This thesis is about computer vision using a ToF camera. The thesis summarizes the history of ToF cameras and their use. The text also includes the parameters of the cameras I worked with and describes the used libraries, OpenCV and wxWidgets. The text also describes the proposal and subsequently the description of the created application intended for counting people. The work also includes a description of the functionality of the designed application and a proposal for possible further modifications of the application. Tato práce se zabývá počítačovým viděním pomocí ToF kamery. V práci je shrnuta historie ToF kamer a jejich využití. V textu jsou zároveň uvedeny parametry kamer, se kterými jsem pracoval a popsány využité knihovny, OpenCV a wxWidgets. Dále je v textu popsán návrh a následně i popis vytvořené aplikace určené k počítání osob. V práci je také popis funkčnosti navržené aplikace a návrh možných dalších úprav aplikace.

Analysis of an asynchronous machine with electronically switchable pole count.

This Masters thesis deals with pole-changing machines. Advantages and possible design of these machines was presented in the first chapter. The use of pole-changing machines in electric traction was discussed in the second chapter, together with the possibility of fluent pole change. The last chapter deals with construction of these machines and their inventors. In the fourth chapter an equivalent circuit model of the machine was presented and later used to calculate basic machine parameters for the use in finite element method. In the fifth chapter a machine with toroidal winding was designed, which allows various coil connections and thus it allows the winding to have different pole and phase count. Several possible connections and combinations of phase and pole numbers were presented and exemined with the help of finite element method. Based on this analysis, an asynchronous motor with distributed winding was designed in the last chapter and its ability to increase efficiency at higher speeds by changing the number of poles was verified. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá elektrickými stroji s přepínatelným počtem pólů. V první kapitole byly uvedeny výhody těchto strojů a možnosti jejich konstrukce. V druhé kapitole bylo diskutováno využití těchto strojů v elektrické trakci a způsoby plynulého přepínání pólů, které tato aplikace vyžaduje. V třetí části byla představena návrhová problematika strojů s přepínatelným počtem pólů a jejich frekvenčních měničů. Ve čtvrté kapitole byl popsán náhradní model pro určení základních parametrů stroje pro pozdější využití s metodou konečných prvků. V páté kapitole byl navržen stroj s toroidním vinutím umožňující libovolné propojení cívek a vinutí lze tedy zapojit s různým počtem pólů a fází. Dále zde byly představeny a zkoumány kombinace zapojení s různým počtem pólů a fází s pomocí metody konečných prvků. Na základě této analýzy byl v poslední kapitole navržen asynchronní motor s rozloženým vinutím, u kterého byla ověřena schopnost zvýšení účinnosti při vyšších otáčkách změnou počtu pólů.

Modernization of Tenryu Pick and Place Machine

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the current state of the machine and to propose a possible solution for the modernization of the machine and to implement selected parts. The thesis includes documentation of the original state of the Tenryu MT-5530LQ automatic machine and its documentation after modernization. In the introductory part, the theory of the automatic machine is described, this chapter is followed by a description of the function and design of the aforementioned machine. The third chapter describes and identifies the machine components that need to be replaced or repaired. The fourth chapter of this thesis contains a complete proposal for the modernization of the machine, including the possible results of the modernization. These previous chapters are followed by chapters 5, 6 and 7 where new cards for the proposed control system are described and the thesis concludes with a summary of the impact of the upgrade on the machine including options for continuing to upgrade the machine. Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit stávající stav osazovacího automatu a navrhnout možné řešení modernizace stroje a realizovat vybrané části. Součástí práce je dokumentace původního stavu automatu Tenryu MT-5530LQ a jeho dokumentace po modernizaci. V úvodní části je popsána teorie osazovacích automatů, na tuto kapitolu navazuje popis funkce a konstrukce již zmíněného automatu. Ve třetí kapitole se nacházejí popsané a vytipované součásti stroje, které je nutno nahradit, či opravit. Ve čtvrté kapitole této práce se nachází kompletní návrh modernizace automatu včetně možných výsledků modernizace. Na tyto předchozí kapitoly navazují kapitoly číslo 5, 6 a 7, kde jsou popsané nové karty pro nový řídicí systém a práce je zakončena shrnutím dopadu modernizace na stroj včetně možností dalšího pokračování na modernizaci stroje.

