The methodology includes an introductory study dealing in general with the issue of open air museums in the Czech Republic, definition of terminology including definitions of individual terms, characteristics of the starting points for realization of open air museums, process of preparation and realization of open air museums. Metodika obsahuje úvodní studii pojednávající obecně o problematice muzejnictví v přírodě v ČR, vymezení terminologie včetně definování jednotlivých pojmů, charakteristiku východisek pro realizaci muzea v přírodě, procesu přípravy a realizace expozic muzea v přírodě a popisuje odbornou a provozní činnost muzea v přírodě. Obsahuje přehled literatury pro oblast muzeí v přírodě a přílohy.
