Přípustkové věty ve španělštině v kontrastivní perspektivě se zaměřením na didaktické využití

The main topic of this final thesis is the concessional clause in the teaching of ELE for Slovak students. The following work consists of a contrastive analysis of the two languages, Spanish and Slovak, through which the possible difficulties with the concession in Spanish are assumed. The main objective of this work is that the students are able to recognize, interpret and correctly produce the concession in Spanish. In addition, the work explains the functioning of the concessional subordinates in Spanish. Moreover, it proposes eleven activities to practice this phenomenon that were carried out by the Slovak students of level B2 and C1. The didactic proposal includes all the problematic of the concessions putting the focus on the mode, which is, according to the results obtained, where more problems arise. All activities are part of the communicative approach and include games, dialogues and the use of new technologies. The content of the activities aims to familiarize the student with literature, history and Spanish cinema. El tema principal de este Trabajo de fin de Máster son las oraciones concesivas en la enseňanza de ELE para los estudiantes eslovacos. El siguiente trabajo consiste en un análisis contrastivo de los dos idiomas, espaňol y eslovaco, mediante el cual se suponen las posibles dificultades con la concesión en espaňol. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es que los alumnos sean capaces de reconocer, interpretar y producir correctamente la concesión en espaňol. Además, el trabajo explica el funcionamiento de las subordinadas concesivas en espaňol. A continuación, propone once actividades para practicar dicho fenómeno que fueron realizados por los alumnos eslovacos del nivel B2 y C1. La propuesta engloba toda la problemática de las concesivas poniendo el foco en el modo, que es, según los resultados obtenidos, donde más problemas surgen. Todas las actividades forman parte del enfoque comunicativo y abarcan juegos, diálogos y el uso de las nuevas tecnologías. El contenido de las actividades pretende familiarizar al alumno con la literatura, historia y cine espaňol.

The aim of this paper is to analyse the discourse markers used by the first digital native generation in the WhatsApp chat platform, to demonstrate their deviation from the oral to the written plane and their application in the Spanish as foreign language (ELE) classroom. To this end, a presentation of the key theoretical bases and fundamental linguistic concepts for the understanding of this phenomenon will be carried out; subsequently, a corpus of discourse markers obtained from chat conversations carried out by young people between 20 and 29 years old will be presented, studied, and analysed, and a didactic unit for the use and assimilation of these markers in the ELE classroom will be presented, studied and analysed. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar los marcadores discursivos utilizados por la primera generación nativa digital en la plataforma de chat WhatsApp, demostrar su desviación del plano oral al escrito y su aplicación en el aula de ELE. Para ello, se va a llevar a cabo una presentación de las bases teóricas clave y conceptos lingüísticos fundamentales para el entendimiento de este fenómeno; posteriormente, se presentará, estudiará y analizará un corpus de marcadores discursivos obtenidos de conversaciones de chat protagonizadas por jóvenes de entre 20 y 29 a?os y se concluirá con una unidad didáctica para el uso y asimilación de estos en el aula de ELE.

LA PERCEPCIÓN Y PRODUCCIÓN DEL MODO SUBJUNTIVO EN ESTUDIANTES CHECOPARLANTES Y ANGLOPARLANTES DE ELE: ANÁLISIS DE ERRORES