This thesis is about design of a transformation station for power output from both a photovoltaic power plant and a diesel generator, serving as grid support. The primary objective is to devise a comprehensive solution including conceptualization, grid connection point, and transformer specifications capable of handling the 5 MW power output from the PV plant and the 1000 kW output from the diesel generator, including the calculation of short-circuit conditions. Furthermore, the thesis delves into the design of network breakpoints and protective measures.Lastly, it proposes dispatch control and billing metering in accordance with the operational requirements stipulated by the distribution system operator. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem transformační stanice pro vyvedení výkonu z fotovoltaické elektrárny a diesel-generátoru ve funkci podpůrné služby sítě. Hlavním cílem práce je navrhnout komplexní řešení, které zahrnuje koncepci, místo připojení v distribuční síti a návrh transformátorů pro vyvedení výkonu FVE o výkonu 5 MW a podpůrného zdroje diesel-generátoru o výkonu 1000 kW, včetně výpočtu zkratových poměrů. V práci jsou dále navrženy rozpadové body a ochrany sítě. V závěrečné části práce je navrženo dispečerské řízení a obchodní měření v souladu s podmínkami provozovatele distribuční sítě.

Design of a community center for the city of Vyškov with a focus on supporting and improving the quality of life for disabled or socially disadvantaged persons and people with autism spectrum disorders. The proposal itself includes both the creation of a new community center and the completion of the public space and connection to the castle garden. Návrh komunitního centra pro město Vyškov se zaměřením na podporu a zkvalitnění života zdravotně postiženým či sociálně znevýhodněným osobám a lidem s poruchou autistického spektra. Samotný návrh zahrnuje jak vytvoření novotvaru komunitního centra, tak dotvoření veřejného prostoru a napojení se na zámeckou zahradu.

Architecture Staging Interactions in Space

Architectural space is a staged space; architects use the plan to delineate the interaction of man with space, man with man, and space with space itself. In this way, Architecture becomes a staging oscillating between actual and virtual space. Time is fast and we keep accelerating. Thus, the virtual component of architecture, until recently neglected, is becoming increasingly important. Once again, there is a need to get ducks in a row. Through a critical interpretation of texts, buildings and events, the thesis seeks to find a position, practices and tools of architecture that enable it to embody the ever-metamorphosing spirit of the times. Rather than establishing a canon according to which to construct, I seek to sift the meanings, realities and affirmations of the time that will allow me to realign my point of view, establish a position and prepare myself to enter the world of architecture. The text is composed of three layers. The first is an essay that tries to answer the question through an interpretation of the contemporary social scene and the role of architecture in it: What happened to archi-architecture? The second layer, through the example of the evolution of architectural imagery, addresses the necessity of engaging consciousness in constructing architecture through which we structure the human landscape. The third layer is the form of the work itself, which seeks to find a medium of architecture that would allow to update the discourse and stir the stagnant waters of the present, trapped between the inability of the young generation to read and the necessity of critical reading to develop conscious processes. And what else is architecture but a conscious reorganization of space? Architektonický prostor je prostorem inscenovaným, architekti pomocí plánu vytyčují interakce člověka s prostorem, člověka s člověkem, ale i prostoru s prostorem samotným. Tím se Architektura stává inscenací oscilující mezi aktuálním a virtuálním prostorem. Doba je rychlá a stále zrychlujeme. Donedávna opomíjená virtuální složka architektury tak nabývá stále většího významu. Opět tak vzniká potřeba srovnat si svou pozici. Diplomová práce se skrze kritickou interpretaci textů, staveb a událostí snaží nalézt takovou pozici, takové praktiky a takové nástroje architektury, které umožní ztělesňovat neustále se metamorfujícího se ducha doby. Spíše než o stanovení kánonu, podle nějž by se mělo konstruovat se snažím o prosévání významů, realit a afirmací doby, které mi umožní si srovnat úhel pohledu, stanovit si pozici a připravit se na vstup do profese architekta. Text je tvořen třemi vrstvami. První je esej snažící se skrze interpretaci současné scény společnosti a role architektury v ní zodpovědět na otázku: Co se stalo archi-tektuře? Druhá vrstva se skrze příklad vývoje zobrazování architektury, zabývá nezbytností zapojení vědomí při konstruování architektury, skrze níž strukturujeme krajinu člověka. Třetí vrstvou je samotná forma práce, která se snaží nalézt takové médium architektury, které by umožnilo aktualizovat diskurs a rozhýbat stojaté vody současnosti, uvězněné mezi neschopností mladé generace číst a nezbytností kritického čtení k rozvíjení vědomých procesů. A čím jiným je architektura než vědomou reorganizací prostoru?

