Implementace biopotravin a lokálních potravin do společného stravování

Various efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions are increasingly being seen around the world. Agriculture and the food sector contribute to greenhouse gas emissions, and therefore it is necessary to introduce measures aimed at their mitigation. Organic food and short supply chains are associated with lower environmen-tal impacts, and school canteens offer great scope for mitigating climate change just by implementing these measures. An often-mentioned problem is the higher financial costs of buying organic or locally produced food. This work shows that, in the case of choosing the right ingredients and involving the right logistics, the fi-nancial costs for one portion do not have to exceed 1.5 % of the price increase. The work also shows that the implementation of organic food is not necessarily as key to mitigating climate change as the implementation of local food. To apply these results to other cases, research focused on specific canteens and their possibilities for the supply of local food is necessary. Ve světě lze stále častěji zaznamenávat různé snahy o snížení emisí skleníkových plynů. Zemědělství a potravinářský sektor k emisím skleníkových plynů přispívají svým dílem, a proto je nutné zavádět opatření zaměřená na jejich mitigaci. Biopo-traviny a krátké dodavatelské řetězce jsou spojovány s nižšími dopady na životní prostředí a školní jídelny nabízejí velký prostor pro zmírnění klimatické změny právě implementací těchto opatření. Často zmiňovaným problémem jsou vyšší finanční náklady na nákup biopotravin nebo potravin lokální produkce. Tato práce ukazuje, že v případě výběru vhodné suroviny a zapojení správné logistiky nemusí finanční náklady na jednu porci přesáhnout 1,5 % navýšení ceny. Práce dále ukazuje, že zařazení biopotraviny není nutně klíčové pro mitigaci klimatické změny tak, jako zařazení lokální potraviny. Pro uplatnění těchto výsledků na další případy je nutný výzkum zaměřený na konkrétní jídelny a jejich možnosti pro dodávku lokálních potravin.

The bachelor thesis explains the basic concepts related to marketing and marketing mix in the research part of the thesis. The practical part of the thesis deals with the beer brewery Popelin, its marketing and the actual production of beer. The situation in the Popelín brewery was evaluated by means of SWOT and PESTLE analysis and the 4P marketing mix of the brewery was evaluated. The evaluation of the situation in the brewery showed that the brewery has no problems with sales and does not need to invest in advertising because people like to come back. The biggest danger for the Popelin brewery and other micro breweries is the increase in the price of inputs, especially energy prices. Bakalářská práce se v rešeršní části práce vysvětlením základních pojmů týkajících se marketingu a marketingovým mixem. V praktické části práce se zabýváme pivovarem Popelín, jeho marketingem a vlastní výrobou piva. Situace v pivovaru Popelín byla zhodnocena pomocí SWOT a PESTLE analýzy a byl vyhodnocen 4P marketingový mix pivovaru. Z hodnocení situace v pivovaru vyplynulo, že pivovar nemá problémy s odbytem a nemusí investovat do reklamy, protože se sem lidé rádi vrací. Největší nebezpečí pro pivovar Popelín a ostatní minipivovary představuje zdražení vstupů, zejména ceny energií.

The main part of this thesis is an analysis of selected characters from MacDonald's The Princess and the Goblin and their interpretation in light of Jesus and his Gospel message. Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje skotskému spisovateli George MacDonaldovi a jeho přístupu k příběhům, jakožto nositelům hlubších významů. Hlavní částí této práce je analýza vybraných postav z MacDonaldovy knihy Princezna a skřítci a jejich interpretace ve světle Ježíše a jeho evangelijní zvěsti.

Psychedelic plants of natural nations

The aim of this thesis is to outline the diversity of cultural uses of psychedelics and the resulting possibilities for modern society. The bachelor thesis explores psychedelic plants and their use within the indigenous cultures of Mexico. The theoretical part provides a detailed description of the biology of these plant species, including taxonomy, morphology, distribution and habitat, and their active compounds. Chapters on the history and traditional uses of these plants follow. The final chapter of the theoretical part summarizes current knowledge about the potential of psychedelics in clinical practice. The practical part expands the topic to a global scale with a table of plant species containing psychedelics and being utilized to some extent by indigenous people. Informations about these species were selected from available literature. The table shows that the predominant species are from the families Cactaceae na Fabaceae, from Central and South America. Most comonnly from arid or moist habitats. From psychedelics, they mainly contain various tryptamines and phenylethylamines. Parts of the plant used are primarly seeds, stems and leaves. Cílem této práce je nastínit rozmanitost kulturního užívání psychedelik a z toho vyplívající možnosti pro moderní společnost. Bakalářská práce se zabývá psychedelickými rostlinami a jejich využíváním v rámci domorodých kultur Mexika. Teoretická část se věnuje detailnímu popisu biologie daných druhů rostlin, v níž je rozvedena taxonomie, morfologie, výskyt a habitat a obsahové látky. Následně jsou rostlinám věnovány kapitoly o historii a tradičních způsobech jejich využívání. Poslední kapitola teoretické části shrnuje dosavadní vědění o potenciálu psychedelik v klinické praxi. Praktická část rozvádí téma do celosvětového měřítka s tabulkou rostlinných druhů, které obsahují psychedelika a jsou v určité míře využívány původními obyvateli. Informace o druzích byly vyselektovány z dostupné literatury. Tabulka ukazuje, že jsou to převážně druhy z čeledí Cactaceae a Fabaceae, ze Střední a Jižní Ameriky. Nejčastěji z aridních nebo vlhkých biotopů. Z psychedelik obsahují hlavně různé tryptaminy a fenylethylaminy. Z rostlinných částí se používají zejména semena a lodyha.

