2021 - německý This thesis deals with women's images in the chosen novels by the Austrian writer Elfriede Jelinek. The focus lies on exploring women's sexuality and identities in Die Klavierspielerin (The Piano Teacher), Lust (Lust) and Die Liebhaberinnen (Women as Lovers). As for the methodology, I draw on feminist literary criticism and gender studies, primarily Elaine Showalter's and Judith Butler's theories. The development of female protagonists is comprehended as formed through patriarchy - it will be analyzed, and the individual results will be compared in order to get to the general issue about depiction of patriarchy and toxic masculinity in Jelinek's work. Zaměřuje se na vývoj ženské sexuality a identity v románech Die Klavierspielerin (Pianistka), Lust (Slast) a Die Liebhaberinnen (Milovnice). Analýza se opírá především o feministické a genderové teorie Elaine Showalter a Judith Butler. Vývoj protagonistek je chápan jako formovaný patriarchální kulturou, na základě čehož budou postavy analyzovány a následně porovnány. Práce si klade za cíl zjistit, jak jsou v dílech Jelinek obecně zobrazeny patriarchát a toxická maskulinita. 2021 - německý (in English) The thesis deals with literary work by Till Lindemann. Besides writing lyrics for the band the frontman of the East German band Rammstein also writes poems, which were published in three volumes. The author attempts to make her interpretation and to show the themes, that Lindemann has chosen and their connection to German literature and real events. These topics are to be analyzed individually in chapters and subchapters as well as the sources of Lindemann's inspiration and reception his work. The thesis works with the volumes of Lindeman's poetry and is completed with the help of secondary literature. (česky) Bakalářská práce se zabývá literární tvorbou Tilla Lindemanna. Frontman a autor textů východoněmecké skupiny Rammstein, se mimo jiné věnuje i psaní básní, které vyšly již ve třech svazcích. Cílem této práce je analyzovat tyto texty a básně, pokusit je interpretovat a zároveň přiblížit některá témata, kterým se Till Lindemann věnuje a ukázat propojení jeho tvorby s německou literaturou a skutečnými událostmi. V jednotlivých kapitolách a podkapitolách jsou jednotlivá témata rozebírána, jakožto i zdroje Lindemannovy inspirace a recepce jeho děl veřejností. Autorka bude vycházet ze tří básnických sbírek Tilla Lindemanna a zároveň bude doplněna sekundární literaturou. 2021 - německý The present work intends to offer an interpretation key to Eugen Fink's philosophy from the leitmotiv of the negative. The approach taken here considers his philosophical project from a perspective of autonomy and originality regarding Fink's contemporary philosophies - Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger. The aim is to provide a counterpoint to the still predominant tendency of considering Fink mainly as an interpret of both Husserl and Heidegger. In the course of the work it becomes clear that the direct dialogue with other philosophies - for instance as Nietzsche's, Kant's and above all Hegel's philosophy - is the methodological procedure through which he raises his own philosophy. The negative accounts for a particular concept that not only traverses the two moments of Fink's philosophy, but in which the metaphysical transformation of his later thinking is most manifest. In order to distinguish these moments in Fink's work, we refer here on the one hand to a meontic matrix of thought, the one that prevailed during the period of assistance to Husserl, and on the other hand to a cosmological matrix of thought, which was developed as such only after Husserl's death. Zusammenfassung Die vorliegende Arbeit beabsichtigt einen Leseschlüssel zur Philosophie Eugen Finks aus dem Leitfaden des Negativen anzubieten. Die hier vertretene Auffassung geht von einer Beachtung seines philosophischen Projekts aus der Perspektive einer Autonomie und Originalität gegenüber Finks zeitgenössischen Philosophien - Edmund Husserl und Martin Heidegger. Das Ziel ist es, einen Kontrapunkt zu der immer noch vorherrschenden Tendenz, Finks hauptsächlich als Interpret sowohl von Husserl, als auch von Heidegger, in Betracht zu nehmen. Im Laufe der Arbeit wird deutlich, dass der direkte Dialog mit anderen Philosophien - u.a. mit Nietzsches, Kants und vor allem mit Hegels Philosophien - das methodische Verfahren des Aufbaus seines eigenen Denkens darstellt. Das Negative ist wiederum ein besonderer Begriff, der nicht nur die beiden Momente von Finks Philosophie durchquert, sondern in dem die metaphysische Umgestaltung seines späteren Denkens, die jene beide Momente unterscheidet, am offensichtlichsten ist. Um diese zwei Momente in Finks Werk zu bezeichnen, verweisen wir hier auf eine meontische, den Assistentenjahren bei Husserl betreffende Denkmatrix einerseits, und andererseits auf eine kosmologische Denkmatrix, die sich als solche nach Husserls Tod entwickelte. Gender Difference from the Perspective of Helmuth Plessner's Philosophical Anthropology, gender difference in the two-gender model is examined from the perspective of philosophical anthropology. For this purpose, three social constructivist theories of gender difference are brought into conversation with each other under the prism of lived body-body-person. In this way, the work aims to catch a glimpse of the gendered human being in all the spheres that open up their world. 