The understanding and production of the Spanish subjunctive mode has always been regarded as a challenge for students and Spanish teachers as a foreign or second language. It is the lack of correspondence of this verbal mode in other languages, along with its versatility and the numerous semantic and pragmatic nuances that the change of verbal mode implies, what leads to problems among both students and teachers. Due to this and many other reasons, the present study aims to analyse the specific problems that two groups of students of Spanish may encounter: anglophone and Czech speakers with an intermediate-high level of language (B2 according to the CEFR). To do so, two similar surveys have been launched aimed at both groups. These surveys include the specific syntactic structures pertinent to this language level, whose modal selection usually causes major difficulties. Likewise, a contrastive analysis will be developed focused on the syntactic structures which are subject of study in Spanish, English and Czech. The purpose of the latter is to extract some specific characteristics of the above-mentioned languages, and thus offer an objective perspective of the problems that students may encounter in the comprehension and production of these syntactic structures. Furthermore, the difficulties that may be drawn from the results of the surveys will be evinced, and some solutions are expected to be presented in response to these problems and in the face of Spanish language teaching as a foreign or second language. La comprensión y producción del modo subjuntivo en espa?ol siempre ha sido percibida como un desafío para estudiantes y profesores de espa?ol como lengua extranjera o segunda lengua. Es la existencia de este modo verbal y su falta de correspondencia en otras lenguas, junto con la versatilidad y los múltiples matices semánticos y pragmáticos que conlleva el cambio modal en espa?ol, lo que genera confusión entre los alumnos e incógnitas sobre cómo abordarlo de la forma más efectiva posible entre docentes y estudiosos del idioma. Por estas y otras razones, el presente estudio pretende analizar los problemas específicos que puedan presentar dos grupos concretos de estudiantes: angloparlantes y checoparlantes con un nivel intermedio-alto de lengua (B2 según el MCER). Para tal fin, se han lanzado dos encuestas con características muy similares destinadas a sendos grupos de estudiantes, que recogen las estructuras sintácticas propias de dicho nivel cuya selección modal suele generar mayores dificultades. Asimismo, se realizará un análisis contrastivo de las estructuras sintácticas objeto de estudio en espa?ol, inglés y checo, para así poder extraer características concretas de dichas lenguas, y ofrecer una perspectiva objetiva de las dificultades que estas puedan entra?ar para los alumnos hablantes nativos de cada una de las lenguas mencionadas. De igual modo, a lo largo de este trabajo se pretenden exponer y evidenciar las dificultades percibidas en la encuesta, así como tratar de trazar posibles soluciones a estas de cara a la ense?anza de espa?ol como lengua extranjera.

The present Master thesis deals with the translation of selected lexical units by tool- supporting machine translation. The aim of this study is, on one hand, to identify the limit of the effectiveness of translations of phraseological units, which meaning is associated with diverse parts of the human body. On the other hand, to determine the efficiency of the system as a supporting learning tool for the study of the Spanish language. The first part, the Theoretical Framework, includes a brief introduction of the history of machine translation as well as the selected translators in the investigation. Additionally, this part encloses the theory of phraseology, the corpus that provides the base for the research, the didactical proposal, and the problematical issues of teaching somatic phraseology to students of the Spanish language. The second part, the Methodology, is focused on the translation of selected phraseology by Bing Microsoft Translate, Babylon, My Memory and Google Translate. At the end of the thesis, the statistics of the validity of the translation are presented. El presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster se dedica a estudiar piezas léxicas centradas en la traducción automática. El objetivo del trabajo es investigar hasta qué punto la traducción automática es eficaz a la hora de traducir las unidades fraseológicas relacionadas con las partes del cuerpo humano, y si la eficacia es suficiente como apoyo para los estudiantes de espa?ol como lengua extranjera. En la primera parte del trabajo, Marco Teórico, se presenta brevemente la historia de la traducción automática y se seleccionan los traductores para la posterior investigación. Esta se dedica a la introducción de la fraseología y a la presentación del corpus, que sirve de base de datos en la siguiente parte del trabajo, y se menciona la didáctica de la fraseología en el aula de ELE. La segunda parte, la aplicación, se centra en la traducción de las unidades fraseológicas de los traductores Bing Microsoft Translator, Babylon, My Memory y Google Translate. Al final del trabajo se elaboran estadísticas de eficacia de cada uno de los traductores mencionados.

