The animal bones from some objects from the settlement of the linear ceramics culture from Vedrovice was studied. The research included osteological, osteometrical, taphonomical and palaeopathological analyses. Byl zpracován zvířecí osteologický materiál z vybraných objektů sídliště s lineární keramikou ve Vedrovicích (osteologická, osteometrická, tafonomická a paleopatologická analýza).

A sacral building in the Smaal yard adjacent to the cathedral of St. Václav in Olomouc

This article describes the finding of a sacral building - a small church (found in a Small yard adjacent to the cathedral of St. Václav). Geophysical survey over the area determined substantial features of the church - 14 m long and 11 m wide. Our results have revealed about the archaeological history of this place, in the second half of the 9th century AD there was constructed a sacral stone mound with iron ingots, around the mound was a clay - and - timber wall reinforced by stone elements. A large midden was found in front of the walls, with deposits from the 10th through the beginning of the 12th century. In the midden was found a burial from the 11th century and a huge quantity of sherds, animal bones, etc. On a destroyed part of the walls was constructed a small sacral building at the beginning of the 12th century, demolished in 1131, when the cathedral´s construction began. Ćlánek popisuje nález a zkoumání sakrální stavby - malého kostela postavěného na dvoře u katedrály sv. Václava. Geofyzikální průzkum plochy určil jeho rysy (jednolodní stavba s apsidou - 14m dlouhá a 11m široká). Stopy prehistorického osídlení byly nalezeny v několika sondách a jamách (ve druhé polovině 9. stol. n.l. byly postaveny kamenné valy s železnými pruty). Před zdí nalezen násep s nánosy od poč. 10. do 12. stol. Na skládce bylo nalezeno pohřebiště z 11. stol., množství zvířecích kostí atd. Počátkem 12. stol. byla postavena malá sakrální budova, existující pár let - zdemolována v roce 1131, kdy začala výstavba katedrály.

Nondestructive Surveying Methods Applied at the Construction Site 0136, Highway D1 Říkovice - Přerov

A combination of archaeological data, and aerial and geophysical surveying over construction site 0136 Říkovice - Přerov (Highway D 1) has yielded a considerable amount of information, which suggest a relatively dense inhabitation especialy in the northern part of the construction site (right terrace in the valley of Bečva River in the vicinity of Přerov), and rather scarce indications in the southern part. An efficient combination of different methods brought about background information sufficient to subsequently excavate specific areas, which contributed significantly to reducing the costs and time necessary to complete the archaeological research. Kombinací archeologických údajů, letecké a geofyzikální prospekce na trase dálnice D1, stavby 0136 Říkovice - Přerov byla získána řada informací, které naznačují poměrně intenzivní osídlení v severní části dálničního tahu (pravá terasa řeky Bečvy v okolí Přerova), i jeho projevy lokálnějšího rázu u jižního segmentu stavby. Účelnou kombinací uplatněných disciplín se podařilo získat optimální podklady k realizaci vlastního výzkumu, zaměřeného především na místa zjištěná prospekcí.

The Gravettian settlement pattern of the Spytihněv-Napajedla microregion in the light of the geomorphological processes

The Spytihněv-Napajedla microregion was intensively surveyed. During the study of settlement pattern, the strong association of sites with geomorphological processes was observed. The influence of geomorphological processes is necessary to take into account when studying the settlement strategies. Příspěvek podává nástin problematiky interpretace umístění lokalit, jejich případné vazby a sídelní strategie v napajedelsko-spytihněvském mikroregionu a to na základě detailné revize terénu v dané oblasti.

From october 2001 till may 2002 the rescue archaeological excavation in Velké Hoštice was led and the border of the locality from the time of Lausitz culture , dated to the phases RHA1-A2, was discovered. The object 557 was the only one, dated to the phases RBC2-RBD. Od října 2001 do května 2002 byl v trati Za Humny veden záchranný archeologický výzkum, při kterém byl zachycen okraj sídliště z období lužické kultury, datovaný do stupňů RHA1-A2. Pouze objekt 557 byl starší (RBC2-RBD).

The article analyses in detail the deed, by means of which the land holder lends old mining work to mining consortium for new mining of silver in 1515. It clarifies period circumstances, introduces individual persons interested in the enterprise and attemps to locate precisely the mine lent within the cadastral territory of the village of Bartoušov near Havlíčkův Brod. Článek podrobně analyzuje listinu, ktrou r. 1515 propůjčil pozemkový držitel staré báňské práce důlnímu konsorciu k nové těžbě stříbra, objasňuje dobové okolnosti, seznamuje s jednotlivými na podniku zainteresovanými osobami a pokouší se o přesnou lokalizaci propůjčeného dolu v rámci katastru obce Bartoušov u Havlíčkova Brodu.
