Lifestyle changes in immigrants and asylum seekers in the Czech republic South Bohemia

2009 - Czech Migration as a social process is a response to more or less complex economic, environmental, social and cultural conditions of human existence. Migration reasons have changed through history. With regard to gradual population aging, migration to the Czech Republic in the following years is not only probable, this is inevitable. Lifestyle is a major factor determinating health status and quality of life. Lifestyle is one of health determinants we can influence. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into 9 chapters. The compilation is based on monograpfic publications, professional journals and electronic sources usage. The chapters of the thesis deal with the issue of immigrants and asylum seekers, migration in the Czech Republic and migration in general, they give an account of minorities living in the Czech Republic, describe their integration, outline the problems associated with emigration and the impact of emigration on psychological and health status of an individual The asylum procedure and lifestyle factors are also mentioned. The empirical part is focused on the research of lifestyle of immigrants and asylum seekers in the Czech Republic and in their countries of origin. The objective of the thesis is to compare lifestyles of immigrants and asylum seekers in the Czech Republic and in their countries of origin. The research took place in the town of České Budějovice, the subregion of the South Bohemian region. Questionnaire method was used to collect the research data. The questionnaire was anonymous and contained 25 questions. The introductory questions were focused on respondents´ identification data, through other questions lifestyle factors and health status were investigated. Total 100 questionnaires were distributed to the institutions providing assistance to immigrants and asylum seekers. 55 questionnaires were filled in and returned, the return rate was 55%. The objective of the thesis was accomplished, the lifestyle of immigrants and asylum seekers in the Czech Republic in the South Bohemian region was compared to that in their countries of origin. In my opinion it is very important to focus on foreigners integration into the Czech society, because integration does not only mean for foreigners to get rid of their habits, but may also enrich our society. People come to our country in search of better living conditions and want to start a new life here. Therefore it should be part of state policy to ensure equal access and equal opportunities for immigrants. I suppose I could be beneficial to make foreigners familiar with the current situation in the Czech Republic and to draw their attention to difficulties they may encounter while seeking a better life. Migrace jako sociální proces je odpovědí na více či méně komplexní ekonomické, ekologické, sociální a kulturní podmínky existence člověka. Během dějin se důvody pro migraci lidstva měnily. Vzhledem k prognóze postupného stárnutí obyvatelstva je migrace do České republiky v nadcházejících letech nejen pravděpodobná, ale také nezbytná. Životní styl je významná determinanta určující zdravotní stav a také kvalitu života. Životní styl se řadí mezi determinanty zdraví, které jsou ovlivnitelné. Teoretická část bakalářské práce je rozdělena do 9 kapitol, pro jejíž zpracování bylo využito monografických publikací, odborných časopisů a elektronických zdrojů. Každá kapitola přibližuje problematiku imigrantů a azylantů, migraci na území České republiky a migraci obecně, popisuje menšiny vyskytující se na území České republiky, přibližuje oblast integrace, nastiňuje problémy spojené s emigrací a její vliv na psychický a tedy i zdravotní stav jedince. Popisuje azylovou proceduru a faktory životního stylu. Empirická část je zaměřena na výzkum životního stylu u imigrantů a azylantů v České republice a v zemi jejich původu. Cílem bakalářské práce je porovnat životní styl imigrantů a azylantů v České republice a v zemi jejich původu. Místem ve kterém výzkum probíhal, byly České Budějovice, které jsou spádovou oblastí pro celý Jihočeský kraj. Ke sběru dat byla využita metoda dotazníku. Dotazník byl anonymní a obsahoval 25 otázek. Úvodní otázky byly orientované na identifikační údaje respondentů, dále byly zkoumány faktory životního stylu a zdravotní stav. Celkem bylo rozdáno 100 dotazníků do institucí zabývajících se pomoci uprchlíkům a migrantům. Navráceno jich bylo 55, což činí 55% návratnost. Cíl práce byl naplněn, byl porovnán životní styl imigrantů a azylantů v České republice v Jihočeském kraji a v zemi jejich původu. Myslím si, že je velice důležité se zaměřit právě na oblast integrace cizinců do české společnosti, vždyť integrace neznamená pouze zbavit se svých zvyků, ale může velmi obohatit naši společnost. Lidé přicházejí do ČR hledat lepší životní podmínky a chtějí zde začít nový život. Proto by mělo být součástí státní politiky zajišťovat imigrantům rovný přístup a rovné příležitosti. Domnívám se, že by bylo přínosné přiblížit cizincům současnou situaci v České republice a upozornit je na úskalí, které je mohou na cestě za lepším životem potkat. 