Didactical situations in construction of mathematical concept in preschool education

2015 - Czech The dissertation explored didactical situations, in which mathematical concepts in nursery schools are created and specified. It discusses the link between two issues related to institutional pre-school mathematics education. These are: Do children in nursery schools have opportunity to discover mathematical concepts? What is characteristic for didactical situations, in which it happens? Dissertation is organised according to a scheme "theory-methodology-empirical findings". Presented research is realized as qualitative, data material is formed by written narratives, chosen analytical procedures belong to the framework grounded theory method. In the main research I managed not only to compare individual narrations of teachers from nursery schools and identify various teachers´ actions, practises and types of didactical situations, but also to find the form of the mathematical didactical situation in the environment of nursery schools. Disertační práce je věnována didaktickým situacím, ve kterých se v mateřské škole vytvářejí a zpřesňují matematické pojmy. Zabývá se propojením dvou témat, která souvisejí s průběhem institucionálního předškolního vzdělávání v matematice, a to: Mají v prostředí mateřské školy děti příležitost k objevování matematických pojmů? Jakou charakteristiku mají didaktické situace, ve kterých se to děje? Disertační práce je organizována podle schématu "teorie - metodologie - empirická zjištění". Předkládaný výzkum je realizován jako kvalitativní, datový materiál představují písemné narativy, zvolené analytické postupy spadají do rámce metody zakotvené teorie. V hlavním výzkumném šetření se podařilo nejen porovnat jednotlivé příběhy učitelek mateřských škol a identifikovat různá jednání učitelek a typy didaktických situací, ale také zjistit podobu matematické didaktické situace v prostředí mateřské školy. Reception of the Niebelung lay and epic poetry of the national revival

2008 - Czech Subject matter of the dissertation thesis Reception of the Niebelung lay (Nibelungenlied) and epic poetry of the national revival resulted from the presumption of ambiguous character of the culture of the first half of the 19th century, which was expressed by Macura in the Sign of birth (1983). We assume, that the Czech literature of the national revival and its tradition was being formed paralelly in relation to another German-language literature either to equal it or even more to emancipate completely. Our aim is to follow the track of the sings of the literature process of the national history frame mythisation on the background of this antagonistic Czech- -German cultural interconnection by the medium of selected source fundaments. Mythisation of the {\clqq}glorious history`` is meant as a manifold process of profiling the idealised literature frame of Czech, or Slavic distant past in comparison to feasible artwork of the German-language culture {--} the Niebelung lay, in general terms, it means in contemporary aesthetic German or Austrian and Czech studies as well as in the illustrative cases, when the questions fade into the poetics of epic texts. Our hypothesis was at first based on the assumption of the minimal context of reception of the Niebelung lay from the end of the 18th century to 10s / 20s of the 19th century in key studies and new edition forewords of this artwork in German literature. On the basis of the above mentioned sources we have tried to denominate the basic sings of reflection corresponding with the crystallization of the German contemporary literature liking and creation of a specific literature pattern for romantic poetics. The second chapter is focused on the ways and means of intermediation of the acceptance of the Niebelung lay by the Viennese and later by the Prague selected periodicals, where by the virtue of such periodicals it could get into privity of the Czech national revival. At the same time we have tried to answer the question, in what means could the potential inspiration enter into the contact with epic poetry of the national revival of the 1st half of the 19th century, more closely in connection with Královédvorský manuscript. In the third interpretation chapter is the relation of both heroic poetry spheres, the German as well as the Czech (or Slavic), specified in the poetics of the selected artworks by Jan Erazim Vocel (Premyslids, Sword and Calix, Labyrinth of Fame). Předmět disertační práce Recepce Písně o Nibelunzích a obrozenské epické básnictví vycházel z předpokladu dvojakého charakteru obrozenské kultury 1. poloviny 19. století, který formuloval Macura ve Znamení zrodu (1983). Vycházíme z faktu, že česká obrozenská literatura a její tradice se formovala paralelně ve vztahu k literatuře jiné, německojazyčné, ať už s cílem se dotyčné kultuře hodnotově vyrovnat, nebo se posléze od ní dokonce emancipovat. Naším cílem je na pozadí česko-německé kulturní vazby vysledovat prostřednictvím vybraného pramenného materiálu příznaky literárního procesu mytizace obrazu národní minulosti. Mytizací {\clqq}slavné minulosti`` konkrétně rozumíme mnohotvárný průběh profilování idealizovaného literárního obrazu českého, popř. slovanského dávnověku ve srovnání s možnou předlohou z okruhu německojazyčné kultury, s Písní o Nibelunzích, jak v obecné rovině, tj. v dobových estetických německých, rakouských či českých studiích a časopiseckých recepcích, tak na ilustrativních případech, kdy problematika prolíná do poetiky epických textů. Naše hypotéza předpokládala nejdříve analýzu minimálního kontextu recepce Písně o Nibelunzích od konce 18. století do 10./20. let 19. století v klíčových studiích a předmluvách k novým edicím tohoto díla v německé literatuře. Na základě zmíněného materiálu se poté pokoušíme pojmenovat základní znaky reflexe korespondující s vyhraňováním dobového německého literárního vkusu a utvářením specifického literárního vzoru pro romantickou poetiku. Druhá kapitola se soustřeďuje na možnosti zprostředkování ohlasu Písně o Nibelunzích vídeňskými a posléze pražskými vybranými periodiky, pomocí nichž se mohl dostat do povědomí českých obrozenců. Souběžně jsme usilovali o zodpovězení otázky, v jakých rovinách mohla eventuální inspirace vstupovat do kontaktu s epickým obrozenským básnictvím 1. poloviny 19. století, úžeji ve vazbě k Rukopisu Královédvorskému. Ve třetí, interpretační kapitole vztah obou hrdinských básnických okruhů, jak germánského, tak českého, resp. slovanského, specifikujeme v poetice vybraných děl Jana Erazima Vocela (Přemyslovci /1839/, Meč a kalich /1843/, Labyrint slávy /1846/). Behavioural evidence for magnetic orientation in rodents

