The topic of the bachelor thesis is the sport of cheerleading and its influence on youth leisure. The research will be carried out by observing members of the Dark Foxes cheerleading team in České Budějovice through time-lapse photography. The result of the research should be a compariosn of direct and indirect realization of cheerleading sport. In addition to the diary, the respondents were interviewed over their diary and the topic of the interview was whether cheerleading is a leisure aktivity for them. Tématem bakalářské práce je cheerleadingový sport a jeho vliv na volný čas mládeže. Výzkum bude realizován pozorováním členů Českobudějovického týmu Dark Foxes cheerleaders skrze deník. Výsledkem výzkumu by mělo být porovnání přímé a nepřímé realizace cheerleadingového sportu. Kromě deníku byl s respondenty veden rozhovor nad jejich deníkem a tématem rozhovoru bylo, zda je pro ně cheerleading jejich volnočasovou aktivitou.

The bachelor thesis titled Association Activity in Soběslav - Tradition and Present deals with the development of association activity in Soběslav and its transformation up to the present. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part the basic concepts are first explained. Next, the development of the association law during different historical periods is described and the transformation from the 19th and 20th century is also explained and the depiction of the town of Soběslav in which the following associations were or still are active. The research part aims to compare the opinions of the inhabitants of the town and its surroundings on the importance of associations in the small town today. Bakalářská práce s názvem Spolková činnost v Soběslavi - Tradice a současnost se zabývá vývojem spolkové činnosti ve městě Soběslav a její proměnou až do současnosti. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. V teoretické části jsou nejdříve vysvětleny základní pojmy. Dále popsán vývoj spolkového práva během různých historických období, představena proměna 19. a 20. století a zobrazení města Soběslav, ve kterém následující spolky působily nebo zde stále působí. Výzkumná část si klade za cíl porovnat názory obyvatel města a jeho okolí na významnost spolků v současnosti na maloměstě.

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the material furnishings of the women's rooms in the castle in Sokolov at the beginning of the 1780s. The main source for the author was the post-mortem inventory of Eleonora Maria of Nostic from 1681. In its interpretation, the thesis first clarifies the topography of the rooms occupied by the noblewoman. Thesis then outlines the typology of objects recorded on the pages of the written document, which include devotionals, paintings, textiles, jewellery, tableware and objects for the usage of tobacco. At the same time, the thesis raises questions about the significance of individual objects in the everyday and non-everyday life of the noblewoman. To the extent that the narrative value of the source allowed, the author also asks questions about the symbolic decoration of the objects owned, which reflected the value ranking and thought world of the early modern noblewoman. Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou hmotného vybavení ženských pokojů na zámku v Sokolově na počátku osmdesátých let 17. století. Hlavním pramenem se autorovi stal pozůstalostní inventář po Eleonoře Marii z Nostic z roku 1681. Ve svém výkladu nejprve blíže ozřejmuje topografii prostor, které šlechtična obývala. Dále naznačuje typologii předmětů zachycených na stránkách písemného pramene, mezi něž lze zařadit devocionálie, obrazy, textilie, šperky, nádobí a předměty k užívání tabáku. Současně si klade otázky ohledně významu jednotlivých předmětů ve všedním i nekaždodenním životě urozené dámy. Pokud to vypovídací hodnota pramene dovolila, autor si také klade otázky ohledně symbolické výzdoby vlastněných předmětů, do níž se promítal hodnotový žebříček a myšlenkový svět raně novověké šlechtičny.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on Karl Klostermann and his works Böhmerwaldskizzen, Heiterres und Trauriges aus Böhmerwald and other German-language texts, which were published primarily in magazines and secondarily in books in the original language and in Czech translations. The author will focus on these works and their distribution in detail and present them in terms of genre and subject matter. The work will also include a comparison of translations of Böhmerwaldskizzen / Črt ze Šumavy by Marie Stunová (1923) and Bohumil Nohejl (1986). Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje Karlu Klostermannovi a jeho dílu Böhmerwaldskizzen, Heiterres und Trauriges aus dem Böhmerwald a dalším německy psaným textům jeho tvorby, které vycházely primárně časopisecky, sekundárně byly vydávány knižně v originále i českých překladech. Autorka tuto tvorbu a její distribuci detailně zmapuje a představí ji po stránce žánrové i tematické. Součástí práce bude i komparace překladů Böhmerwaldskizzen / Črt ze Šumavy Marie Stunové z roku 1923 a Bohumila Nohejla z roku 1986.

