The influence of heating on optical properties and morphology of organic matter was studied in mine-stone dumps in three districts in the Czech Republic. Vliv zahřívání na optické vlastnosti a morfologii organické hmoty byl studován studovaný v odvarech ze tří uhelných revírů ČR.

The study describes chemistry and isotopic composition of water from unsaturated zone of sandstone. Studied waters are extremely acidified. Isotopic composition of H and O of studied waters lies at local line of meteoric water. Hlavním cílem této práce bylo popsat chemizmus a isotopického složení vody nenasycené zóny pískovců. Studované vody jsou extrémně acidifikované. Izotopové složení H a O studovaných vod leží na lokální linii meteorické vody.

Cílem této práce bylo připravit biologicky inspirovaný kompozitní materiál složený z želatinové matrice, želatinových nanovláken a z nanočástic hydroxyapatitu a ověření vlivu nanovláken na mechanické vlastnosti kompozitu. The aims of this work has been the preparation of bioinspired composite materials composed of gelatin matrix, gelatin nanofibers and hydroxyapaptite powder and verifying the influence of nanofibers on the mechanical properties of the composites.

Content of polyaromatic hydrocarbons was determined in diesel fuels by 1H NMR, HPLC a LSC. Olephines and aromatics were determined in gasolines by 1H NMR a GC. Results of 1H NMR were compared with those of chromatograpic methods. Ve vzorcích motorových naft byl stanoven obsah polyaromatických uhlovodíků metodami 1H NMR, HPLC a LSC. Obsah olefinů a aromátů byl v automobilových benzinech stanoven metodami 1H NMR a GC. Výsledky 1H NMR byly srovnány s těmi chromatografických metod.

The Doupov volcanic komplex forms the Doupovské hory mts. in the western part of the Bohemian Massif, Czech republic. For several reasons, detailed geological and geophysical studie sof this interesting region arre still lacking. The situation improves as seismic measurements were perfomed there in June 2008. Doupovský vulkanický komplex vytváří Doupovské hory v západní části Českého masívu. Detailní geologické a geofyzikální studie této oblasti dosud chybí. Tuto skutečnost zlepšuje seismologické měření provedené v červnu 2008.

In January 2008 the small-aperture seismic array Ostaš in East Bohemia registered 189 microearthquakes, forming seismic swarm. Basic information about this swarm is given in the paper. V lednu 2008 zaznamenala skupinová stanice Ostaš ve východních Čechách 189 mikrozemětřesení, které tvořily seismický roj. V článku jsou shrnuty základní informace o tomto roji.

Geopolymer reactions of the metakaolinite to preparation zeolite A

Geopolymer reactions have much in common with diagenetic transformations of the sedimentary rocks. Inside of laboratory conditions occur of geopolymer masses in alkali reaction of metakaolinite to sodium aluminate (Fastex 81). As a result reaction is rise the zeolite phase (zeolite A) inside of relevant substance. Results reaction were confirmed by means of X – ray diffractometry and SEM. Geopolymerní reakce mají mnoho společného s diagenetickými přeměnami sedimentárních hornin. V laboratorních podmínkách vznikají geopolymerní hmoty při alkalické reakci metakaolinitu a hlinitanu sodného (Fastex 81). Jako výsledek reakce je objevení zeolitové fáze (zeolit A) v dané hmotě. Výsledky reakce byli potvrzeny pomocí XRD a SEM.

Tato studie si klade za cíl ověření vlivu nanočásticového hydroxyaptitu, jako bioaktivní příměsi matrice, na mechanické vlastnosti (jmenovitě pevnost v ohybu a ohybový modul pružnosti) kompozitního materiálu perspektivně použitelného v kostní chirurgii. This study is aimed at verification of influence of hydroxyapatite nanoparticles additives, commonly used to improve the bioactivity of implants, on mechanical properties (namely ultimate strength in bending and modulus of elasticity in bending) of composite material potentially applicable in the bone surgery.