2017 - Czech The aim of the following thesis is to introduce the evolution of the medieval castle architecture in Europe, primarily in Bohemia. The main attention is focused on the South Bohemian district, the powerful noble stock Vítkovci and some of their residence castles. This thesis brings the basic overwiev of the family history and the construction development. The special emphasis is on an archaeological researches and their contribution to the observation of the construction development by the selected ancient monuments. Cílem předkládané bakalářské práce je seznámit čtenáře s vývojem hradní architektury v Evropě, a především v Čechách. Hlavní pozornost je věnována jihočeskému regionu, mocnému rodu Vítkovců a jeho vybraným sídelním hradům. Práce podává přehled o historii jednotlivých rodin a sleduje stavební vývoj vybraných rodových rezidencí. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na archeologické výzkumy daných lokalit a jejich přispění k pochopení stavebního vývoje sledovaných objektů. Occurrence of occupational disease in the South Bohemian region

2010 - Czech When evaluating effects of work on human health it should be remembered that health is a result of mutual effects of several factors. The factors include the general environment and the working environment, genetic factors and lifestyle. Further, the evaluation of a worker´s health condition should take into account his/her exposure outside work. I have selected the topic of the thesis: ``Occurrence of occupational disease in the South Bohemian region `` because I find occupational hygiene the most interesting sphere in the hygienic sector. The objective of my work was to map occupational diseases in the South Bohemian region and to determine the situation in occupational diseases in a selected period. The selected period was 2004 {--} 2008. At the beginning of the thesis I set two hypotheses. The first hypothesis stated that the number of occupational diseases in the South Bohemian region in 2004-2008 was not statistically significantly different from the national average. To test the hypothesis I used a statistical survey using the Student t-test. The second hypothesis stated that occupational diseases occurred most frequently in persons working in the sector of health and social care and veterinary activities. In the case of the first hypothesis the results have confirmed that the number of occupational diseases in the South Bohemian region does not exceed the national average, except in 2007, when the number of occupational diseases was different from the national average. Also the second hypothesis was confirmed (except in 2008, when the number of occupational diseases in the sector of metal structure manufacturing and metal-working products was slightly higher than in the sector of health and social care and veterinary activities). This thesis seeks to evaluate the trends of occurrence of occupational diseases, which may be used for development of preventive measures in this field, particularly by employers and occupational medicine professionals. Při posuzování vlivu práce na zdraví je třeba pamatovat na to, že zdraví je výsledkem vzájemného působení faktorů životního a pracovního prostředí, genetických faktorů a životního stylu. Při hodnocení zdravotního stavu pracovníka je nutno zohlednit i jeho mimopracovní zátěž. Téma mé diplomové práce {\clq}qVýskyt profesionálních onemocnění v Jihočeském kraji`` jsem si zvolila, neboť mě z hygienických oborů nejvíce oslovila právě hygiena práce. Cílem práce je zmapovat profesionální onemocnění v Jihočeském kraji a zjistit aktuální stav profesionálních onemocnění za vybrané období. Vybraným obdobím jsou roky 2004 {--} 2008. Hypotézy se týkají porovnání profesionálních onemocnění v Jihočeském kraji vůči celorepublikovému průměru a odvětví ekonomické činnosti zdravotní a sociální péče a veterinární činnosti. V práci použiji statistické vyhodnocení pomocí Studentova t-testu, grafy a tabulky. Výsledky potvrdily, že počet profesionálních onemocnění v Jihočeské kraji, nepřevyšuje celorepublikový průměr, vyjma roku 2007, a odvětví ekonomické činnosti zdravotní a sociální péče a veterinární činnosti, jsou jednou z nejčastějších příčin profesionálních onemocnění. Touto diplomovou prací bych chtěla vyhodnotit trendy výskytu profesionálních chorob, které mohou sloužit k preventivním opatřením v této problematice především pro zaměstnavatele a odborníky pracovního lékařství. The capacity producing companies in the region of South Bohemia