2021 - německý Presented Master's thesis deals with euthanasia in the novel "Ikarien" by German author Uwe Timm. The thesis highlights development of its main character Alfred Ploetz, an originator of so-called racial hygiene (German variation of eugenics). Ploetz supported the idea of performing euthanasia on severely disabled people. This was applied at massive scale in Nazi Germany from 1939 to 1945. One of the goals of this thesis is to analyze the connection between utopian notions about the creation of a new man, eugenics and euthanasia performed by Nazis, which is reflected in the life of Alfred Ploetz. Furthermore, the thesis aims to give analysis of literary means used for capturing subject matter and compare factual and fictional parts of this historical novel. KEYWORDS Uwe Timm, euthanasia, racial hygiene, eugenics, utopia, science, Alfred Ploetz Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou eutanazie v románu "Ikarien" německého spisovatele Uwe Timma se zvláštním zřetelem na vývoj hlavní postavy Alfreda Ploetze, zakladatele takzvané rasové hygieny (německé obdoby eugeniky), který podporoval zavedení eutanazie pro těžce postižené osoby, jež byla poté aplikována na širším okruhu lidí v masovém měřítku v letech 1939-1945 v nacistickém Německu. Jedním z cílů této práce je analýza souvislostí mezi utopickými představami o vytvoření nového člověka, eugenikou a nacisty praktikovanou eutanazií, které se odrážejí i v životě Alfreda Ploetze. Důraz je kladen také na rozbor literárních prostředků použitých pro zachycení daného tématu a na posouzení poměru mezi faktickou a fiktivní částí tohoto historického románu. 2021 - německý The reception of the german dialect of the gregorian chant between 1900 an aprox. 1950 (Abstract) In today's musicology, the germanic chant dialect («germanischer Choraldialekt») ist nearly unimportant. Especially in the first half of the 20th century, it was very different. In particular, the invention of the term by Peter Wagner of Fribourg in 1925 promoted the perception of a melodic phenomenon, which can be found equally in many sources of plain chant in central europe. The oldest witnesses of the phenomenon are adiastematic sources, the youngest ones were restored, restituted or newly composed in the first half of the 20th century. So this tradition is existing for more than 1000 years. The present work examines how this tradition has been scientifically, historically and practically elaborated in the last century. The chapter on the history of research shows that the phenomenon of the germanic chant dialect was still considered a local tradition of individual dioceses or monasteries in the 19th century. Michael Hermesdorff from Trier was the first to recognize striking similarities between these fragmented traditions; his pupil Peter Wagner founded the basics of the scientific research. Recepce «germánského chorálního dialektu» v první polovině 20. století (Abstrakt) V dnešní muzikologii hraje germánský chorální dialekt («germanischer Choraldialekt») sotva významnější roli. V první polovině 20. století však byla situace značně odlišná. Povědomí o tomto hudebním fenoménu významně podpořilo zveřejnění samotného termínu «germánský chorální dialekt» fribourským profesorem Peterem Wagnerem v roce 1925. Na této melodické variantě se do značné míry shodují prameny latinského liturgického zpěvu v celé střední Evro- pě. Nejstarší svědectví tohoto jevu nalezneme již v adiastematických chorálních pramenech. Nejmladší doklady jsou pak buď restituované či nově komponované melodie v první polovině 20. století. Jde tedy o tradici, která existuje již více než 1000 let. Předkládaná práce zkoumá, jak byla tato tradice vědecky, historicky a prakticky reflektována a zpracována v minulém století. Kapitola o historii výzkumu ukazuje, že fenomén germánského chorálního dialektu byl v 19. století stále považován za místní tradici jednotlivých diecézí nebo klášterů. Michael Hermesdorff z Trevíru jako první rozpoznal nápadné podobnosti mezi těmito roztříštěnými tradicemi. Jeho student Peter Wagner pak položil základy vědeckého výzkumu. Hacks/Müller: Dramatická tvorba NDR ve vztahu k literárním tradicím a socialistické přítomnosti

2021 - německý (anglicky) This dissertation joins a conversation in German literary studies about East German literature's role, identity, and characteristic features. The thesis discusses the phenomenon of autonomy of the dramatic compositions written by Peter Hacks and Heiner Müller in the 1960s and 1970s in the GDR. The theoretic background of the research consists, among other things, of a short introduction to theoretical concepts developed by Kenneth Burke (particularly his New Rhetoric approach presented in The philosophy of literary form), Raymond Williams (including his cultural materialism), as well as Max Horkheimer and Theodor Adorno (Critical Theory). Furthermore, the dissertation deals with the idea of metatheatre, and it discusses elements of metadrama (Karin Vieweg-Marks) in the selected plays. The symbolic boundaries of research are the Berlin Wall's construction in 1961 and the expulsion of the German poet and songwriter Wolf Biermann in 1976. By analyzing the authors' concrete strategies, the thesis demonstrates that their plays articulate both the European literary tradition and the (East) German socialist project. (česky) Tato dizertační práce z oblasti německé literární vědy se zabývá úlohou, identitou a charakteristickými rysy východoněmecké divadelní literatury. Studie pojednává o fenoménu autonomie dramatických textů napsaných Peterem Hacksem a Heinerem Müllerem v 60. a 70. letech dvacátého století v NDR. Teoretické pozadí výzkumu sestává mimo jiné z krátkého úvodu do konceptů vyvinutých Kennethem Burkem (zejména jeho New Rhetoric), Raymondem Williamsem (včetně jeho kulturního materialismu), stejně jako Maxem Horkheimerem a Theodorem Adornem (kritická teorie). Dizertační práce se dále zabývá konceptem metateatru a také pojednává o prvcích metadramatu ve vybraných hrách. Symbolickými hranicemi výzkumu jsou stavba Berlínské zdi v roce 1961 a expatriace německého básníka a skladatele Wolfa Biermanna v roce 1976. Analýza konkrétních strategií ukazuje, že Hacksovy a Müllerovy divadelní skladby se vztahují jak k evropské literární tradici, tak k (východo)německému socialistickému projektu.
