Two magnetic structuroscopic methods, applicable for Fe-based ferromagnetic alloysare discussed and presented on examples. The method of Magnetic Adaptive Testing and the method of magnetic surface spot are show on samples of steel and cast iron in practice. Jsou diskutovány a na příkladech prezentovány dvě magnetické strukturoskopické metody, které jsou použitelné pro feromagnetické slitiny na bázi železa. Metoda Magnetického adaptivního testování a metoda magnetické skvrny jsou předvedeny v praxi na vzorcích oceli a litiny.

Liquid phase epitaxy

Extended lecture collects mojority aspect of the "Liquid Phase Epitaxy", LPE, with special attention to the semiconductors growth. Methods of growth modifications enabling to increase growth reproduction and deposition efficiency are included. Also dislocations generation by different mechanisms is discussed in the article. Poměrně rozsáhlá přednáška shrnuje základní aspekty přípravy epitaxních vrstev z kapalné fáze (LPE), s důrazem ne deposici polovodičů. Jsou uvedeny způsoby dosažení maximální reprodukovatelnosti růstového procesu a účinnosti deposice. Důraz je rovněž kladen na rozbor mechanizmů tvorby dislokací v epitaxních vrstvách.

Changes of surface potential and photo-current under illumination indicate exciton splitting at the polypyrrole-diamond interface and transport of holes to diamond. Změny povrchového napětí a fotoproudu při osvětlení poukazují na možné štěpení excitonů na rozhraní mezi diamantem a polypyrrolem a následný přenos děr do diamantu.

A curve template for I-V characteristics of the solar cells

The contribution describes a computer program for manual fitting a theoretical dependence of the current flowing through a solar cell on the voltage in a way corresponding to flexible curve templates. The template provides handles "attached" to the curve for intuitive and independent manipulation of the parameters. This makes it possible to judge the sensitivity of the fit to the individual parameters. Příspěvek popisuje pomůcku pro prokládání teoretické závislosti proudu slunečním článkem na napětí, pracovně zvanou "křivítko" pro volt-ampérové charakteristiky. Křivítko dovoluje manipulaci jednotlivými parametry teoretické křivku tak, aby bylo zřejmé, jak je shoda s naměřenými daty citlivá na vliv jednotlivých parametrů.

Magnetic methods application (coercitive force measurement, magnetic induction, MAT, magnetic spot method) investigation of steel structure in the world and Czech Republic. New knowledge of magnetic spot method for application on steels. Principle of magnetic spot method. Results comparison obtained on machined, non-heat-treated, heat-treated and corroded surface. Determination of boundary application conditions. Particular results at appropriation of hardness checking of hardened and tempered sheets and forgings at hardening shop. Recommendation. Použití magnetických metod (měření koercitivní síly, magnetické indukce, MAT, metoda magnetické skvrny) zkoumání struktury ocelí ve světě a České republice. Nové poznatky metody magnetické skvrny pro využití na ocelích. Princip metody magnetické skvrny. Porovnání výsledků na površích obrobených, přírodních, po tepelném zpracování, korodovaných. Stanovení mezních podmínek použitelnosti. Konkrétní výsledky při osvojení kontroly tvrdosti zušlechtěných plechů a výkovků v kalírně. Doporučení.
