Methodology for evaluating the soil properties by using magnetic susceptibility , applicable for the assessment of soil degradation due to water erosion

This work has been supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic (Project No. QJ1230319, “Soil water regime within a sloping agricultural area”). The goal was to propose methodology for using the soil magnetic parameters for accessing soil properties and their spatial distribution within agricultural areas affected by water erosion. Methodology includes: choice of sampling design for target area (optimized based on other auxiliary data) and soil sampling (topsoil), soil sample processing (drying, grinding, sieving, etc.), method of magnetic susceptibility measurements (using Bartington MS2 and Kappametr SM400) and procedure to calibrate models of predicting soil properties from soil magnetic properties. Prediction of the oxidable organic carbon from the mass specific magnetic susceptibility determined in the laboratory is shown here as an example of practical application of this methodology for soil properties assessment in certain soil types. In addition close correlation between volume magnetic susceptibility measured directly in the field and mass specific magnetic susceptibility obtained in the laboratory documents that the oxidable organic carbon may be estimated directly from the field measurements. Tato metodika vznikla za finanční podpory Ministerstva zemědělství České Republiky v rámci řešení projektu QJ1230319 „Vodní režim půd na svažitém zemědělsky využívaném území“. Cílem je navrhnout metodiku pro hodnocení degradace půd v důsledku vodní eroze pomocí magnetických parametrů půd. Metodika zahrnuje: výběr odběrové sítě pro cílovou oblast (optimalizované na základě jiných pomocných dat), odběr vzorků svrchních půd , jejich zpracování (sušení, drcení, prosévání, atd.), způsob měření magnetické susceptibility (pomocí Bartington MS2 a Kappametru SM400) a postup pro kalibraci modelů předpovídání vlastností půdy z půdních magnetických vlastností. Predikce obsahu oxidovatelného uhlíku pomocí hodnot hmotnostně specifické magnetické susceptibility stanovené v laboratoři je příkladem praktické aplikace této metodiky pro hodnocení půdních vlastností v některých půdních typech. Silná korelace mezi objemovou magnetickou susceptibilitou měřenou přímo v terénu a hmotnostně specifickou susceptibilitou získanou v laboratoři dokumentuje že obsah oxidovatelného uhlíku v půdách může být určen přímo pomocí polních měření.

Methodology provides instructions for safe and economic design of roadways for mining and mining design companies in conditions of the Czech part of the Upper Silesian Coal Basin. Methodology covers area of all used roadway support as a steel arch support, rock bolt and cable bolt support as well as methods of grouting for stability and reinforcement of roadways. Metodika poskytuje pracovníkům důlních závodů a projekčních organizací základní metodické isntrukce pro navrhování bezpečných a ekonomických způsobů vyztužování dlouhých důlních děl v podmínkách české části hornoslezské uhelné pánve. Metodika zahrnuje oblast všech používaných typů výztuží od podpěrných ocelových výztuží přes svorníkování, použití dlouhých pramencových kotev až k metodám zpevňujících a stabilizačních injektáží.

Methodology of not destructive determination of boron concentration profile in Si wafers

A new method of determination of diffusion profiles in fast, not destructive and contactless (with help of infra-red reflexion) way was designed, theoretically analysed, realized either in computational and in experimental field and finally successfully tested. Byla navržena, teoreticky analyzována, realizována jak po stránce výpočetní, tak po stránce experimentální a nakonec úspěšně odzkoušena nová metoda určování difúzních profilů rychle, nedestruktivně a bezkontaktně pomocí infračervené reflexe.

The report describes a preparation procedure of dwarf pine stands removal in the Hrubý Jeseník Mts. assessing selected hazardous environmental phenomena possibly occurring in case of its realization. The hazards include hydrological conditions change, rill erosion, sheet erosion, intraskeletal erosion, snow movement, soil retention change, increase in visitors movement, timberline and spruce growth line change, and biomass quantity. A calculation of damage to forest owners due to dwarf pine stands removal from woodland is supplemented. The procedure was certificated by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic (Certification No. 101637/2012-MZE-16222/M45). Zpráva obsahuje popis metodiky postupu přípravy odstraňování klečových porostů Hrubého Jeseníku nad horní hranicí lesa posuzující vybrané rizikové environmentální jevy, které by se mohly vyskytnout v případě její realizace. Rizika zahrnují změnu hydrologických poměrů, rýhovou erozi, plošnou erozi, introskeletovou erozi, pohyb sněhu, změnu retenční schopnosti půd, zvýšený pohyb návštěvníků, změnu hranice lesa a růstu smrku a množství biomasy. Doplněn je výpočet výše újmy (škody) způsobené vlastníkům lesa odstraněním porostů borovice kleče z lesních pozemků. Metodika byla certifikována Ministerstvem zemědělství České republiky (osvědčení číslo 101637/2012-MZE-16222/M45).

The aim of methodology was, on the basis of results of analyzes of ash from more than 40 sources in the Czech Republic, these ash categorize by feedstock and identify suitable ash for use on agricultural land. It could lead to a significant shift to reduce the cost of incinerators, to the entry of new businesses on the market and to easier fulfilling of republican obligations in the share of energy production from renewable sources. Another advantage of finding employment for these materials, from an environmental view, is the reduction of landfilling and support for recycling of nutrients. The methodology presented the process for the selection of suitable ash for agricultural purposes and the reader should be able to determine the applicability of the material. Cílem metodiky bylo na základě zjištěných výsledků analýz popelů z více než 40 zdrojů v České republice tyto popele kategorizovat dle vstupní suroviny a vytipovat vhodné popele pro použití na zemědělské půdě, což by znamenalo významný posun ke snižování nákladů spaloven, vstup nových provozoven na trh a snadnější dodržování republikových závazků při naplňování podílu produkce energie z obnovitelných zdrojů. Další výhodou nalezení uplatnění pro tyto materiály, z environmentálního hlediska je omezení skládkování a podpora recyklace živin. Metodika v ucelené podobě předkládá postup při výběru vhodných popelů pro zemědělské účely, aby byl čtenář schopen určit použitelnost daného materiálu.

Autoři se podíleli na vypracování některých pravidel trhu s plynem uveřejněných ve vyhlášce č. 365/2009 Sb., a to zejména na charakterizaci odběrného místa pro přiřazení typového diagramu dodávky, výpočtu odběru plynu podle typového diagramu dodávky, postupu stanovení roční spotřeby plynu zákazníků s měřením typu C a charakterizaci tříd typových diagramů dodávky.