Vyjádření repetitivnosti v současné španělštině: prostředky perifrastické a derivační

This thesis is concentrated on expressing repetition by derivative and periphrastic means. The theoretical section begins with the concept of the repetition in Spanish. It is focused on the analysis of prefix re- and periphrastic construction volver a + infinitive. The purpose is to set the rules in terms of its use. In the practical section, fifty verbs are being analysed within the range of the reference corpus of The Spanish Royal Academy. The intention of this thesis is to study particular means of expression and to observe some preference in use and possible semantic changes. We try to organise these verbs into several different semantic groups according to the prefix implication recieved while being added to a root of a verb in a certain context. Předmětem diplomové práce je vyjádření repetitivnosti v současné španělštině a analýza derivačních a perifrastických prostředků. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. V teoretické části se snažíme na základě studia španělské a české odborné literatury vyjádřit pojem repetitivnost a zmapovat prostředky jejího vyjádření. V praktické části se zabýváme analýzou padesáti libovolně vybraných sloves, u kterých zkoumáme frekvenci a sektor užití, na základě statistik vygenerovaných lingvistickým korpusem španělské královské akademie. Snažíme se zmapovat i změny významu dle volby různých lingvistických prostředků. Zkoumáme, jaké jsou možné významy předpony re- a na základě našich zjištění se snažíme rozdělit slovesa do několika různých skupin.

The work presented below is a contrastive analysis of Spanish, Russian, and Czech verbal systems, with an emphasis on past tenses and their usage. The study begins by analyzing the concept of aspectuality, which will be proven to be essential in order to understand how tenses are used in Slavic languages, particularly in Russian and Czech. Following this introduction, the above-mentioned verbal systems are described, with special attention given to past tenses. Subsequently, the work presents two independent practical studies, which try to determine the main difficulties for Russian and Czech students when using past tenses in Spanish. In order to achieve this goal, the study has been carried out among students with different levels and backgrounds. Finally, the data collected in this study is used to design a didactic proposal, which aims to cover the main difficulties for these students regarding the use of past tenses in Spanish. Este trabajo tiene como objeto llevar a cabo un análisis contrastivo de los sistemas verbales espańol, ruso y checo, con especial atención a los tiempos de pasado. Partiendo del concepto de aspectualidad, esencial para comprender el funcionamiento del verbo en las lenguas eslavas en general ?y en ruso y en checo en particular?, realizamos una descripción de los sistemas verbales de las tres lenguas, con énfasis en las formas de pasado. Sobre esta base teórica, presentamos dos estudios independientes llevados a cabo con aprendientes rusohablantes y checohablantes de distinta edad, nivel y trayectoria, con el fin de determinar las principales dificultades que encuentran en el uso de los tiempos de pasado en espańol. Finalmente, a partir del análisis de los resultados, ofrecemos una propuesta didáctica diseńada específicamente para abordar tales dificultades.

The thesis deals with the analysis of advertising texts and audio-visual recordings with a focus on their argumentation and polyphony. The theoretical part characterizes the advertising genre from a linguistic point of view, focusing on its structure and argumentation. In the practical part, six advertising messages are analysed, three of them are static and three are audio-visual. Finally, the contribution and conclusions of the Theses are evaluated and further possibilities for future research are proposed. Práce se zabývá analýzou reklamních textů a audiovizuálních nahrávek se zaměřením na jejich argumentaci a polyfonii. Teoretická část charakterizuje reklamní žánr z lingvistického hlediska, zaměřuje se na jeho strukturu a argumentaci. V praktické části se pak analyzuje šest reklamních sdělení, z čehož jsou tři statické a tři audiovizuální povahy. Na závěr se zhodnotí přínos a průběh práce a jsou navrženy další možnosti budoucího výzkumu.

