Continuous measurement of chemical composition of atmospheric aerosols

New continuous collector of atmospheric aerosols using deionized water is described.Collector allows on-line analysis of chemical composition in water soluble aerosol components in real time with time resolution of a few minutes without interferences of gaseous pollutants. Je popsán nový kontinuální kolektor atmosférických aerosolů využitím deionizované vody. Kolektor umožňuje analyzovat on-line chemické složení ve vodě rozpustných aerosolových složek v reálném čase s časovým rozlišením několika minut bez interferencí plynných polutantů.

Kolektor umožňuje analyzovat on-line chemické složení ve vodě rozpustných aerosolových složek v reálném čase s časovým rozlišením několika minut bez interferencí plynných polutantů.

Annular diffusion denuder for sampling of carbonaceous aerosols on quartz filter without interferences of gaseous organic pollutants and atmospheric oxidants is described. Exposed filters are analysed off-line for content of orgnic and elementar carbon in collected aerosols. Je popsán anulární difusní denuder umožňující vzorkování uhlíkatých aerosolů na křemenný filtr bez interferencí plynných organických polutantů a atmosferických oxidantů.Exponované filtry jsou analyzovány off-line na obsah organického a elementárního uhlíku v zachycených aerosolech.

Methods of passive sampling of persistant organic pollutants in the environment are reviewed, as well as the most often used types of passive sampler: devices for solid phase microextraction (SPME), stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE), polymer-coated glass (POG), polyurethan air sampler (PUF), passive air sampler with sorbent, ceramic dosimeter, and semipermeable membrane devices (SPMDs). Práce je přehledem metod pasivního vzorkování persistentních organických polutantů v životním prostředí a nejčastěji používaných typů pasivních vzorkovačů: zařízení pro mikroextrakci tuhou fází (SPME), sorpce/extrakce na míchadlo (SBSE), vzorkovače ovzduší typu POG, vzorkovače ovzduší s polyuretanem (PUF sampler), pasivní vzorkovač ovzduší se sorbentem, keramický dozimetr a vzorkovače s polopropustnou menbránou (SPMDs).

The principle of supecritical fluid chromatography, current state and instrumentation possibilities, hyphenation with MS or MALDI-TOF are described. The examples of separation are presented, and the possibility of using SFC for obtaining physico-chemical data are discussed. Je popsán princip superkritické fluidní chromatografie, současný stav a možnosti instrumentace, spojení s MS nebo MALDI-TOF, uvedeny příklady separací a diskutována možnost použití SFC k získání fyzikálně chemických dat.

Optimization of sample injection in capillary electrochromatography

The sample injection is an important part of the electrochromatographic (CEC) analysis.. This work focuses on injection optimization with use of the splitter working in the heart-cut regime. Mechanisms of spontaneous and electrokinetic injection were studied. Good repeateability of peak heights, peak areas and retention times was reached for standard, gradient and preconcentration CEC separations. Dávkování vzorku je důležitým krokem v elektrochromatografické (CEC) analýze. Tato práce je zaměřena na optimalizaci dávkování s využitím splitru pracujícího v „heart-cut“ režimu. Byly studovány mechanismy spontánního a elektrokinetického dávkování. Byly dosaženy dobré hodnoty opakovatelnosti výšek a ploch píků a retenčních časů pro CEC separace za standardních, gradientových a předkoncentračních podmínek.

V této práci byl zkoumán vliv polutantů, které se obvykle nacházejí ve znečištěném vzduchu, na chemiluminiscenční stanovení kyseliny dusité s prekoncentrací v cylindrickém difúzním denuderu se stékajícím filmem kapaliny
