Technological progress is transforming perhaps all aspects of human activity, not least the way we build. Criticism and reflection is therefore necessary. Optimisation of the unnecessary use of technology and simultaneous use of vernacular principles is one way to reduce the environmental impact. I am designing an apartment building near Zlin, which is based on the context of the place. In the area of the Malenovice sawmill, quality housing in the greenery is being created. The design of the apartment building integrates results of the contemplation of the material, making the most of natural ventilation and solar heat gains. Corner greenhouses are a specific element of the design, combining the benefits of a double facade and greenhouse effect, as well as centrally located ventilation chimneys. These elements contribute to improving the quality of space and have their thermodynamic justification. My goal was to design quality housing using truthfully admitted materials. Timberwork in the Czech Republic is still scarce. This project explores, among other things, the possibilities and limits of timber construction in the design of an apartment building. Technologický pokrok proměňuje snad všechny aspekty lidské činnosti, v neposlední řadě i způsob, jakým stavíme. Kritika a reflexe je tedy na místě. Zhodnocení a optimalizace nadbytečného používání technologií a současné využití vernakulárních principů je jednou z cest jak snížit environmentální zátěž. Navrhuji bytový dům u Zlína, který vychází z kontextu místa. Na řešeném území Malenovické pily vzniká bytový soubor nabízející kvalitní bydlení v zeleni. Bytový dům integruje poznatky materiálové rozvahy, v maximální míře využívá přirozeného větrání a slunečních tepelných zisků. Specifickým prvkem návrhu jsou rohové skleníky, které slučují výhody dvojité fasády a skleníkového efektu a a dále odvětrávací komíny umístěné centrálně v dispozici. Tyto prvky přispívají ke zvýšení kvality prostoru a mají své termodynamické odůvodnění. Mým cílem bylo navrhnout kvalitní bydlení za využití pravdivě přiznaných materiálů. Dřevostavby jsou v České republice stále ještě svázány řadou norem a nejsou využívány v jejich plném potenciálu. Tento projekt zkoumá mimo jiné možnosti a limity dřevostavby při výstavbě bytového domu.

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a new building of the family winery Plchut in Mutěnice. The design is based on the project developed in the course Architectural Design Studio 2 (AG032). The site itself is located on the north-western hillside of Zadní Hora at an altitude of 183 m above sea level, about 2 km from the centre. Almost at the end of a long cellar lane (Vinařská Street) leading from the centre of the village. The plot belongs to the area of ''Vinné búdy''. There is a rapid slope along the entire length of the plot, which is moderated in 2/3 of the plot towards the south-eastern side. The complex is accessible by a main visitor entrance via a paved road from the local road (Vinařská Street) and an entrance for staff and equipment from the adjacent side road leading to the vineyards. In the design, attention was paid to functionality, sufficient handling area and maintaining a simple and minimalist appearance. Therefore, the building is partially embedded in the ground. This hides a large amount of the overall mass of the complex. The buried objects take advantage of the thermal stability of the soil to cool the interior of the warehouses and production hall. All the buildings surround the handling yard and define its area with their volume, which also defines the production part of the whole complex. In order to visibly separate the public area used by visitors and the production area for employees, the building is divided into 2 height levels. The use of a combination of gabled tin and flat green roofs achieves a similarity to the surrounding wine cellars. The roofs and height differences and different finishes divide the overall building into multiple smaller units so that the overall building does not interfere so much with the building rhythm and order of the entire cellar alley. Bakalářská práce se zabývá návrhem novostavby rodinného vinařství Plchut v Mutěnicích. Návrh vychází z projektu vypracovaného v rámci předmětu Ateliér architektonické tvorby 2 (AG032). Samotný pozemek se nachází na severozápadním svahu Zadní hory v nadmořské výšce 183 m n. m., asi 2 km od centra. Téměř na konci dlouhé sklepní uličky (ulice Vinařská) vedoucí ze středu obce. Pozemek spadá do oblasti ‚‚Vinné búdy‘‘. Po celé délce pozemku probíhá rapidní svahování, které se mírní ve 2/3 pozemku směrem k jihovýchodní straně. Řešený komplex je dostupný hlavním vstupem návštěvníků zpevněnou cestou z místní pozemní komunikace (ulice Vinařská) a vstupem pro zaměstnance a techniku z navazující vedlejší komunikace, která vede k vinicím. Při návrhu byl kladen důraz na funkčnost, dostatečnou manipulační plochou a zachování jednoduchosti a minimalistického vzhled. Proto je objekt částečně zapuštěný v terénu. Schová se tak velké množství celkové hmoty komplexu. Zakopané objekty využijí teplotní stálost zeminy k ochlazení vnitřních prostor skladů a výrobní haly. Všechny budovy obklopují manipulační dvůr a svým objemem definují jeho plochu, která zároveň určuje výrobní část celého komplexu. Pro viditelné oddělení veřejné části používané návštěvníky a výrobní části pro zaměstnance je objekt rozdělen do 2 výškových úrovní. Použitím kombinace sedlových a plochých zelených střech je docíleno podobnosti s okolními vinnými sklepy. Střechy a výškové rozdíly a různá povrchová úprava rozdělují celkový objekt na víc menších celků, aby celkový objekt tolik nenarušoval zástavbový rytmus a řád celé sklepní uličky.