The Western Perception of the East as the Orient in Agatha Christie's Detective Novels

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the motives of Orientalism, which undoubtedly contributed to the creation of the phenomenon called Orient, in selected novels written by Agatha Christie, as the author of the Western world in the early 20th century, built on European colonialism. The thesis focuses on the complexity of the concept of Orientalism, which is the way the East was understood and treated for the benefit of the Western society, in this case the British, who, at the time of the analysed novels, were the most significant world empire. Furthermore, this thesis briefly deals with Agatha Christie, her career of a writer, and of course travelling, as it is an inherent part of the analysis. The events she experienced both in the West and in the East have undeniably influenced her work in many aspects, nonetheless, the depiction of the Orient is the most obvious one. This influence is particularly evident in her detective novels Appointment with Death and Murder in Mesopotamia, which will be analysed in the last chapter. Last but not least, this thesis focuses on the way Agatha Christie projects the period discourse of the West into her novels, influencing and subsequently creating stereotypical ideas about the East. Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza motivů orientalismu, které nepochybně přispěly k vytváření fenoménu zvaného Orient, a to ve vybraných dílech Agathy Christie, jakožto autorky západního světa na počátku 20. století, postaveného na evropském kolonialismu. Práce nejprve přibližuje komplexitu pojmu orientalismus, tedy způsobu, jakým byl Východ chápán a jakým s ním bylo zacházeno ve prospěch západní společnosti, v tomto případě Brity, kteří byli v době vzniku zkoumaných děl světovou mocností. Dále se tato práce krátce zabývá Agathou Christie a jejím spisovatelským i cestovatelským životem, jelikož jde o neodmyslitelnou část celého rozboru. Události, které zažila jak na Západě, tak i Východě, nepopíratelně ovlivnily její tvorbu v mnoha aspektech především z pohledu vyobrazení Orientu. Nejvíce je tento vliv Východu patrný zejména v jejích detektivních románech Appointment with Death a Murder in Mesopotamia, které budou zkoumány v poslední kapitole. Práce se tedy v neposlední řadě zaměřuje na způsob, jakým Agatha Christie promítá dobový diskurz Západu do svých děl a kterým ovlivňuje a následně i vytváří stereotypní představy o Východu.

The bachelorś thesis focuses on the chapter of the history of the german primary school in Strýčice from the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century. It explores the beginnings of the village and the school, presenting the stucture of the two main unpublished sources. By connecting and comparing these sources, it provides insight into the daily lives of the local German inhabitants. This is to offer an easier access to the extensive material for further scientific research dealing with life in this region. The thesis is completed by historical facts about the area of the educational system from professional literature and further uses information from regional literature. Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na část historie německé obecné školy ve Strýčicích na konci 19. a počátku 20. století. Představuje počátky obce a školy a zároveň strukturu dvou hlavních nevydaných pramenů a pomocí jejich propojení a komparace přibližuje život zdejších německých obyvatel v každodenních situacích. Nahlédnutí do obsáhlých nevydaných pramenů, zjištění jejich základních informací a jejich struktury si dává za cíl umožnit snadnější přístup k obsáhlému materiálu při dalším zpracování na vědecké i badatelské úrovni zabývající se tématem života v tomto kraji. Práce je doplněna historickými fakty oblasti školství z odborné literatury a používá i informace z literatury regionální.

Aesthetics in the Early Philosophy of A. N. Whitehead

This bachelor thesis is devoted to aesthetic reflections, concepts, and terms in Alfred North Whitehead's early philosophical work, with a particular focus on his ideas as expressed in his works on education. It particularly presents Whitehead's concept of style, his concept of the rhythm of education, and the art of life. Based on these three pillars, it shows in what ways aesthetic ideas permeate Whitehead's work. Its goal is to appropriately connect these ideas and demonstrate their close nature. In addition to Whitehead's books on education, the author also works with differently focused sources that are relevant for the support and deepening of the discussed ideas. Bakalářská práce se věnuje estetickým úvahám, konceptům a pojmům v raném filozofickém díle Alfreda North Whiteheada, se zaměřením na jeho myšlenky vyvěrající z jeho knih o vzdělání. Představuje zejména Whiteheadovo pojetí stylu, jeho koncept rytmu vzdělání a umění žít. Na základě těchto tří pilířů ukazuje, jakými způsoby estetické myšlenky pronikají Whiteheadovým dílem. Za cíl si klade tyto myšlenky vhodně propojit a ukázat jejich blízkou povahu. Mimo Whiteheadových knih o vzdělání autor pracuje i s odlišně zaměřenými prameny, které jsou pro podporu a prohloubení probíraných myšlenek relevantní.