SPATIAL CULTIVATION AND RESTORATION OF THE BUILDING CULTURE OF THE MINING SETTLEMENT IN BANSKÁ STIAVNICA (SK)

The diploma thesis deals with the city, which in the last decades has become a phenomenon that have expanded beyond the Slovak context. The former "silver well" of Hungary and at one time the largest mining centre of the Habsburg monarchy is now a UNESCO-labeled success story among the world's cities with a history of mineral extraction, and provides a haven for tourists as well as for a creative community of people coming from all over Slovakia. The volcanic territory of the Štiavnické Hills is intertwined with an urban structure set in a landscape that has been transformed by centuries of mining activity into a unique anthropomorphic entity. Its perception is largely "iconized" in the form of several "representatives" of the value of Banská Štiavnica - the Calvary, the Old and New Castle, the Square, Klopačka, Sitno Hill... But what lies beyond the interest in tourist destinations? If Banská Štiavnica's values could be simplified into the categories of urban and landscape, the interest of this thesis lies precisely between them - in the specific area of the miner's settlement of the slopes above the compact urban centre of the town. While the centre itself is firmly embedded in the perception of a 'significant historic city', the mining settlement of the slopes represents much more fragile values - as reflected in the monumental protection of the area, which was added to the core zone of the historical town reserve with a significant delay compared to the central part. The characteristic parcelization, the setting of buildings and roads in the steep terrain, the traditional farming reflecting the natural conditions and especially the buildings of local folk architecture reflecting the stylistic elements of the urban part of the town are a kind of shadow of the phenomenon of Banská Štiavnica. The lack of continuity in settlement, the intensification of cottage development and inappropriate landscaping, which erases years of cultural layering in the landscape, pose major challenges to the preservation of the value of Banská Štiavnica as a complex whole. The work therefore builds primarily on a strong analytical foundation that places the values and problems of this specific area in a broader context. The understanding of the fragile qualities of this territory is translated by the thesis into small interventions, which, however, are not a final, concrete proposal, but rather a materialization of principles of a conceptual, yet tangible approach. More than a project, therefore, the work should be an inspiration - whether for local actors, landowners, people in our professions or potential new permanent residents - to focus their attention also on the peripheral and overlooked places whose value is often hidden in the "everyday" and the ordinary. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá mestom, ktoré sa v posledných desaťročiach stalo fenoménom presahujúcim slovenský kontext. Niekdajšia "strieborná studňa" Uhorska a svojho času najväčšie banské centrum Habsburskej monarchie sa dnes pod hlavičkou UNESCO zaradila medzi úspešné príbehy svetových miest s minulosťou ťažby nerastných surovín, a poskytuje útočisko množstvu turistov aj špecifickej kreatívnej komunite ľudí, prichádzajúcich z celého Slovenska. Sopečné územie Štiavnických vrchov sa prelína s mestskou štruktúrou zasadenou do krajiny, ktorá bola po stáročia pretváraná banskou činnosťou do unikátneho antropomorfného celku. Jeho vnímanie je do veľkej miery "ikonizované" do podoby niekoľkých "reprezentantov" hodnoty Banskej Štiavnice - Kalvária, Starý a Nový zámok, námestie, Klopačka, vrch Sitno... Čo však leží za hranicou záujmu o turistické ciele? Ak by sa dali zjednodušiť hodnoty Banskej Štiavnice na urbánnu a krajinnú, tak záujem tejto diplomovej práce leží presne medzi nimi - v špecifickom území bývalého baníckeho osídlenia svahov nad kompaktným, urbánnym centrom mesta. Kým centrum samotné je pevne zakotvené vo vnímaní "významného historického mesta", banícke osídlenie svahov predstavuje omnoho krehkejšie hodnoty - čo odzrkadľuje aj pamiatková ochrana územia, ktoré bolo oproti centrálnej časti pričlenené do jadrového územia pamiatkovej zóny s výrazným oneskorením. Charakteristická parcelácia, osadenie budov a komunikácií do strmého terénu, tradičné hospodárenie odzrkadľujúce prírodné podmienky a najmä stavby miestnej ľudovej architektúry reflektujúce slohové prvky urbánnej časti mesta sú akýmsi tieňom fenoménu Banskej Štiavnice. Chýbajúca kontinuita trvalého osídlenia, intenzifikácia chalupárskej zástavby a nevhodné úpravy, ktoré vymazávajú roky kultúrneho vrstvenia v krajine, predstavujú veľké výzvy pre uchovanie hodnoty Banskej Štiavnice ako komplexného celku. Práca preto stavia predovšetkým na silnom analytickom základe, ktorý uvádza hodnoty aj problémy tohto špecifického územia do širokého kontextu. Chápanie krehkých kvalít tohto územia práca prenáša do náčrtu malých zásahov, ktoré však nie sú konečným, konkrétnym návrhom, ale skôr zhmotnením princípov ako s územím pracovať koncepčne, no zároveň uchopiteľne. Viac než projektom by preto práca mala byť inšpiráciou - či už pre miestnych aktérov, návštevníkov, ľudí z našich profesií, alebo potenciálnych budúcich, nových trvalých obyvateľov tohto územia, aby zamerali svoju pozornosť aj na miesta periférne a prehliadané, ktorých hodnota je často skrytá v každodennosti a obyčajnosti.