Revitalization of the Gemini High School, design of its dormitory and a proposal for a new use of the school garden with a café gives a new life to this place located in the calm area of the Brno housing estate Lesná. This thesis aims to create a pleasant environment not only for students and the school’s employees, but also for the public. The revitalization of the Gemini High School is designed to best enable the education of disabled students and to allow the local teaching to follow trends of the modern times. The school premises should also become a place where these students can gradually integrate into the mainstream society and earn many valuable experiences for their journey through life. Revitalizace střední školy Gemini, návrh internátu a návrh nového využití školní zahrady s umístěním kavárny dává nový dech tomuto prostoru v klidném území Brněnského sídliště Lesná. Cílem práce je vytvořit příjemné prostředí nejen pro studenty a zaměstnance, ale i pro lidi z širšího okolí. Revitalizace střední školy je navržena tak, aby objekt co nejlépe umožňoval vzdělávat zdravotně znevýhodněné studenty v jejich oboru, a aby zdejší výuka mohla následovat moderní trendy této doby. Areál školy se má stát mimo jiné místem, kde se tito studenti mohou postupně začleňovat do běžného života a získávat tak spousty zkušeností na následnou cestu životem.

This bachelor thesis deals with a new building primarily used for production and storage and secondarily for administrative space. The building is designed in the area of Tachov in the Víchov part of the town of Černošín in the Pilsen region. Access to the land is from the south side of the main road 230 in the direction from Stříbro to Černošín and the second access is from the west side of the dirt road through the village Víchov (the road is currently unused). Both roads are connected by a newly designed road within the plot. The majority of the newly proposed road is used for the supply and removal of goods. The whole concept is designed with respect to the local conditions and referring to the character of the area and also to the investor's requirements. Due to the scale of the village, the height of the building is adapted. The structure of the building is made up of a wall bearing system, where in the part of the administration and warehouses carries a gable roof, which consists of wooden glued trusses. The roof sheathing is made of corrugated metal sheet, which also forms part of the facade. The external façade is made up of timber cladding and cladding made of folded sheet metal. A separate logo was also designed for the building as part of the study, which is located on the front façade of the office building. The proposed building SO.01 will be used as an administrative building for the employees of the cooperage and cannery, who are also part of the production but also administration and management. The building also includes dining facilities for all employees, locker rooms and offices, as well as a showroom for visitors and meeting space for any business meetings of the owner. The building also serves as a representative object of the entire proposal. In the proposed building SO.02 will be located exclusively production or waste warehouse, or warehouse of unprocessed fruit. Dry storage and product storage is not part of the project. Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá novostavbou primárne slúžiacou k výrobe a skladovaniu a sekundárne k administratívnym priestorom. Objekt je navrhnutý v oblasti Tachov v časti Víchov mesta Černošín v Plzeňskom kraji. Prístup k pozemku je z južnej strany z hlavnej cesty 230 v smere zo Stříbra do Černošína a druhý prístup je zo západnej strany poľnou cestou cez obec Víchov (komunikácia je v súčasnosti nevyužívaná). Obe komunikácie sú prepojené novo navrhnutou komunikáciou v rámci pozemku. Väčšiu časť novo navrhnutej komunikácie tvorí zásobovanie a odvážanie tovaru. Celý koncept je navrhnutý vzhľadom k lokálnym podmienkam a odkazujúc na charakter územia a taktiež na požiadavky investora. Vzhľadom na mierku obce, je prispôsobená výška objektu. Konštrukcia objektu je tvorená stenovým nosným systémom, kde v časti administratívy a skladov nesie sedlovú strechu, ktorú tvoria drevené lepené väzníky. Strešný plášť je tvorený falcovaným plechom, ktorý tvorí aj časť fasády. Vonkajšia fasáda je tvorená dreveným obkladom a obkladom z falcovaného plechu. Pre objekt bolo navrhnuté aj samostatné logo vrámci štúdie, ktoré sa nachádza na čelnej fasáde administratívnej budovy. Navrhnutý objekt SO.01 bude slúžiť ako administratívna budova pre zamestnancov Moštárne a konzervárne, ktorí sú súčasťou aj výroby ale aj administratívy a vedenia. Súčasťou objektu sú taktiež jedálenské priestory pre všetkých zamestnancov, šatne a kancelárie, taktiež showroom pre návštevníkov a jednacie priestory pre prípadné obchodné stretnutia majiteľa. Objekt slúži taktiež ako reprezentatívny objekt celého návrhu. V navrhnutom objekte SO.02 bude umiestnená výhradne iba výroba prípadne sklad odpadov, alebo sklad nespracovaného ovocia. Suchý sklad a sklad výrobkov nie je súčasťou riešeného projektu.