2015 - Czech Magnetoreception in rodents was studied in this Ph.D. thesis. Behavioural evidence for compass magnetic orientation was found in two subterranean African rodents: the social giant mole-rat (Fukomys mechowii) and solitary silvery mole-rat (Heliophobius argenteocinereus) and epigeic rodent bank vole (Clethrionomys glareolus). The study is also focused on the role of magnetic orientation in solving the orientation task in Morris water maze in bank vole. Acting with the Inner Partner as a Way to Develop Teacher's Personal Dispositions

2014 - Czech Dissertation thesis Acting with the Inner Partner as a Way to Develop Teacher's Personal Dispositions focuses on specifics of a psychosomatic discipline called Acting with the Inner Partner, in professional training of future teachers. This discipline represents the pedagogy of experimenting with the phenomenon of self-speech in experimental conditions. The emphasis is on the personality of future teachers, as well as on cultivation of their self-reflection. This should lead to a becoming a professional teacher with an authorial approach and authentic acting. The objective of the dissertation thesis is a deeper understanding of psychosomatic disciplines pedagogy, whereas my very own teaching experience at The Department of Psychology and Pedagogy is essential. Specifics of future teachers' personal preparation in the view of psychosomatic disciplines, represents the basic part of this work. Another part focuses on the experience with Acting with the Inner Partner, at first described by a student and later by an assistant (lecturer) and researcher. Common features of so called psychosomatic condition are discovered. The author also searches the possibility of exporting Acting with the Inner Partner out of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology at South Bohemia University. As the methodology of video recording analysis has not been accomplished yet, the starting points for further research are described. The empirical part focuses on typology documented on students' written self-reflections. The objective is to describe the assistant's experience. The interpretation of the research results shows the need to distinguish between the terms 'written teaching self-reflections' and 'written teaching reflections, commonly described as feedback. Disertační práce s názvem Dialogické jednání jako možnost rozvoje osobnostních dispozic učitele je zaměřena na specifika a možnosti psychosomaticky orientované disciplíny Dialogické jednání s vnitřním partnerem v přípravě budoucích učitelů. Tato disciplína je pedagogikou toho, jak zkoumat v experimentálních podmínkách fenomén samomluvy. Východiskem pro naznačený přístup je zaměření na osobnost studenta učitelství a kultivace jeho sebereflexe cílem je získání profesní role se zachováním autorského přístupu a autenticity v jednání. Cílem disertační práce je hlubší porozumění pedagogice psychosomatických disciplín na půdě Katedry pedagogiky a psychologie, což je pro mou asistentskou zkušenost zásadní. Výchozím bodem práce je hledání východisek pro osobnostně orientovanou přípravu budoucích učitelů a nahlížení na její specifika optikou i jiných, osobnostně orientovaných programů. V další části je disciplína Dialogické jednání popisována ze studentské a posléze asistentské výzkumné pozice a hledány opěrné body pro objevování tzv. psychosomatické kondice. Po zacílení na specifika psychosomatické přípravy budoucích učitelů na Katedře pedagogiky a psychologie Jihočeské univerzity je pozornost věnována otázkám po možnostech exportování Dialogického jednání. Z důvodů dosud neuchopené metodologie analýzy videozáznamů z disciplíny bylo dále nutností popsat základní východiska pro další výzkumnou práci. Empirická část je věnována vytváření typologií ze studentských písemných sebereflexí. Cílem je formulace asistentské zkušenosti. Interpretace výsledků vede k závěrům po nutnosti diferencovat písemné pedagogické sebereflexe od písemných pedagogických reflexí, běžně popisovaných jako zpětná vazba. Importance of education and prevention of child injury in contact with dog