We've lost water. We've lost natural contact with it. Thanks to climate change, we find ourselves in a situation where we either have too much water - flash floods and melting snow, or we have a shortage during increasingly frequent droughts. Solutions are nowhere in sight. We're borrowing water from underground reserves and not planning to repay it. And yet, when it does rain, the water slips through our fingers straight out of the cities. Go away! It is necessary to reintegrate water into the everyday functioning of the city, perceive it as a fundamental part equivalent to any other infrastructure, such as greenery. Greenery = bluery. It is necessary to retain water in place. More water won't just appear, drinking water is scarce, so it's not only reasonable but crucial for our future to preserve at least a drop or two. Visible with the invisible. Visible surface flags, imaginary cherries on the technological cake in the form of underground cathedrals or banks. Aqua bank. Ztratili jsme vodu. Ztratili jsme s ní přirozený kontakt. Díky změně klimatu se dostáváme do situace, ve které máme buď vody moc – přívalové deště a tající sníh, anebo jí máme nedostatek během čím dál častějších such. Řešení jsou v nedohlednu. Vodu si na dluh bereme z podzemních rezerv a neplánujeme ho splatit. A přitom, když už nám zaprší, tak nám voda protéká přímo skrze prsty skrze města ven. Pryč, pryč, pryč! Je třeba vrátit vodu do každodenního běhu města, vnímat ji jako zásadní součást ekvivalentní jakékoliv jiné infrastruktuře, třeba zeleni. Zeleň = modřeň. Je potřeba si udržovat vodu na místě. Víc vody se nám jen tak neobjeví, pitné je málo, a tak je nejen rozumné, ale i zásadní pro naši budoucnost si nějaký ten ždibec ponechávat. Viditelné s neviditelným. Viditelné pozemní praporky, pomyslné třešínky na technologickém dortu ve formě podzemních katedrál či bank. Aqua bank.