2008 - Czech This diploma work evaluates current modern methods of measurement and directing of efficiency of the firm by the help of diagnostic detectors. It defines the function of the bankruptcy and site index models in the system of higher form of financial analysis. It demonstrates the using of these diagnostic detectors in the comparative analysis and the production of sectoral ratings. It shows the survey of the most important producing companies in the region of South Bohemia, compares them in each section the companies come under and describes their specifics. It compares companies of the producing section and qualifies the level of their efficiency according to my own methodology. The aim of this diploma work is to determinate the success of the companies in each section in accordance with the elicited information. This dimploma work also deals with the question if some of the companies might be in danger of bankruptcy or other financial problems and what value the companies created during the last monitoring period. Tato diplomová práce hodnotí současné moderní metody měření a řízení výkonnosti firmy pomocí diagnostických indikátorů. Vymezuje úlohu bankrotních a bonitních modelů v systému vyšší formy finanční analýzy. Demonstruje využití těchto diagnostických indikátorů při komparativní analýze a tvorbě oborových rankingů. Uvádí přehled nejvýznamnějších výrobních podniků v Jihočeském kraji, které porovnává v rámci jednotlivých odvětví do kterých dané podniky spadají a popisuje jejich specifika. Na základě vlastní metodiky porovnává podniky výrobního sektoru a posuzuje úroveň jejich výkonnosti. Cílem je na základě zjištěných údajů stanovit jak si podnik vede v rámci daného odvětví. Dále se tato práce zabývá otázkou zda některému z analyzovaných podniku nehrozí bankrot či jiné finanční problémy a jakou hodnotu vytvořili podniky za poslední sledované období. Právě se Vám do ruky dostala bakalářská práce, která se zabývá dosud ne příliš zkoumanou problematikou {--} interakcí finančního trhu a makroekonomických ukazatelů české ekonomiky a pak především ekonomiky Jihočeského kraje. Práce sleduje vývoj vybraných prvků finančního trhu a makroekonomické ukazatele jihočeské ekonomiky, přičemž důraz je kladen na popsání problematiky, samotné statistické šetření, interpretaci výsledků. Hlavním cílem práce je získané výsledky využít pro predikci vývoje ekonomiky Jihočeského kraje s možností aplikovat výsledky dále na vývoj jednotlivých segmentů regionální ekonomiky. Sekundárním cílem je porovnat výsledky statistických šetření vybraných makroekonomických ukazatelů na národní a regionální úrovni. Role of Social Worker in South-Bohemian Hospitals

2021 - Czech This thesis focuses on the role of social workers in South-Bohemian hospitals - their duties, their role as part of the multidisciplinary team caring for a patient, how their profession is viewed by their work colleagues, and how social workers perceive their role within the hospital. The main focus is on various dilemmas and the possible scope of social work in the hospital. The thesis is composed of two main parts - the theoretical part and the practical one. The theoretical part discusses the terms "social worker" and "medical social worker", how social workers operate within the hospital, and what the legislative basis for their work is. The theoretical part also takes a closer look at the dilemmas of social work that social workers can encounter in their job, and describes the patient target groups that social workers most often work with .In the practical part, the research of three areas of inquiry has been made, revealing that the most important prerequisites of a social worker in a hospital are social and medical education, a clearly defined role within the team taking care of the patient, and a good knowledge of social services network, whose assistance is offered to the patients by the social worker as part of the social help during their stay in the hospital. The biggest obstacle in a social worker's job is the large volume of administrative work, when the work with patients itself is done at the expense of the administrative workload. The appropriate solution seems to be an increase in the number of social workers in the hospital, whose job it is to take some load off the busy medical staff. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jaká je role sociálního pracovníka v jihočeských nemocnicích, jaká je jeho pracovní náplň, jak funguje spolupráce v multidisciplinárním týmu při péči o pacienta, jak je nahlíženo na jeho profesi v rámci pracovního kolektivu a jak vnímá sociální pracovník svou roli v nemocnici. Akcent byl zaměřen dilemata a možnosti sociální práce v nemocnici. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části - teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretický diskurz byl věnován pojmům sociální pracovník a zdravotně sociální pracovník, jakou roli zastává sociální pracovník v rámci nemocnice a jaká je jeho legislativní opora. Stejně tak se teoretická práce zabývala dilematy sociální práce, se kterými se může sociální pracovník potkat při výkonu svého zaměstnání a zároveň byly popsány cílové skupiny pacientů, se kterými se sociální pracovník setkává v nemocnici nejčastěji. V praktické části práce je popsán výzkum věnovaný třem okruhům zkoumaných otázek, z nichž vyplynulo, že pro práci sociálního pracovníka v nemocnici je důležité sociálně zdravotní vzdělání, stejně tak vytyčené postavení v týmu pečujícího o pacienta a dobrá znalost sítě sociálních služeb, jež jsou nabízeny pacientům v rámci sociální pomoci během hospitalizace. Největším úskalím sociálního pracovníka v nemocnici je předimenzovanost administrativní činnosti, kdy samotnou práci s pacienty limituje administrativní zátěž. Jako vhodné se jeví navýšení počtu sociálních pracovníků v nemocnici, kteří mají odlehčit vytíženému zdravotnímu personálu.
