Advanced driver systems for increasing active safety of vehicle crew

Utilization assistant systems is possible to find in many industrial applications. One of them is area of vehicle systems. Namely it is active safety systems, systems for authorization driver and vehicle crew, comfortable systems, systems for monitoring driver fatigue symptoms or systems for recognition driver decoy. Využití asistenčních systémů nalezneme v celé řadě průmyslových činností. Jednou z nich je i oblast vozidlových systémů. Jedná se o systémy aktivní bezpečnosti, autorizace řidiče a osádky vozidla, komfortní systémy, systémy pro sledování únavových příznaků řidiče či systémy pro sledování odpoutání pozornosti řidiče od řízení.

Web-based environment for atmospheric dispersion modeling

V případě úniků radionuklidů do ovzduší se pro modelování jejich šíření používají komplexní atmosférické disperzní modely. Doménou těchto sys- tému jsou desktopové aplikace, mnohdy provozované na superpočítačích. Existují ovšem i výjimky, jako například americký systém IXP (International Exchange Program - http://ixp.llnl.gov, [3]), který umožňuje provádět simu- lace disperze vzdušného znečistění ve webovém prostředí. Jednou z hlavních výhod webového prostředí je fakt, že odpadá nutnost jakékoliv instalace software ze strany uživatele, který po přihlášení do systému pracuje s nejno- vější verzí modelu. Použití se neomezuje pouze na klasická PC, ale aplikaci je možno používat i v prohlížečích mobilních zařízení. Naším cílem je vybudovat obdobnou službu.

Report subject includes alternative solutions, description of communication protocol, description of interface, wiring diagram and firmware including flow diagrams. Předmětem výzkumné zprávy je návrh a realizace modulu pro zpracování signálu inkrementálního snímače a vyhodnocování jeho polohy. Obsahem zprávy je návrh variantních řešení, popis komunikačního protokolu, popis rozhraní, schéma zapojení a firmware včetně vývojových diagramů.

Positron emission tomography (PET) is a medical imaging modality which estimates spatial distribution of applied radiotracer and investigate functional processes in the patient’s body. The aim of this work is to show that the prescription used nowadays to determine the amount of activity to be applied (the necessary amount of radiotracer) results in a non-constant quality of PET images among patients with different body parameters. This work is a retrospective study and uses data acquired in the past during routine PET examinations. Pozitronová emisní tomografie (PET) je medicínská zobrazovací technika umožňující zaznamenat prostorovou distribuci podaného radiofarmaka a zkoumat tak některé funkční procesy v těle pacienta. Cílem této práce je ukázat, že předpis v současnosti používaný k určení množství podané aktivity (potřebného množství radiofarmaka) vede k nekonstantní kvalitě PET snímků mezi pacienty s různými tělesnými parametry. Práce je retrospektivní studií využívající dat získaných v minulosti při běžných PET vyšetřeních.