A free evening, a gathering with friends, a celebration, or a stop on a journey. All of these are provided by the pub. A Czech phenomenon, so uniquely ingrained in our culture, whose characteristics extend far beyond just the taproom with beer foam and clinking glasses. Over time, it has taken on various forms, its development influenced by numerous external factors. However, we can confidently say that its traits endure in any era or manifestation. Tradition, a sense of belonging, communication, and above all, a refuge where time changes its pace. A place that welcomes its guests with open arms and assurance. The thesis responds to the current state of pub culture in the Sudeten region of Bruntálsko and Rýmařovsko, presenting a manual for Czech pubs with a specific application to the conceptual vision in the given area. It builds upon a pre-diploma project summarizing the evolution and function of pubs over time. The proposal is informed by insights gained from observing the phenomenon. It engages with existing establishments, aiming to breathe life into them and proposing ways to approach them in the present day. Volný večer, sraz s přáteli, oslava, nebo zastávka na výletě. To vše nám poskytuje hospoda. Český fenomén, pro naši kulturu tak jedinečný, jehož vlastnosti daleko přesahují jen výčep s pivní pěnou a cinkání skla. V průběhu časů nabírala různých podob a její vývoj reagoval na řadu vnějších faktorů. S jistotou však můžeme říct, že její rysy přetrvávají v kterékoliv době i formě. Tradice, pocit sounáležitosti, komunikace a hlavně útočště, kde čas mění svou rychlost. Místo, které přijímá své hosty s otevřenou náručí a jistotou. Diplomová práce reaguje na současnou situaci hospodské kultury v sudetské oblasti Bruntálska a Rýmařovska a předkládá manuál české hospody s konkrétní aplikací na koncepční vizi v dané oblasti. Navazuje na předdiplomový projekt, jehož obsah shrnoval vývoj a funkci hospody v průběhu časů. Návrh vychází z poznatků získaných při sledování fenoménu. Pracuje se stávajícími objekty, kterým se snaží vrátit život a navrhnout způsob, jak je v dnešní době uchopit.

The Ideal City Nitra: The Klokočina Central Zone

The research objective of my diploma thesis is to identify and examine the potential of the central zone of the Klokočina housing estate in Nitra City through a spatial study. I work with the urban development concept proposed in the city zoning plan, which I thoroughly analyse and further develop. The main emphasis of the work is on creating a quality public space and promoting socially sustainable ways of future building development. I design new urban spaces and the subsequent urban building structure that shapes the new urban spaces. The proposed spatial study can serve the city of Nitra as a quality reference material for decision-making in the territory and spatial planning, which provides sustainable urban development. Cieľom mojej diplomovej práce je prostredníctvom územnej štúdie identifikovať a preveriť potenciál územia centrálnej zóny sídliska Klokočina v Nitre. Pracujem s koncepciou mestského rozvoja navrhnutou v územnom pláne, ktorú dôkladne analyzujem a ďalej rozvíjam. Hlavný dôraz práce je kladený na vytvorenie kvalitného verejného priestoru a podporu sociálne udržateľnej výstavby. Navrhujem nové mestské priestory a nadväzujúcu štruktúru zástavby, ktorá nové mestské priestory formuje. Územná štúdia je vypracovaná s ambíciou slúžiť mestu Nitra ako kvalitný referenčný materiál pre rozhodovanie v území a územné plánovanie, ktoré zabezpečí udržateľný rozvoj daného územia.