El papel de la mujer en los manuales de espanol como lengua extranjera: estereotipos lingüísticos

The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to investigate the representation of women in ELE textbooks, specifically in Aventura Nueva 1 and Nuevo Prisma A1. The focus is on the presence of linguistic stereotypes related to the female gender and the visual representation of women. The project begins by describing the main differences between gender and sex. Additionally, it explains the meaning of inclusive language, the generic masculine, the hidden curriculum, and the perception of gender equality in the Common European Framework, the Cervantes Curriculum Plan, and the vision of the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. The text presents an analysis of the presence of sexist language and stereotypes in the instructions, content of exercises, and visual communication of the books mentioned. The obtained data serves as a source of information for the subsequent development of a didactic proposal. The proposal aims to avoid stereotypical representations of women and highlight their position in society. El objetivo de este Trabajo Final de Grado es investigar la representación de las mujeres en los manuales ELE, en particular, en Aventura Nueva 1 y Nuevo Prisma A1. Concretamente, se le da importancia a la presencia de los estereotipos lingüísticos conectados con el género femenino y, además, a la representación visual de las mujeres. En primer lugar, se describen principales cuestiones sobre la diferencia entre el género y el sexo. Asimismo, se explica el significado del lenguaje inclusivo, el masculino genérico, el currículo oculto y la percepción de la igualdad de género en el Marco común europeo, en el Plan curricular de Cervantes y, también, la visión del Ministerio de Educación, Juventud y Deporte checo. A continuación, se presenta un análisis de la presencia del lenguaje sexista y de los estereotipos en las instrucciones, en el contenido de los ejercicios y en la comunicación visual de los libros mencionados. Los datos obtenidos sirven de fuente informativa para la elaboración posterior de una propuesta didáctica, cuyo objetivo es evitar la representación estereotípica de las mujeres y resaltar su posición en la sociedad.

The main topic of this thesis is the translation of the food-related cultural references. The theoretical part is primarily focused on translation techniques and strategies which are usually used for the translation of cultural elements. Furthermore, the other objective of this part is to introduce this topic in the context of the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. Specifically, it deals with the incorporation of a sociocultural component in the Spanish courses and the translation as a pedagogical tool. The theoretical foundations are put into practice in a translation techniques analysis and there is also a didactic proposal designed for Czech students of Translation and Interpreting. Hlavním tématem této diplomové práce je překlad kulturních reálií z oblasti gastronomie. Teoretická část se primárně věnuje překladatelským postupům užívaným při překladu těchto specifických elementů. Dalším cílem této části je představit zmíněnou problematiku v kontextu výuky španělštiny jako cizího jazyka.\\ Tato práce v souladu s teoretickým rámcem obsahuje dva praktické výstupy, analýzu překladatelských technik a didaktický materiál určený pro studenty překladatelství.\\

The present Master thesis deals with the study of somatic idioms which contain the lexeme ruka ("mano") in Czech and Spanish language. The goal of this work is to analyse the metaphors and metonymies that are present in the studied phraseological units and to compare their distribution in the languages that are studied. The work is divided into a theoretical part, whose chapters contain the explanation of crucial concepts in the field of phraseology, the relation between language and cognition, basic principles of cognitive linguistics and a view on teaching of phraseology. The subject of the second, practical, part is the list of the metaphors and metonymies present in studied units and their detailed description. The practical part also contains a contrastive analysis of the results between Czech and Spanish with the focus at the similarities and differences. The work is written in Spanish and contains Czech summary. Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá studiem somatických idiomů obsahujících lexém ruka ("mano") v jazyce českém a španělském. Cílem práce je analyzovat metafory a metonymie, které skrývají zkoumané frazeologické jednotky a porovnat jejich zastoupení ve zkoumaných jazycích. Práce je rozdělená na část teoretickou, jejíž kapitoly obsahují vysvětlení stěžejních pojmů v oblasti frazeologie, pohled na vztah mezi jazykem a kognicí, základní principy kognitivní vědy a pohled na výuku frazeologie. Předmětem druhé části práce, části praktické, je výčet obsažených metafor a metonymií ve frazeologických jednotkách obsahující ruka a jejich detailní popis. Praktická část déle představuje kontrastivní analýzu výsledky mezi češtinou a španělštinou, zaměřující se převážně na podobnosti a rozdíly mezi nimi. Práce je psána ve španělštině a obsahuje závěr v češtině.