This bachelor's thesis describes various ways of acquiring ownership rights to real property, exclusively methods of transfer of immovable property, their basic description, and a comparison of the differences between them. The practical part is then dedicated to analyzing a specific contract for the transfer of immovable property. Tato bakalářská práce popisuje jednotlivé způsoby nabytí vlastnického práva k nemovitým věcem, výhradně způsoby převodu nemovitých věcí, jejich základní popis a porovnání rozdílů mezi nimi. Praktická část je poté věnována rozboru konkrétní smlouvy o převodu nemovité věci.

Equinní rekurentní uveitida

ERU significantly impacts horse breeding not only in Europe. This disease, which can lead to recurrent inflammation of the uveal tract of the eye, is the main cause of blindness in horses. Its management and treatment require a careful and proactive approach from horse owners and veterinary ophthalmologists to minimize its effects and improve the quality of life for affected animals. Prevention, early diagnosis, and innovative treatment methods can play a key role in combating ERU. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to evaluate available data on the occurrence and treatment of ERU in various horses divided by age, gender, and type of housing through a questionnaire survey. ERU má značný dopad na chov koní nejen v Evropě. Toto onemocnění, které může vést k opakovaným zánětům uveálního traktu oka, je hlavní příčinou ztráty zraku u koní. Jeho správa a léčba vyžadují pečlivý a proaktivní přístup od majitelů koní a veterinárních oftalmologů, aby se minimalizovaly jeho dopady a zlepšila kvalita života postižených zvířat. Prevence, včasná diagnostika a inovativní léčebné metody, mohou hrát klíčovou roli v boji proti ERU. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření zhodnotit dostupné údaje z výskytu a léčby ERU u různých koní rozdělené dle věku, pohlaví a typu ustájení.

Butterflies in Czech Republic ZOOs: Evaluation of a collective survey

The thesis analyses inventory of butterflies in 20 Czech Republic zoological gardens, carried out in 2022-2023. The butterfly fauna of invididual ZOOs is diverse and highly variable. In total, 56 butterflies and 3 burntet moths were recorded. Records of 14 species included in the national red list (1 endangered, 3 vulnerable, 10 near threatened) emphasize the conservatoin potential of ZOOs. Regressions of species richness revealed importance of the factors, which affect species richness of other clearly delimited land units, namely on area (correlated with annual budget and numbers of visitors in case of the ZOOs) and altitude range, as proxy for habitat diversity. Applying indirect (DCA) and direct (RDA) ordination methods failed to detect predictors of species' composition. This was probaby due to relatively small sample size, compared with the diversity of individual ZOOs. Práce se zabývá inventarizací denních motýlů 20 českých zoologických zahrad v letech 2022-2023. Fauna denních motýlů českých zoologických zahrad je pestrá a různorodá. Bylo zde zjištěno 56 denních motýlů (Papilionoidea) a 3 vřetenušky (Zygaenidae). Nálezy 14 druhů figurujících v Červeném seznamu (1 ohrožený, 3 zranitelné, 10 téměř ohrožených) zdůrazňují význam ZOO pro ochranu domácí fauny. Regresní analýzy ukázaly, že početnost motýlích druhů v zoo určují stejné faktory jako v jiných zřetelně vymezených územích, tedy rozloha (korelovaná s nákladností a návštěvností) a rozvýšení coby proxy stanovištní diverzity. Výsledky nepřímé (DCA) a přímých (RDA) ordinací neodhalily žádné prediktory vysvětlující druhové složení jednotlivých ZOO - což je pravděpodobně dáno relativně malým N vzhledem k obrovské různorodosti zahrad jako takových.

