The view of Czech public on differences among people

2003 - Czech The paper deals with reflection of relation among people in Czech public opinion. Great tolerance prevails towards religious people, young people and invalids. Romanies, alcoholics, users of drugs and people with criminal past create at least acceptable group. In long term tolerance increase, excepted Romanies. CR is placed in 14 position from 23 European countries from point of view tolerance. Příspěvek se zabývá odrazem vztahů lidí v českém veřejném mínění. Analyzuje současný stav tolerance k 17 různým skupinám obyvatel. Největší tolerance vládne vůči lidem s jiným náboženským přesvědčením, mládeži a invalidům. Do skupiny s nejnižší mírou přijatelnosti patří Rómové, těžcí alkoholici, lidé užívající drogy a lidé s kriminální minulostí. Dlouhodobě dochází ke zvyšování tolerance, s výjimkou Rómů. V evropském srovnání se ČR z hlediska tolerance umisťuje na čtrnáctém místě z 23 zemí. 2003 - Czech Paper is focused on changes in Czech obstetrics. At the end of 1990s they have started to be discussed not only by professionals but also between professionals, mothers and nongovernmental organizations. The discussion stressed differences between motherŽs childbirth experience, differences between childbirth practice of various childbirth hospitals and tendencies to professionalize midwives. Příspěvek je věnován proměnám porodní praxe v ČR, které začaly být diskutovány na konci 90.let nejen mezi lékařskou veřejností, ale staly se námětem širší diskuse mezi odborníky, matkami a nevládními organizacemi. Tato diskuse jednak zviditelnila vzájemně rozdílné prožitky porodu matek a diferencující porodní praxi českých porodnic, a jednak absorbovala i tendence po profesionalizaci porodních asistentek. Kontent analysis of the Czech party manifestos

2003 - Czech The article presents the results of the analysis of party manifestos, prepared by Czech political parties which were elected to the Parliament in five democratic elections, started with 1990 election. For the analysis and coding of party manifestos was used the methodology developed and used by ECPR Manifesto Research Group (European Consortium for Political Research). Příspěvek se věnuje obsahové analýze volebních programů českých politických stran, které se dostaly do parlamentu v dosud konaných patero volbách, počínaje rokem 1990. Volební programy byly analyzovány a kódovány podle mezinárodní metodiky, vyvinuté Manifesto Research Group při European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR). Working-class fraction of middle classes under socialism

2002 - Czech The contribution focuses on the rise of the socialist middle classes from politically engaged workers after 1948 in the Czech part of the Nisa Euroregion. Rising career tracks have been documented: direct progress to the senior post, preparation of labour intelligence, support by accepting children from working-class families to universities. According to intergenerational biographical comparison, life's careers showed a shift from the working-class way of life. This socialistic middle class gained social and cultural capital and successfully adapted to the new conditions after year 1989. V příspěvku je věnována pozornost vzniku socialistických středních vrstev v české části euroregionu Nisa, po roce 1948 z řad politicky angažovaných dělníků. Jsou zdokumentovány vzestupné mobiltitní dráhy: přímý postup na vedoucí místo, příprava dělnické inteligence, podpora přijímání dětí z dělnických rodin na VŠ. Životní dráhy podle mezigeneračního biografického srovnání zaznamenávají odklon od dělnického stylu života. Tato socialistická střední vrstva získala sociální a kulturní kapitál a po roce 1989 se úspěšně adaptovala na nové podmínky. Regional interests in the Ústí nad Labem Region and their backround

2002 - Czech A subject of the contribution is political culture, as the concept of pure and mixed types accordinto Almond and Verba. The concept is operationalized through the scheme of 48 statements developed by the team of Feierabend and applied in the survey of the citizens of Usti n.L. A model of measure of identification with some type of political culture is developed here. Information on regional election is added. Příspěvek se zabývá politickou kulturou, jejíž koncept jako čistých a smíšených typů politické kultury byl zaveden Almondem a Verbou. Operacionalizace konceptu schématem 48 výroků (Feierabend), empirické šetření občanů Ústí n.L. Je zpracován a použit model míry ztotožnění se s typem politické kultury. 2002 - Czech The text deals with the theoretical description of consequences of the rent control (rent regulation of 1. generation) and its distinguishing from the rent regulation (rent regulation of 2. generation). The practical approaches to the regulation of 2. generation used in developed EU countries are also stated. The trend of development of housing expenditures burden in the 1990s is also shortly mentioned.