Contemporary large cities are facing a housing crisis, which includes insufficient residential units, soaring rents, and insufficient capacity to meet the demand for affordable living. One pressing issue is the scarcity of temporary accommodations for students and living spaces for recent graduates embarking on their careers amidst steep rental prices. The project explores innovative housing solutions tailored to specified social groups. Implemented in the gap between two existing structures on Hlinky Street, opposite the Brno Exhibition Centre in the historic Old-Brno district, it presents affordable communal living for students, accessible housing for graduates, and integrates commercial amenity, which can thrive in the urban structure of the area. Současná velká města zažívají krizi bydlení, která zahrnuje nedostatečný počet bytů, vysoké nájemné a nedostatek vyžadovaných kapacit, které by pokryly poptávku po dostupným formám bydlení. Jedním z problémů je dostupnost dočasného bydlení pro studenty, stejně jako bydlení pro absolventy, kteří teprve začínají svou kariéru a na začátku si nemohou dovolit platit vysoké nájemné za ubytování. V projektu jsou zkoumány možnosti soudobých a flexibilních forem bydlení pro zvolené sociální skupiny a nalezené řešení se aplikuje na pozemku v proluce mezi dvěma stávajícími budovami na ulici Hlinky naproti Brněnského Výstaviště v historické městské části Staré-Brno. Projekt nabízí dostupný sdílený pobýt pro studenty, dostupné bydlení pro absolventy a zahrnuje komerční funkci občanské vybavenosti, která dokáže přežit v urbanistickém kontextu řešené lokality.

It is a project of an offline centre that offers ideal conditions for regeneration of body and soul, providing incentives to restore a balanced lifestyle and rediscover life energy. Lidská mysl a tělo jsou konstruované pro pobyt v přírodě, stres je pak přirozeným prostředníkem pro zajištění přežití. Jak se ale vypořádat se stresem způsobeným prostředím internetu, sociálních sítí a moderních technologií? Jak nalézt rovnováhu mezi reálným světem a životem v online prostoru? Na tyto otázky se pokouší odpovědět Restart. Jedná se o projekt offline centra, které nabízí ideální podmínky pro regeneraci těla i duše, poskytuje podněty pro obnovení vyváženého životního stylu a znovunalezení životní energie.

The building of the puppet theatre in the centre of Opava is significant for its location and function. One of my goals was therefore to create a building with a distinctive character that will serve as a symbol of the entranceway to the city centre. As it encroaches on the land on which the Silesian Theatre building stands, my aim was to help this theatre in its design and to improve the condition of its not entirely satisfactory operating space. Outside the performance space, the theatre events create an opportunity for discussion, for sharing ideas that have no place in the normal daily routine. The project appeals to promote the aspect of perceiving the theatre as a modern agora. Budova loutkového divadla v centru Opavy je významná svým umístěním i funkcí. Jedním z mých cílů proto bylo vytvořit budovu s výrazným charakterem, která dotvoří vstup do nejužšího centra města. Jelikož zasahuje do pozemku, na kterém stojí budova Slezského divadla, bylo mým cílem pomoci v návrhu i tomuto divadlu a zlepšit stav jeho ne zcela vyhovujících provozních prostor. Mimo inscenační prostor vytváří divadelní akce příležitost k diskusi, ke sdílení myšlenek, na které v běžné denní rutině nezbývá místo. Projekt apeluje na podpoření aspektu vnímání divadla jako novodobé agory.