Factors affecting the growth and survival of populations of the Lady's Slipper Orchid in the Svitavy region

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to investigate the biology and ecology of the Lady's slipper orchid (Cypripedium calceolus) and to determine the influence of various (a)biotic factors on its growth and survival at 8 sites in the Svitavy region. Studied factors included canopy cover, soil parameters, forest type etc. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo vypracování literární rešerše o biologii a ekologii střevíčníku pantoflíčku (Cypripedium calceolus) a zjištění vlivu různých (a)biotických faktorů na růst a přežívání na 8 lokalitách v blízkém okolí Svitav a Velkých Opatovic, a v oblasti Třebovského mezihoří. Do zkoumaných faktorů patřil korunový zápoj, pokryvnosti vegetačních pater, vybrané půdní parametry, typ lesa atd.

The process s of adaptation of preschool children with ASD in kindergartens

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse how children with autism spectrum disorder adapt in different situations, how they manage the adaptation process as such and at the same time to find possibilities that can help teachers and parents during further adaptation. In order to achieve the given goal, I have chosen two methods, which are the method of observation and an interview with parents/educators. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis is divided into 7 chapters in which I have presented the information I have obtained from books and online sources. The practical part describes the progress of both methods and also the answers to the chosen areas that were created to process the interviews. It then contains a conclusion and summary of the results. The results show that the most important thing for adaptation is the individual approach, patience, and most importantly communication between the parent and the teacher, because that makes it much easier to get closer to the child, understand him/her and then figure out what approach to choose in order to get the best result and progress for the child. At the same time, it is important not to put much pressure on the child during the adaptation process and to let the child get used to it and be happy, because if we put demands on the child from the beginning, it can be stressful for the child and then he or she. Cílem bakalářské práce je zanalyzovat, jakým způsobem, se děti s poruchou autistického spektra adaptují v různých situacích, jakým způsobem zvládají proces adaptace jako takový a zároveň nalezení možností, které pedagogům a rodičům mohou pomoci v průběhu další adaptace. Pro dosažení daného cíle jsem zvolila dvě metody, kterými je metoda pozorování a rozhovor s rodiči/pedagogy. Teoretická část bakalářské práce je rozdělena do 7 kapitol, ve kterých jsem uvedla informace, které jsem získala z knih a online zdrojů. V praktické části se nachází průběh z obou metod a také odpovědi na zvolené oblasti, které byly vytvořeny pro zpracování rozhovorů. Následně obsahuje závěr a shrnutí výsledků. Z výsledů vychází, že pro adaptaci je nejdůležitější individuální přístup, trpělivost, a hlavně komunikace mezi rodičem a pedagogem, protože díky tomu je pak mnohem snazší se dostat blíže k tomu dítěti, pochopit ho a následně vymyslet jaký přístup zvolit, aby výsledek a pokrok dítěte byl nejlepší. Zároveň je důležité na dítě během procesu adaptace nijak netlačit a nechat ho, aby si zvyklo a bylo spokojené, protože pokud na něj budeme od začátku klást nároky, tak to pro dítě může být stresující a poté si bude pojit docházení do mateřské školy s nepříjemným pocitem a bude z toho nešťastné.

Indoorové pěstitelské systémy z pohledu Life Cycle Assessment

The aim of this work was to quantify the environmental impacts of growing vegetables in an indoor system using the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method. The work included the experiment itself and data collection, as well as creating a literature review, defining the goals and scope of the assessment according to ISO 14040 and 14044 standards, data inventory, impact evaluation, and data interpretation with the aim of detecting the main sources of environmental burden and proposing measures for their reduction. A model of hydroponic cultivation of salad cucumber was presented as part of a project at the University of South Bohemia, where all processes from the acquisition of raw materials to production, including the consumption of water, materials, energy, and waste production, were taken into account. Hypotheses assumed that the greatest impacts would be associated with energy consumption and that the most affected categories would be toxicity and water consumption. The results of the study point to a significant environmental impact associated with energy inputs. Electrical energy, its production and consumption, represents up to 92 % of the total environmental load within the model. Cílem této práce bylo kvantifikovat environmentální dopady pěstování zeleniny v indoor systému pomocí metody Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Práce zahrnovala samotný experiment a sběr dat, dále vytvoření literárního přehledu, definování cílů a rozsahu hodnocení dle norem ISO 14040, 14044, inventarizaci dat, vyhodnocení dopadů a interpretaci dat s cílem detekovat hlavní zdroje environmentální zátěže a navrhnout opatření pro jejich redukci. Byl představen model hydroponického pěstování salátové okurky v rámci projektu na Jihočeské univerzitě, kde byly zohledněny všechny procesy od získávání surovin po produkci, včetně spotřeby vody, materiálů, energií a produkce odpadů. Hypotézy předpokládaly, že největší dopady budou spojeny se spotřebou energie a že nejvíce ovlivněné kategorie budou toxicita a spotřeba vody. Výsledky studie poukazují na významný environmentální dopad, který je spojen se vstupy energií. Elektrická energie, její výroba a spotřeba, představuje v rámci modelu až 92 % z celkového environmentálního zatížení.
