of information about re - use of residual spaces are shown major changes in the current management space. The paper is based on a comparison of two data files - specifically, the existing brownfields database managed by the CzechInvest and own database of brownfields that have a lready been revitalized. The paper is divided into three parts, the first part of the paper analyzes the structure of a revitalized brownfields, in the second part of the paper, the structure of this file is compared with the structure of existing brownfie lds and the third part analyzes the factors revitalization of brownfields. The paper aims to answer the question what functions take the brownfields after revitalization and what factors determine their reuse. Příspěvek se zabývá opětovným využitím brownfieldů v České republice. Na základě analýzy informací o znovuvyužití reziduálních prostorů jsou ukázány hlavní proměny v současném managementu prostoru. Příspěvek je založen na komparaci dvou datových souborů - konkrétně databázi stávajících brownfieldů spravované agenturou CzechInvest a vlastní databázi již revitalizovaných brownfieldů. Příspěvek je rozdělen do tří částí, v první je analyzována struktura souboru revitalizovaných brownfieldů, ve druhé je prostřednictvím komparativní analýzy tato struktura porovnána se strukturou souboru stávajících brownfieldů a ve třetí jsou analyzovány samotné faktory revitalizace brownfieldů. Příspěvek si tak klade za cíl odpovědět na otázky jakých funkcí brownfieldy po revitalizaci nabývají a jaké faktory rozhodují o jejich znovuvyužití.

New Energy Landscape: Spatial Delimitation Based on the Location of Selected Renewable Sources (Case Study Area - Czech Republic)

The contribution deals with the definition and the spatial delimitation of the new energy landscape which has been described in the Czech Republic only in theory yet. The primary database was created by means of GIS analyses based on combination three layers with installations producing energy from renewable sources - wind power plants, biogas plants and photovoltaic power plants with production capacity over 5MW. On the basis of this layer were spatially delimited areas of influ ence of these devices, and thus the theoretical range of the new energy landscape. The result of this study brings new knowledge about spatial distribution of new energy landscapes on the territory of the Czech Republic. The article should be starting poin t for future scientific researches and discussions, which should help not only to the improvements and modifications of the original methodology, should support the improvement of the decision - making processes associated with spatial planning at the differ ent hierarchical levels (national, regional, local). Význam energie generované z obnovitelných zdroj ů v Č eské republice neustále roste. S rozvojem jednotlivých sektor ů obnovitelných zdroj ů energií v š ak stoupá i ovlivn ě ní krajiny p ř ilehlé k t ě mto zdroj ů m. P ř ísp ě vek se zabývá územním vymezením nové energetické krajiny, která dosud byla na území Č eské republiky popisována pouze v teoretické rovin ě . Na základ ě GIS analýzy, která vyu ž ila vrstvu v ě trných elekt ráren, bioplynových stanic a velkých fotovoltaických elektráren s kapacitou výkonu nad 5MW byla vytvo ř ena základní databáze za ř ízení vyráb ě jících energii z obnovitelných zdroj ů . Na základ ě této vrstvy byly vymezeny oblasti vlivu t ě chto za ř ízení, a tím i úz emní rozsah nové energetické krajiny, který má význam nejen z v ě deckého hlediska, ale m ůž e p ř inést cenné informace i pro p ř edstavitele ve ř ejné správy, investory a ob č any. Výsledky této studie p ř iná š ejí poznatky o výskytu nové energetické krajiny na území Č eské republiky.

Development of renewable energy sources is primarily focused on environmental topics such as the climate change, or energy security and source availability. Moreover, it reflects new jobs opportunities and establishment of new economy sectors. The contribution deals with renewable energy sources and their dynamic development, which is documented by increasing number of potential jobs in this sec tor. The employment progress in main branches of “ green economy ” of the Czech Republic is analysed, and the collected data with main European trends and the main factors influencing structure of renewable energy sources in the Czech Republic are compared. The main goal of the contribution is to discuss the renewable energy sources benefits for employment and indirectly the Czech Republic competitiveness as well. Rozvoj obnovitelných zdroj ů energie prioritn ě cílí na environmentální témata jako je klimatická zm ě na, nebo otázky energetické bezpe č nosti a dostupnosti zdroj ů , av š ak má sv ů j otisk také v podob ě vzniku nových pracovních míst a vzniku celého nového ekonomic kého sektoru. P ř edlo ž ený p ř ísp ě vek se zabývá obnovitelnými zdroji energie a jejich dynamickým rozvojem, který dokumentuje na zvy š ujícím se po č tu pracovních p ř íle ž itostí v tomto sektoru. Podrobn ě analyzuje vývoj zam ě stnanosti v hlavních sektorech „ zelené en ergetiky “ v podmínkách Č eské republiky a dává je do souvislosti s vývojem v celé Evropské unii a také s hlavními faktory ovliv ň ujícími strukturu obnovitelných zdroj ů energie v Č R. Cílem p ř ísp ě vku je diskuse o p ř ínosu OZE na zam ě stnanost a zprost ř edkovan ě i konkurenceschopnost Č R.

Brownfields and Tourism Development - Visitors´ Preferences Exampled on Brno City

The article deals with issue of brownfields regeneration with special attention to brownfields redevelopment in tourism and leisure time activities. With connection to the theoretical discussion, there are presented the results of the field research with visit ors of the selected case study areas located on the territory pf Brno City (Czech Republic). The objective of this questionnaire survey was to identify the answer to the question how the new brownfield use in for tourism is perceived among visitors and ide ntify potential of the different types of brownfields from visitors ’ perspective. The results show the strong support for future housing utilisation, because regeneration of abandoned and neglected locations for housing needs was discussed among the visit ors the most intensively. P ř edkládaný p ř ísp ě vek se v ě nuje problematice regenerace brownfields se specifickým d ů razem na jejich vyu ž ití v cestovním ruchu a volno č asových aktivitách. V návaznosti na teoretickou diskusi jsou ve st ěž ejní druhé č ásti textu prezentovány výsledky terénníh o výzkumu s náv š t ě vníky vybraných p ř ípadových lokalit na území m ě sta Brna ( Č eská republika). Cílem dotazníkového š et ř ení a sou č asn ě i tohoto p ř ísp ě vku bylo najít odpov ěď na otázku vnímání nového vyu ž ití brownfields v oblasti cestovního ruchu a identifikova t potenciál r ů zných typ ů brownfields k jejich op ě tovnému vyu ž ití ze strany náv š t ě vník ů . Výsledky poukazují mj. na silné vnímání otázky bydlení v urbánním prostoru, nebo ť regenerace nevyu ž ívaných obytných objekt ů č i lokalit byla z jejich strany diskutována nejvíce.
