Software radio in the mobile radio-communication /telephony

In the paper various applications of software radio in wideband mobile telephony systems are presented. The architecture of the basic parts of the mobile systems 3G is described and special attention to the technical problems is given. The report contains many computer programs to illustrate the mathematical procedures. Zpráva rozebírá rozmanité způsoby využití software rádia v širokopásmových soustavách mobilní telefonie. Věnuje se problémům architektury základních dílů mobilních soustav třetí generace a vybraným technickým problémům charakteristickým pro tuto aplikaci. Zpráva je doplněna výpočetními programy, které dokumentují matematické postupy v textu.

Multi-function Realization of the TTS System

The research report describes the TTS system realized in the form of the DLL library for Windows 95/98//NT/2k/XP platform and also in the form of the MS ISAPI/NSAPI script for Internet applications. This TTS system works with the synthesis based on LPC, cepstral, and harmonic speech models and on the impulse response of the cepstrum. TTS systém je realizován ve formě DLL knihovny pro Windows 95/98/NT/2k/XP nebo jako MS ISAPI/NSAPI skript pro Windows Explorer/Netscape Communicator. Je popsána multi-funkční realizace TTS systému založeného na difonovém inventáři, sloužící k porovnávání kvality syntézy řeči s použitím různých metod modelování řečového signálu (LPC, kepstrální, impulzní odezva z kepstra a harmonický model).

Je předložen předběžný návrh na výrobu dvou lékařských přístrojů, a to diagnostického fluometru a terapeutického ozařovače pro diagnostiku a terapii rakovinných nádorů kůže a tzv. dutinovách orgánů člověka jako na př. dýchacích a močových cest, zažívacího traktu apod. pomocí fotodynamické metody.

Experimental results concerning the photodynamic cancer diagnostic, especially the fluorescence intensity and the size of the canceours tissue, are given. These results have been gained on patients of the cooperating hospitals by means of the fluorometer. Ve zprávě jsou uvedeny experimentální výsledky ohledně fotodynamické diagnostiky kancerózních nádorů pomocí fluorometru. Tyto výsledky byly získaány při měření intenzity a rozsahu nádorového onemocnění na pacientech ve spolupracujících klinikách. Hlavním účelem těchto měření bylo zavedení efektivní a úsporné onkologické léčby onemocnělých pacientů.
