2020 - Czech The theme of the nascent country folk in the Czech culture of the 19-th century does not concert only the past but has strong resonances also in the present. Since the 19-th century there has been arising a rather stereotype concept about the character, protagonists, and importance of the phenomane of folk culture. On the other hand, artistic reflection of traditional folk culture testifies to the variety of inspirations offered by this environment. The essays collected in the book grasp the phenomena from interdisciplinary points of view. Téma zrození venkovského lidu v české kultuře 19. století není problematikou týkající se pouze minulosti, ale díky svým asociacím silně rezonuje i v přítomnosti. Od 19. století se postupně utvářela značně stereotypní představa o povaze, nositelích a významu fenoménu lidové kultury. Na druhou stranu reflexe tradiční venkovské kultury v umění dokládá, jak širokou škálu inspirací toto prostředí nabízelo. Příspěvky shromážděné v této knize téma zkoumají z mezioborové perspektivy.