2014 - Czech The dissertation entitled: "Importance of education and prevention of child injury in contact with dog" was written with the purpose to point out not only the current status of children's knowledge and experience in contact with the favourite pet - dog, but primarily to provide a new educational-preventive concept that should help to reduce the risk of incidence of negative experience (injuries, attacks) with dogs in child population. The goal of the dissertation was to improve the children's knowledge on responsible and safe approach to dogs. The theoretical part of the dissertation points out the comprehensive significance of the child-dog relation. The individual sections describe the essential influence of the dog on the mental, emotional and social development of the child, with emphasis on understanding the differences of human-animal communication and the related risks. At the same time, the dissertation outlines also the issue of injuries and conflict situations caused to the child by the dog due to lack of knowledge of basic rules of safe approach to the animal. Last but not least, it emphasizes the significance of primary prevention in the relevant issue. The results of the empirical part of the dissertation pointed out the most frequent causes and mechanisms (basic risk factors in child behaviour) of origination of conflict situation between children and dogs. Based on the alarming results of the first research stage, a new interactive educational-preventive program was created, based on zootherapy - canistherapy method, AAE (Animal Assisted Education) technique, cooperative teaching and situational learning. To assess the efficiency of the preventive activity, a feedback quantitative study was created; it showed improved knowledge on safe approach to dogs in elementary school pupils after having passed the preventive program. The success of the practical form of the preventive program in educational facilities was supported also by creation of educational material - workbook for children. The aid can be used not only as teaching material but particularly as a source of visually processed information and principles for conflict-free child-dog coexistence. The dissertation constitutes a serviceable material not only for lay public at educational level, but also for professional public from the perspective of use of canistherapy and prevention of child injuries. Disertační práce s názvem: "Význam edukace a prevence úrazu u dětí při kontaktu se psem" vznikla se záměrem poukázat nejen na aktuální stav znalostí a zkušeností dětí při kontaktu s nejoblíbenějším zvířecím společníkem - psem, ale především jako nový edukačně - preventivní koncept, který by měl pomoci snížit u dětské populace riziko vzniku negativních zkušeností (úrazů, napadení) se psy. Cílem disertační práce bylo zkvalitnit znalosti dětí o zodpovědném a bezpečném přístupu ke psům. Teoretická část práce poukazuje na komplexní význam vztahu dítěte a psa. Jednotlivé kapitoly popisují zásadní vliv psa na psychický, emocionální i sociální vývoj dítěte s důrazem na pochopení rozdílů humánně animální komunikace a rizik s ní spojených. Práce současně nastiňuje i problematiku úrazu a konfliktních situací způsobených psem u dítěte, díky neznalosti základních pravidel bezpečného přístupu ke zvířeti.V neposlední řadě pak zdůrazňuje význam primární prevence v dané problematice. Výsledky empirické části práce poukázaly na nejčastější rizikové faktory v chování dětí (příčiny a mechanismy), které mohou předcházet vzniku konfliktních situací. Na základě znepokojivých výsledků první etapy výzkumu byl vytvořen nový interaktivní edukačně preventivní program, vycházející ze zooterapie - metody canisterapie, techniky AAE (Animal Assisted Education - "vzdělávání za asistence zvířat"), kooperativní výuky a situačního učení. Pro zhodnocení efektivity preventivní aktivity byla vytvořena i zpětnovazebná kvantitativní studie, která prokázala zlepšení znalostí o bezpečném přístupu ke psům u žáků prvního stupně základních škol po absolvování preventivního programu.Úspěch praktické podoby preventivního programu ve vzdělávacích zařízeních následně podpořili vznik edukačního materiálu - pracovního sešitu pro děti. Pomůcku lze využít nejen jako didaktický materiál, ale především zdroj vizuálně zpracovaných informací a zásad pro bezkonfliktní soužití dítěte a psa. Disertační práce je uchopitelným materiálem nejen pro laickou veřejnost v rovině vzdělávací, ale i odbornou z hlediska praktikování canisterapie a prevence dětských úrazů. 2014 - Czech The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) is a tool that could help improve the coordination between health and social services. This classification will help with communication as a common language in interprofessional rehabilitation team. The research objective of our thesis is to investigate the practical applicability of ICF in health and social services in the field of regulations governing entitlement to "special aids", i.e. Act No. 329/2011 and Decree No. 388/2011, as amended. Mezinárodní klasifikace funkčních schopností, disability a zdraví (MKF) je nástrojem, který může přispět pro zlepšení koordinace mezi zdravotními a sociálními službami. Tato klasifikace zajistí komunikaci v rámci interprofesního rehabilitačního týmu. Cílem výzkumu této práce je zjistit praktickou využitelnost Mezinárodní klasifikace funkčních schopností, disability a zdraví v zdravotně sociálních službách, v oblasti předpisů, které upravují přiznání nároku na tzv. "zvláštní pomůcky", tedy Zákona č. 329/2011 Sb. a Vyhlášky č. 388/2011, ve znění pozdějších předpisů.
