The aim of the work is mastering of S-FPL53 material machining with respect to the optical surface shape accuracy and to minimize the surface microroughness. Cílem práce je zvládnutí opracování materiálu S-FPL53 vzhledem ke kvalitě tvaru optického povrch a minimalizaci mikrodrsnosti povrchu.

This paper brings the information about repair of the achromatic objective lens of diameter 160mm and focal length 2500mm produced by the Development Optical Workshop of the ČSAV in Turnov. The refractor with this dublet has become the main telescope of a local astronomical observatory. The positive lens contained impurities – schlieren and it was necessary to produce a new lens and change it. Tento referát přináší informace o opravě achromatického objektivu o průměru 160 mm a ohniskové vzdálenosti 2500 mm, vyrobeného v 70. letech ve Vývojové optické dílně ČSAV v Turnově. Refraktor s tímto dubletem se stal hlavním přístrojem místní hvězdárny. Spojka tohoto objektivu obsahovala šlíry a bylo ji nutné vyrobit novou

This paper analyses the achromatic dublets with an entrance lens of the flint glass. The objective lens of this construction were devised by German physician Carl August Steinheil in the half of the 19 th century. Several pieces of these dublets were manufactured for astronomical purposes in our workshop in the past. We discuse the mathematical evaluation and the method of manufacture of the glued Steinheil objective with plane exit surface. Tento referát se zabývá achromatickými dublety se vstupním členem z flintového skla. Optické řešení těchto objektivů navrhl německý fyzik Carl August Steinheil v polovině 19. století. V nedávné minulosti bylo několik těchto dubletů vyrobeno pro astronomické účely v naší dílně. V referátu popisujeme výpočet a technologický postup výroby tmeleného Steinheilova objektivu s rovinnou výstupní plochou.

Attaining surface homogeneity in the deposition of complex layer systems

We report on a procedure of optimization of a thin-film deposition process with respect to the best attainable layer homogeneity on a large deposited surface. By using a deposition mask and rotation of the deposition calotte, we reach the homogeneity of ± 0.5% for samples with the diameter up to 5 cm. Furthermore, we investigate the effect of substrate tilt and of a deposition on a curved lens surface with respect to homogeneity of the deposited layer. V této zprávě popisujeme postup optimalizace depozice interferenčního filtru s cílem dosáhnout homogenní tloušťky vrstvy na co největším rozsahu deponované plochy. Za použití depoziční masky a rotace depoziční kaloty dosahujeme homogenity ± 0.5% pro vzorky do průměru 5 cm. Zkoumáme poté vliv naklonění substrátu a depozici na zakřivený povrch čočky na homogenitu deponované vrstvy.

The Simulation of Residual Optical Aberrations of the Objective Lens of Merz 124/1477

This objective lens was renoved in the Institute of Plasma Physics, v.v.i. Center Toptec in Turnov. During the process we got a possibility to measure the objective lens on the optical bench and to evaluate its residual optical aberrations. The objective lens was manufactured in 1860-1870 years Tento objektiv byl na Ústavu fyziky plazmatu,v.v.i., Centru Toptec v Turnově restaurován. Během tohoto procesu jsme získali možnost objektiv na optické lavici přeměřit a vyčíslit jeho zbytkové optické vady. Objektiv byl vyroben kolem roku 1860-1870.

In this paper we publish the optical parameters of several historic telescopes, which we have found in scientific literature or web pages. Data were inputed into the optical program ZEMAX, which evaluated their residual aberrations. V tomto referátu publikujeme optické parametry několika historických dalekohledů, které jsme v literatuře a na webových stránkách získali. Data byla vložena do optického programu ZEMAX, v němž byly vyčísleny jejich zbytkové vady.

PHASE STABILITY IN MILLED Y2O3 AND W-Y2O3.

Properties of milling-induced high-pressure B phase in Y2O3 and W-Y2O3 powders were studied by differential thermal analysis and X-Ray diffraction. It was found that phase stability strongly depends on the heating rate and holding time. Kinetika fázových transformací B -> C jak v samotném Y2O3 tak i ve slitině W-xY2O3 je velmi důležitá vzhledem k použití těchto materiálů ve vysokoteplotních aplikacích. Chování vysokotlaké fáze B práškového Y2O3 indukované mletím a vlastnosti kompozitu W-Y2O3 byly studovány pomocí diferenční termální analýzy a rentgenové difrakce. Bylo zjištěno, že fázová stabilita je výrazně závislá na rychlosti ohřevu a na době setrvání na dané teplotě.

V této práci byly zkoumány jednak možnosti klasického leštění nikl-fosforové (NiP) vrstvy pomocí diamantových leštících suspenzí, dále pomocí Ceroxu jakožto standartního optického leštiva a v neposlední řadě možnosti využití CNC subaperturního leštění pro dosažení optickými aplikacemi vyžadované mikrodrsnosti resp. pro potlačení periodických povrchových struktur vznikajících při procesech opracování pomocí technologie Single Point Diamond Turning.
