Modeling of Partial Oxidation of Biomass Oil Suspension

2011 - Czech Mathematical modeling of complex chemical equilibrium during biowaste oil suspension gasification in pilot plant reactor was aimed in the study. Simulation results were compared with pilot plant experiments using rape meal suspension in high boiling hydrocarbons. Application for reactor design and process scale up could be realistic. Cílem práce bylo matematické modelování variant složité chemické rovnováhy při zplyňování olejové suspenze bioodpadu v poloprovozním reaktoru. Výsledky simulací byly porovnány s poloprovozními experimenty zplyňování suspenze řepkového šrotu ve výševroucí frakci uhlovodíků tak, aby byly použitelné pro návrh a zvětšování měřítka reaktoru pro takový proces. 2011 - Czech Paper was focussed to mathematical modelling of complex chemical equilibrium playing role during gassification of biomass in oil suspension in pilot plant reactor. Simulation results were compared with pilot plant experiments with rape meal suspension in high boiling hydrocarbon fiction. Data are usefull for process design and reactor scale-up. Cílem práce bylo matematické modelování variant složité chemické rovnováhy při zplyňování olejové suspenze bioodpadu v poloprovozním reaktoru. Výsledky simulací byly porovnány s poloprovozními experimenty zplyňování suspenze řepkového šrotu ve výševroucí frakci uhlovodíků tak, aby byly použitelné pro návrh a zvětšování měřítka reaktoru pro takový proces. Structured Heterogeneous Catalysts for Total Oxidation of Organic Compounds

2011 - Czech The report contains summary of preparation of structured catalytic systems, ceramic and metallic monoliths or ceramic foams, designated for total oxidation of volatile organic compounds. Various methods of depositing active phase on support are described. Also washcoating in order to obtain porous oxide layer, which is usually applied prior to active phase deposition, is included. Sol-gel method, suspension method or their combination are among the most frequent coating methods. Zpráva podává přehled přípravy katalyzátorů na strukturovaných nosičích, keramických a kových monolitech nebo keramických pěnách, určených pro úplnou oxidaci těkavých organických látek. Jsou zde popsány různé techniky nanášení aktivní fáze na povrch nosiče. Zároveň je zde popsáno nanášení mezivrstvy tvořené porézním oxidem, které tomuto kroku často předchází. Mezi nejčastější metody nanášení patří sol-gel metoda, nanášení ze suspenze nebo jejich kombinace. CFD Simulation of Laboratory Scale Airlift Reactor Hydrodynamics

2011 - Czech The goal of this work was to test the simulation sensitivity to the prescribed bubble terminal velocity. Simulations were done for three different airlfit configurations (different lenght and diameter of riser tube) for gas superficial velocities 1-7,5cm/s. Cílem toho příspěvku bylo zjistit, jak silně závisí výsledky simulací na výsledné terminální rychlosti bublin. Simulace byly provedeny pro tři různé konfigurace airliftu (různá délka a průměr riseru) pro mimovrstvové rychlosti plynu (vzhledem k průřezu riseru) 1 – 7.5 cm/s. 2011 - Czech Our contribution exhibits experimental results of the structure of calcite deposit that origins by a collective sedimentation of the mixture of variable large particles in liquid. The work is aimed to find for which conditions, concerned of particle dispersity, raises the group of special, large cavities (stromatacta). Tento příspěvek ukazuje experimentální výsledky na struktuře vápencového depositu vzniklého sedimentací směsi různě velikých částic v kapalině. Cílem bylo najít za jakých podmínek týkajících se částicové polydisperzity vznikají soubory dutin.
