Some specific problems of ultrawideband wireless systems

The paper is devoted to some selected problems, specific for the ultrawideband technology. First at all we are introducing the work of ITU-R on harmonising the new technology with the existing radiocommunication systems. The we deal with power utilisation of the various PDS masks and with the existence of discrete spectral components in emitteed signals. The report try to collect contemporary state of art and comment the situation by implementation UWB systems. Zpráva rozebírá specifické problémy charakteristické při zavádění ultra-širokopásmových technologií do pravidelné radiokomunikační služby. Harmonizace nové technologie s existujícími rádiovými systémy je primárně důležitá. Pozornost věnuje i dalším vybraným technickým otázkám jako je výkonové využití spektrálních masek a existence diskrétních spekrálních komponent ve vysílaném signálu. Zpráva se snaží komentovat současný stav zavádění UWB techniky a technologie do pravidelného provozu. Application of pyroelectric sensor TGS in experimental infrared gas analyzer

The research report descibes the utilization of a triglycine sulfate pyroelectric sensor in an experimental infrared gas analyzer designed in IREE for the control of the carbon dioxide concentration in gaseous mixtures. The report includes details about the construction of the analyzer, describes its function, method of calibration and its medium term stability. Information gained during the development and testing of the analyzer is also included and can be considered in case of future further development of this unit. Výzkumná zpráva popisuje použití pyroelektrického senzoru na bázi síranu triglycinia pro analýzu obsahu kysličníku uhličitého v jednoduchém pokusném infračerveném plynovém analyzátoru. Obsahuje konstrukční údaje a popis činnosti analyzátoru, zjištění jeho kalibrační křivky a střednědobé stability. Uvádí poznatky z pokusných úprav zapojení a z provozování analyzátoru použitelné pro případný další vývoj přístroje. Determination of temperature dependence of pyroelectric coefficient and permitivity TGS trough approximation function

Technical report describes the numerical method emploeyd for evaluation of properties of tryglicinium sulfate based pyroeletric materials prepared in the IREE. The raw experimental data related to temperature dependence of capacitance and of the polarization curves of the samples are interpolated using appropriate approximation function. The program optimizes parameter values of the function expressing the permitivity and the pyroelectric coefficient. Výzkumná zpráva popisuje matematickou metodu, která umožňuje vyhodnocení vlastností pyroelektrických materiálů na bázi síranu triglycinia připravovaných v našem ústavu. Naměřené hodnoty teplotní závislosti kapacity a polarizační křivky vzorku se prokládají vhodnou aproximační funkcí. Výpočetní program optimalizuje hodnoty parametrů funkce, mezi které náležejí mj. jmenovitá permitivita a pyroelektrický koeficient.