This project is concerned with identifying and exploiting the potential of a specific site in Kroměříž. The attractiveness of the area is analysed, with an emphasis on the presence of listed sites and the neighbourhood of important local points of interest. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the urban design of a new housing complex that meets the current needs of the city's inhabitants in order to meet their standard of living. Considering the requirements and priorities of the city, the proposed housing complex combines different functions and addresses the needs of different groups of residents. This proposal creates a comprehensive environment that links housing with other functions such as shops, services and the use of green spaces. The intention of the project is the subsequent selection and design of a multi-functional building as one of the potential buildings of the proposed urban design of the housing complex. Tento projekt sa zaoberá identifikáciou a využitím potenciálu konkrétnej lokality v meste Kroměříž. Analyzuje sa atraktivita územia, s dôrazom na prítomnosť pamiatkovo chránených lokalít a susedstvo významných miestnych bodov záujmu. Cieľom bakalárskej práce je urbanistický návrh nového bytového súboru, ktorý zodpovedá súčasným potrebám obyvateľov mesta tak, aby bol naplnený ich životný štandard. Vzhľadom na požiadavky a priority mesta, navrhovaný bytový komplex kombinuje rôzne funkcie a zameriava sa na potreby rôznych skupín obyvateľov. Tento návrh vytvára komplexné prostredie, ktoré prepája bývanie s ďalšími funkciami, ako sú obchody, služby a využitie zelených plôch. Zámerom projektu je následný výber a návrh polyfunkčného domu ako jedného z potenciálnych stavebných objektov navrhnutého urbanistického riešenia bytového súboru.

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is design of city development with purpose of revitalizing city of Kopřivnice. This moravian-silesian city is significant mostly from the point of automobile industry, however there is intention to create new background for young people and small businesses in the future. Kopřivnice’s problem with decreasing population is trying to be resolved by creating detached unit of one of the universities in Ostrava, which will lead to increased number of students. Creating background for students, graduates and young families along with options for starting small businesses would contribute to retention of these young people in city of Kopřivnice. The city has selected a location for development with this purpose and this thesis is aiming to check the potential of said location and to create a guide with subsequent design of specific building. Cílem této práce je návrh zástavby s účelem vnesení nového života do města Kopřivnice. Toto moravskoslezské město je významné především z hlediska automobilového průmyslu, avšak do budoucna je zde plánováno vytvoření nového zázemí pro mladé lidi a rozvoj malých podniků. Na problém Kopřivnice, týkající se úbytku obyvatel, navazuje návrh zřídit ve městě detašované pracoviště jedné z ostravských vysokých škol, což povede k přírůstku studentů. Vytvoření zázemí pro studenty, absolventy a mladé rodiny společně s možností rozvoje podnikání malých firem by přispělo k udržení těchto obyvatel v Kopřivnici. Městem byla vytipována lokalita pro výstavbu za tímto účelem a tato práce má za úkol prověřit možnosti daného místa a vytvořit manuál pro její řešení s následným konkrétním návrhem stavby.

The building of the theater is not currently a stable structure; it changes based on current demands. From the beginning, I have worked with the idea of a new space for today's theater scene, not only for the specifics of puppet theater. The intention of the design is to create a space for theater professionals according to their needs, while not neglecting the aesthetics of visual and architectural requirements beyond the lapidary construction. Verticality allows for an efficient workflow. The mass of the theater building stemmed from the design of the performance space. Budova divadla není v současné době stabilní strukturou, mění se na základě aktuálních požadavků. Od počátku jsem pracovala s myšlenkou nového prostoru pro dnešní divadelní scénu, nejen pro specifika divadla loutkového. Záměrem návrhu je vytvořit prostor pro divadelníky dle jejich potřeb a neopomenout estetiku výtvarných, architektonických požadavků nad rámec lapidárního stavebnictví. Vertikalita umožňuje efektívny pracovný tok. Hmota divadelní budovy vycházela z návrhu hracího prostoru.
