2022 - Czech The proceedings present a summary of the abstracts of talks presented at the 21st annual Computer Applications in Archaeology conference. The theme of the conference was Archaeology of Open Data. Talks focused mainly on research and other use of data that are made openly available (e.g. they come from open databases or other similar sources). The goal of the conference was to discuss the possibilities of data reuse in archaeology in accordance with the FAIR principles. The program was further supplemented with thematic workshops on data reuse. Sborník představuje souhrn abstraktů příspěvků na 21. ročníku konference Počítačová podpora v archeologii. Tématem konference byla Archeologie otevřených dat. Příspěvky se soustředily zejména na výzkumné a další využití dat, která jsou dávána otevřeně k dispozici (např. pocházejí z otevřených databází či jiných obdobných zdrojů). Cílem konference bylo diskutovat o možnostech opakovaného použití dat v archeologii v souladu s FAIR principy. Program byl dále doplněn o tematické workshopy k problematice opakovaného použití dat (data re-use). In the next section, there were contributions devoted to current research. 51. konference Archaeologia Historica byla věnována stému výročí založení Státního archeologického ústavu v Praze. Byla rozdělena na témata, která se věnovala historii archeologických institucí, metodologickému vývoji oboru, dlouhodobě zkoumaným lokalitám a významným osobnostem oboru. 2018 - Czech The bilingual proceedings summarise the contributions presented at the international conference Computer Applications in Archaeology 2018, in the form of extended abstracts. The main topic of the conference was “big data” in archaeology, among others the collection of archaeological data using modern methods, archaeological remote sensing and 3D modeling and visualization in archaeology. The key-note lecture was given by a foreign expert (Christopher Green, University of Oxford). The conference included a workshop by L. Šmejda focused on working with Google Earth Engine. Dvojjazyčný sborník shrnuje příspěvky přednesené na mezinárodní konferenci Počítačová podpora v archeologii 2018, a to formou rozšířených abstraktů. Hlavním tématem konference byla “velká data” v archeologii, mezi dalšími pak sběr archeologických dat pomocí moderních metod, archeologický dálkový průzkum a 3D modelování a vizualizace v archeologii. V rámci konference byla přednesena přednáška zahraničního odborníka (Christopher Green, University of Oxford) a proběhl workshop L. Šmejdy zaměřený na práci nástrojem Google Earth Engine. 2017 - Czech In the decision-making procedures, the interest in the protection of nature often collides with other interests and values. Declaring certain value to be in a public interest strengthens the position of that value and justifies its priority over other interests. This contribution focuses firstly on the concept of the public interest and the ways how collisions of competing interests are solved in general. Then it analyses the Czech legislation on natural protection and its provisions on the public interest. Zájem na ochraně přírody se v rozhodovacích procesech často ocitá v kolizi s jinými zájmy a hodnotami. Přiřazení určité hodnotě charakteru veřejného zájmu jí dává v případě těchto kolizí vyšší důležitost a legitimizuje její upřednostnění před jinými zájmy. Příspěvek se zabývá nejprve konceptem veřejného zájmu a způsoby řešení kolizí mezi různými zájmy v obecné rovině. 2015 - Czech A sixth volume in the series Epigraphica et Sepulcralia, with a concept as a periodical forum for epigraphic and sepulchral studies, and the aim of mapping out the current state of research in two disciplines that are in practice closely linked – sepulchral research and mediaeval and early modern epigraphy. It is intended that individual issues include deliberately articles with various chronological, thematic, disciplinary, and methodological approaches, and contributions by leading Czech and international researchers together with a selection of high-quality articles by researchers from the rising generation. In the current publication, therefore, in addition to the proceedings from the 12th and 13th international session on the issue of sepulchral monuments in 2012 and 2013, further complementary articles are to be found as outlined above. Šestý svazek řady Epigraphica et Sepulcralia s koncepcí periodického fóra epigrafických a sepulkrálních studií a s úkolem mapovat současný stav bádání obou v reálné praxi úzce souvisejících disciplín - sepulkrálního bádání a středověké a novověké epigrafiky. Jednotlivá čísla vědomě vedle sebe staví příspěvky různého chronologického, tematického, disciplinárního a metodického záběru a příspěvky renomovaných českých a zahraničních badatelů společně s výběrem kvalitních příspěvků badatelů nastupující generace. Kromě příspěvků z 12. a 13. mezinárodního zasedání k problematice sepulkrálních památek v letech 2012 a 2013 tedy v předkládané publikaci nacházíme komplementárně další příspěvky výše uvedeného vymezení.