The bachelor's thesis will focus on the ways in which Marvel's comic media has pervaded the Czech cultural space. The first step will be to present how Marvel comics entered the Czech market, while also emphasizing the specifics of Czech reception. Next, the thesis will focus on film adaptations of the comic media and outline how the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe were received in the local context. The final step will outline the image of the Czech fan community, addressing questions about the functioning of the fandom. Thus, the bachelor's thesis will aim to reflect on this global phenomenon within the context of local cultural circumstances. Bakalářská práce se bude věnovat způsobům pronikání tvorby komiksového média Marvel do českého kulturního prostoru. V prvním kroku bude představeno, jak se komiksy Marvel dostávaly na český trh, přičemž se zároveň bude klást důraz na specifika české recepce. Dále se práce zaměří na filmové adaptace komiksového média a nastíní, jak byly filmy studia Marvel Cinematic Universe přijímány v místním kontextu. V posledním kroku bude nastíněn obraz české fanouškovské komunity, který se bude dotýkat otázek fungování fandomu. Bakalářská práce tak bude směrovat k reflexi tohoto globálního fenoménu v kontextu lokáních kulturních souvislostech.

Learning through theatre. Applying drama teaching techniques in teaching Czech language and literature at secondary schools

The bachelor thesis focuses on theatre as a didactic tool for teaching the Czech language and literature in high schools. The theoretical part is based on specialised literature. Attention is paid to the history of theatre, application of dramatic methods in high school teaching and the representation of plays in Czech language and literature textbooks. The practical part consists of two chapters. The first presents two examples of didactic themes for high school lessons, specifically the drama Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare and České nebe by the authors of the Jára Cimrman Theatre Zdeněk Svěrák and Ladislav Smoljak. The second chapter focuses on a survey conducted in selected high schools. It focuses on the popularity of dramas among students and their representation in teaching within the thematic plans of teachers. The thesis includes examples of worksheets that would appropriately motivate students to read based on classroom activities or to visit the theatre. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to popularize teaching of drama in the subject of Czech language and literature, integrate three areas of Czech language teaching (writing, literature, and language), develop communication skills for future professional application, and strengthen the cohesion of the class collective. Bakalářská práce se soustředí na divadlo jako didaktický prostředek pro výuku českého jazyka a literatury na středních školách. Teoretická část vychází z odborné literatury. Pozornost je věnována historii divadla, dramatickým metodám ve středoškolské výuce a rovněž zastoupení divadelních her v učebnicích českého jazyka a literatury. Praktická část se skládá ze dvou kapitol. V první z nich jsou představeny dvě ukázky didaktických námětů do středoškolské výuky, a to konkrétně drama od Williama Shakespeara Romeo a Julie a České nebe od autorské dvojice Divadla Járy Cimrmana Zdeňka Svěráka a Ladislava Smoljaka. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na dotazníkové šetření, které se uskutečnilo na vybraných středních školách. Upře se na to, jakou oblibu mají dramata u žáků a jaké mají zastoupení ve výuce v rámci tematických plánů vyučujících. Součástí práce jsou ukázky pracovních listů, jež by vhodně motivovaly žáky k četbě na základě práce v hodině nebo k návštěvě divadla. Cílem bakalářské práce je popularizovat dramatickou výchovu v rámci předmětu český jazyk a literatura, integrovat tři oblasti výuky češtiny (sloh, literatura a jazyk), rozvíjet komunikační kompetence pro budoucí uplatnění v praxi a posílit utužování třídního kolektivu.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the legislation governing the distribution of cosmetic products on the European market and on an analysis of the legal terminology supplemented by a bilingual glossary. The aim of the dissertation is to analyse the legislation governing the distribution of cosmetic products and all the current requirements, and to identify their limitations and the obstacles that may arise for distributors and other players on the Czech and European markets. The thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter serves as a theoretical introduction to the regulation of the European Union's internal market and the benefits that this market brings to the cosmetics sector. The second chapter is devoted to an analysis of the legal framework governing the distribution of cosmetic products in the EU, both European primary and secondary law and Czech legislation and its requirements for the import and distribution of cosmetic products on the Czech market, as well as potential obstacles to the import and distribution of cosmetic products on the Czech market. The third chapter is devoted to an analysis of the legal terminology and vocabulary used in this dissertation, as well as a comparison of Czech and French legal terms. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na právní předpisy upravující distribuci kosmetických výrobků na evropském trhu a na analýzu právní terminologie doplněnou dvojjazyčným glosářem. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat právní předpisy upravující distribuci kosmetických výrobků a všechny související aktuální požadavky a identifikovat jejich případné omezení a překážky, které mohou distributorům a dalším subjektům na českém a evropském trhu bránit. Práce se skládá ze tří kapitol. První kapitola slouží jako teoretický úvod do regulace vnitřního trhu Evropské unie a výhod, které tento trh přináší kosmetickému odvětví. Druhá kapitola analyzuje právní rámec upravující distribuci kosmetických výrobků v EU, a to jak primární a sekundární evropské právo, tak i českou legislativu a její požadavky na dovoz a distribuci kosmetických výrobků na českém trhu, stejně jako možné překážky dovozu a distribuce kosmetických výrobků na českém trhu. třetí kapitola analyzuje právní terminologii a slovní zásobu užitou v této práci a porovnává české a francouzské právní termíny.
